The best surprise was the cotton candy package itself. It included the sugar floss and cones needed for the event. As someone who had already mentally prepared to end up with five pounds of leftover sugar and 500 cones from Amazon, this was a welcome discovery. The kids loved it, the adults appreciated how smoothly everything ran, and I appreciated not having to spend the morning troubleshooting equipment or making emergency party-supply purchases. Since our venue in particular didn't have anything for the kids to play with, we thought soft play would be a good idea to have and we're so glad we hired BQ. From the beginning BQ was on top of communication and were able to accommodate insurance issues we ran into with our venue. They made it happen fast since we were on a time crunch. One of my biggest priorities was making sure they properly disinfect the equipment after each use and they reassured us that they do. My cousin even saw the workers wiping down the equipment after our party as they were packing up. The only small negative was that we had told BQ the colors for our son's birthday theme (blue and gray) but they ended up having green and pink and yellow mixed in and they asked us if we wanted balloons included with the jumphouse, which we said yes to but it wasn't there on the day of. Again, just a small negative that didn't impact the party but it would've been nice to have those requests complete. Although, having their service at the party was great. Cash, check, or credit card excepted, extra fees for using a credit card. Xpressjumper does not carry a huge selection of bouncing house compare to other places which was fine.
