Ok. I have to be honest here. It was stupid got outside and I was melting. I also love ice cream in general. This may be a biased assessment. I really enjoyed the flavor. It sweet but not too sweet and the toppings could be found through the whole desert. I will be back.

I looove Theron's. They layer the toppings throughout the frozen custard which is the way it should be, but no place ever does it. And the custard is creamy and amazing. Highly recommend!!

What can I say? This frozen custard is smooth, creamy and ridiculously good. I had vanilla, and it's actually worth writing about! Strong vanilla flavor, think double vanilla! If you eat outside, you get a cool view of Fox Theater.

They do rotate out their flavors! They also let you sample the custard too, just ask! The gentleman working here was very friendly and informative. We came here 30 minutes before closing, so one of the available flavors were already sold out. You have the option of customizing your own frozen custard with each topping being an extra 75 cents each or choosing a pre-curated mix and just choosing the custard base. I got the Stefanovich with vanilla frozen custard base. It comes with butterscotch and crushed Heath bars. Loved that this was distributed throughout my custard instead of only just piled at the top! The custard was a rich French vanilla with a smoother, softer consistency than fro-yo. Great place to stop by for a frozen treat!

Great local spot to come for dessert! They've got classic vanilla and chocolate, and a seasonal flavor; and plenty of toppings that you can customize to your liking. We got two small sundaes, and were more than satisfied with the portions and the quality! I got vanilla topped with butterscotch, macadamia nuts, and crushed up Oreos. My girlfriend got the seasonal flavor (mint) with chocolate chips. Really simple builds, but they were great due to the quality of the ingredients. Highly recommend coming in to check out their custards and their sandwiches!

Theron's Frozen Custard is richer than ice cream. To qualify as frozen custard it is required to have a higher egg yolk percentage than ice cream - you can taste the difference. When we were there, Theron's only had two flavors; chocolate and vanilla. But they did the 2 flavors well: rich, creamy and flavorful. While lacking in frozen custard flavor variety, they made up with topping choices and portion size. This afternoon of 105+ degree heat we had the Blackhawk Bash and the Stefanovich. As you can see in my pics, they layer the addins throughout the sundae. Also, somehow, they fill the top of the cup cone with frozen custard - a very ample portion. The Blackhawk Bash had vanilla frozen custard (you can choose chocolate) with Oreos and hot caramel. The hot caramel wasn't so hot that it melted the frozen custard. This combo was rich and sweet. It packs a sugar rush. The Stefanovich had chocolate frozen custard with butterscotch and heath bar crumbles. The combo was also very rich and sweet. The heath bar crumbles added a nice crunch. On our next trip, we'll opt for smaller portions and order frozen custard by the cup. And for $.75 per addin, we'll make our own creation. They have 6 family style indoor tables. We enjoyed their air conditioning while watching the pedestrian traffic across the street.

My favorite is the Zack Attack! Pecans, caramel and chocolate, yum!

This place is SO GOOD i've been wanting to try custard and it's everything i thought it would be. The staff were really nice too, we showed up right before closing. Very delicious

We were out looking for a good high quality dessert and we found it. We arrived about 20 minutes before closing, so we weren't expecting to see a lot of people there. I ordered a therons reg size and my husband ordered a terrier treat I believe it was called. Theron's custard was good and very decadent. Next time we go I'd probably build my own though. I recommended for any family outing.

I've been interested in trying this place out for a while now and just recently made my way over. From what I've heard, they just recently moved to a it's current location closer to Downtown Redlands. It's pretty interesting. It seems they bought out a space with a lot of different stalls which I'm guessing is supposed to occupied by other food places or vendors. Currently it's just the Frozen Custard and Theron's sandwiches, so it's pretty empty at the moment. It's also very echoey so sound definitely carries. Kinda awkward, but that's alright. They're trying to grow and that's cool. We were the only ones there when I visited, so the service was pretty fast. So I tried one of their Sundaes, the Terrier Treat, which had their vanilla custard, peanut butter cups and bananas. It was good. I'm always a fan of peanut butter cups. I've heard that custard is supposed to be like creamier and/or richer. I'm not sure I got that from this Sundae, but it was pretty hot and it was starting to melt quickly. It's hard to judge, maybe that significantly affected its consistency. Flavor was good though. I also tried some of my friend's Theron's Original which was also pretty decent. Maybe I'll have to come back to reassess, but overall it's a decent frozen dessert option!

Yum! Theron's marketplace is a one stop shop for a Deli, gourmet salads, Hawaiian BBQ and Frozen custard to finish off your meal. Please note they close on Sundays! And Hawaiian BBQ is served only on Fri & Saturdays. Love their selection of hot and cold sandwiches. They serve Boar's head deli products and even offer one my favorite bread! Squaw! You can also build your own sandwich. Each of their sandwiches are $9.99 They serve delicious Hawaiian BBQ on weekends (Fri &Sat) but sometimes they sell out before the end of the night! So if you want BBQ, make sure you go early! Choose a plate and you get all three meats (chicken, pork and beef). My fave is the pork. If you just want one meat, then choose the bowl option. The XL plate ($15) is good for two to share! Frozen custard is so delicious.. creamy and a nice treat to end your meal.. a small is $3 but big enough to share. There's a special flavor of the day every day in addition to chocolate and vanilla that are served daily. There is also large variety of sundaes with various toppings. Workers here are super friendly people!

Therons Original Sundae with hot caramel, almonds, bananas

Kauai Sunrise- ordered the "small" size which will comfortably feed 3 people. The base consisted of ice with a orange-pineapple syrup (think cactus cooler), topped with fresh pineapple and a hupai foam! This was super delicious and perfect for a hot day. Therons original sundae- caramel + vanilla custard + almonds + bananas. The custard itself is so creamy and delicious, although after a while eating it the sugar really hits you hard. I really appreciated how this sundae was staggered so that there were banana and almonds in the middle and on the top. Super tasty and will comfortably feed 2! Covid precautions: there were 4 tables, co soaring of up to 4 chairs each. Each table was socially distanced

It was a very hot Saturday and some ice cream sounded good. The hours posted state they open at 11am. It was 11:30 and the doors were locked, no employees in sight. Odd, as the lights were on, and the sidewalk signs were out. At least 7 other patrons also tried to enter and all of us were frustrated. With the insulting prices they charge, it might be best to be open and serve customers. After reading a lot of negative reviews it looks like a return visit will not happen.
