Comfy, brightly lit dining area. Perfect for a late night snack
    Glenn J.

Nice late night offerings open til 2:00 am. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Attentive service in a nice brightly lit dining area. They have a wide offering of different beef cuts for the Pho. Fried egg rolls are extra meaty but not the traditional cha Gio with fresh leafy veggies and nuoc mam dipping sauce. The pho broth was fresh and home made. It's good for those that prefer it on the sweeter side with mostly cinnamon and star anise flavors. I personally prefer more umami and more balanced flavor with stronger ginger, garlic, onion flavors balanced with the warm spices. Over all the good experience.

Pho & Brew is definitely a late night spot, and convenient if Soup Shop down the way is too busy, and frankly, that's all it really boils down to. The inside is small yet filled with tables, and we came on a Friday night around 12 AM. They offered me a 20% discount after being told that the Pho that I wanted didn't have meatballs. It was either that or, they do have a 20% discount in general but I was a little shaky about what exactly it entails. Majority of the pho here is 13-15 dollars, but I think you could find better Pho elsewhere. The soup was un-naturally sweet and wasn't strained so the spices still floated in the soup, not reminiscent of the clear cut broth we always see in other Pho places. But more importantly, for 13-15 dollars, the meat was small and not enough to justify the price. Maybe 3 small pieces of sliced ribeye, a piece of tendon and don't think I saw any flank. And the noodles were overcooked and definitely tasted like they had sat for a while, but that may just be the type of noodle. Service was a little lacking as well. We requested waters and had to follow up 3 times to get them, even after our food had arrived; and they were full of ice and barely full (one was almost halfway.) Keep in mind, this is on a Friday night and we were only 1 of 3 tables currently there. While I want to love this place, unfortunately I would have just waited at Soup Shop for better quality Pho at the same price point, and more attentive service. Unfortunately I don't think I'll give this place another try because Pho places are a dime-a-dozen, but it was nice to be able to try another unique take on another restaurant's Pho

    2/21/26 Pho with rare steak!

Something quick and easy after a long day at Disneyland and wanted soup to warm up. We found this spot and there were no waiting. It's a very small shop. I made it simple and ordered Pho with rare steak. I'm very picky with the broth and I thought it was just ok. Broth is very cloudy and dark in color. It's also sweet. I'm use to clear clean broths. Just ok. Staff looked very tired and gave us low energy vibes. The bathroom situation also needed some help. It's a shared restroom Women/Men. No toilet paper and empty soap in the dispenser. Yikes.

This is a cute and welcoming location, there's takeaway and sit down services available. The service is fine, they employees are friendly. When we went, my friend and I just wanted to have some water with our meal but the server told us their ice machine was down, so we said water without ice is fine. However when he brought the water, it was straight up hot water like for tea. Not exactly what we imagined when he said the ice was out. We ended up getting soda since it was the only cold option but it was canned soda which I wish wasn't the case. The pho was fine, but I found myself adding more to tweak the broth to my liking. Again, not sure if they were just eliminating food waste, but they specified that their beef broth(?) was on special. They included beef broth with my brisket pho but my friend who ordered chicken pho, also got beef broth and didn't count for the special price even though it was very obviously beef broth that they used.

After a full day at Disneyland we were craving some Vietnamese fare. Although Disneyland had plenty of food to offer doing 10k steps in a day built up an hefty appetite. Pho & Brew was calling our name offering different types of pho combinations and rice dishes. The ambiance reminded me of a simple yet effective mom and pop establishment. The cashier/server insist we sit anywhere and ensure he'd be ready for us asap. This menu was very simple but pretty much had everything you needed. We ordered Combination pho # 1, meatball pho, fried rice with grilled pork, garlic noodles with pork skewers. The pho was delicious pho broth was on point very surprising. I didn't even have to put anything in it. The broth was rich and not too salty but flavorful and delicious on all cylinders if you ever go this is a must order. Fried rice is very unique and delicious Vietnamese style paired well with the grilled pork. Garlic noodles very underrated looks simple but packed with flavor and very addictive goes with the pork skewers hand in hand. The pork by the way grilled to perfection with its lemongrass marinade is a staple in Vietnamese fare so succulent and soft so delicious. This is no upscale establishment but very underrated mom and pop business that's thriving. This is a very affordable yet delicious if your not trying to spend crazy money for food especially after Disneyland this place is it bang for your buck for sure definitely go check this place out close minds don't get fed and i recommend you go feed yourself at Pho & Brew delicious!

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Parking: 3/5 Family friendly: 3/5 Stroller friendly: 2/5 ADA accessible: 3/5 Either the name Pho & Brew, the first thing that came to mind was, beer and pho. Which I thought was interesting, but the brew part ended up being coffee brew (lol). My daughter and I ended up ordering Bo Luc Lac (shaken beef $12.99) has excellent flavors though for the price, I felt like it lacked enough protein. Inside, it seats about 12-15 people comfortably with a 55 inch TV screen showing the latest YouTube or music vids. If you're in the area, is drop by.

    Shrimp spring rolls

Tbh if I could put 0 stars I would. To begin with, my husband saw an older gentleman pick his nose and scratch his neck...my hubby wanted to leave but I said wait let's give this place the benefit of the doubt. This happened on June 16 @1:30 AM ( we were the only ones) Upon getting seated..we placed our order and my husband was able to see the man cook and toss the noodles with NO GLOVES. UNSANITARY. The shrimp spring rolls were raw. Trust me. I've had these multiple times and they've NEVER tasted THIS BAD. The pho itself? DISGUSTING. Broth had a sweet taste to it and weird smell. YALL MARUCHAN TASTE BETTER THAN THIS. PERIOD. I told the people there and they just nodded their head and continued to CHARGE ME FOR EVERYTHING. Disappointing!!!! I'm sorry but this place isn't it. You guys looking for a good pho place? PHO LU & PHO LAB!!!!!!!!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!!!!!

Hair found in the pho with meatball

Arrived at 9:30pm, sat ourselves on the high chairs which felt very unsteady. We ordered pho with meatballs and pho with rare steak. We received two iced waters, ice came from an open ice container on the counter. The steak in the rare steak pho was tough and unlike any other meat I've ever received in pho. The flavor was off, I ate some of it but couldn't make myself eat the steak or more than a quarter of the broth. My daughter's meatball soup had a hair that she found in the soup towards the end. I didn't bring it up to the server, I just knew I'd never be back. I paid and during check out I was given a free Thai iced tea to take. Anyways, the servers were nice and friendly but the cleanliness of the place, the taste and the hair will be why we will not be going back.

We went to Soup Shop on a rainy Friday night and the wait was over an hour long, so we decided to check out another place in the area. That's when we found this place. I called ahead and the woman on the phone said there was no wait. However, when we got there less than 10 mins later the open seats were taken. We decided to wait and were seated within 10 mins. The place is super small. They have 4/5 seating sections each with a couple of tables which could seat 4 ppl total. They also have a small bar seating are with 4 seats. There's no waiting area or outside seating. The menu is very limited. Only a few appetizers, pho and entree options. We ordered pho and spring rolls with Thai Teas. The food was good and of good quality with generous portions. There was only one waitress, but the place is small enough to where you think she'd can handle it. However, our pho bowls came out before our drinks and appetizers. We didn't get any fixings for our pho and when we'd ask her for stuff she was short and not very friendly. To sum it up, I'd come back for the food but the customer service deters me.

Garlic Noodle with Fried Chicken Wings

Quick service. I ordered the garlic noodles and chicken wings to-go. The combos are definitely a steal! I've ordered pho & fried rice from here before also. They normally play some music videos on the tv. It's a small cozy place. Whenever I feel under the weather I always order their pho. The owners are really friendly. If you're craving something quick, affordable and tasty this is the spot !

So surprised why this place isn't ranked higher! The food prices are OUTSTANDING! For those rare nights of drinking and you're craving pho-- this is the place to be! Service is kind and friendly, ambiance is intentionality clean & fresh-- perfect pho place! $10 beef stew pho?! WOW was delicious. Top it off with a $5.99 fried rice you can add the protein at home, can't wait to come back and try more! Saving grace at 1am when everything else was closed!

    Rib bone pho
    Sara G.

First off. Service and ambiance were perfectly fine. They made you feel welcome. All good there. It was the food that was okay and that's why I'm in the middle. The rib bone was tasty but too fatty for me and usually I don't mind that. I will take it tho because it does help restore the body towards winter time. It just was overwhelming because the broth was a bit too oily. I couldn't finish it and I do feel sluggish today. Maybe I could have finished it with a different meat but still. I guess I shouldn't have to.. if by chance reduction there then all is well. I wouldn't have minded at all the rib bone fat ratio at all! Keep that broth lean & yum.

I went here because it was nearby and I didn't want to go to Soup Shop (the other pho place in the area) because I knew it would be crowded. When I came in the evening, there were not many people. The vibe is quiet and low-key. I got the brisket pho which was good. It wasn't anything spectacular in terms of the broth or toppings, but I thought the meat quality was yummy and solid. It definitely satisfies a basic pho fix if you're craving it. The eggrolls are also pretty good and filling. I think they are homemade and they're piping hot when they come out. Price was reasonable. Service was standard. Location is not the best in a slightly shady strip mall, but I wouldn't say it's particularly dangerous. Lots of parking available.

And I am SO glad we did because everything about our experience was seriously a 10/10! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was amazing. The gentleman at the front greeted us and escorted us to our table, and right away we felt welcomed and comfortable. Our server, Quang, was absolutely the sweetest! He was so friendly, outgoing, attentive, and helpful, especially when it came to giving us recommendations since it was our first time there. He had such a positive energy and really made our experience even better. And the FOOD!!! If I could give it 1,000/10, I seriously would. We tried the Ube Cloud, Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Garlic Parmesan Fries, Spicy Shrimp Wontons, Corn Ribs, Garlic Butter Prawns, and Filet Garlic Noodles, and honestly, there wasn't ONE thing we didn't enjoy. Everything was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. But what really stood out to us was that it wasn't just the food -- it was the entire experience. The staff, the atmosphere, the music, and just the overall vibe made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. The music they were playing was amazing too! My friend and I were enjoying ourselves, eating good food, listening to good music, and just having such a great time. The whole place honestly had such a warm, homey feeling to it. When we were leaving, the gentleman who had greeted and seated us earlier ended up having a whole conversation with my friend and me. He was so sweet and personable! He mentioned that they may be opening a location in Culver City, and I told him I really hope they do because that would be much closer to home for me. I was even joking with him that if they open one, they need to bring the whole staff from this location over there too because everyone here was THAT amazing. At the same time, even if there ends up being a location closer to me, I would honestly still make the drive back to this one. When you visit somewhere for the first time and have such a great experience, that location becomes special. You can visit the same restaurant somewhere else, but the people, atmosphere, and experience aren't necessarily going to feel the same. This location definitely left that kind of impression on us. I really hope this review reaches management because the staff here deserves the recognition. Everyone we interacted with was wonderful, and Quang especially took such great care of us. This was our first time at VOX Kitchen, but it DEFINITELY won't be our last. We're already talking about coming back and bringing our family and more of our friends so we can all enjoy it together. 10/10 food. 10/10 service. 10/10 atmosphere. 10/10 experience. The sandwich was generously filled the fresh ingredients and the meat to veggie ratio was perfect. I'm not sure what the green sauce was that they finished the sammie off with but it was SO tasty!! I requested the popcorn chicken with medium heat and it was just spicy enough to leave my tongue tingling slightly. My friend saved an egg roll for me and it was also really good. (The tea by the way was very refreshing.) Now, this was my first time here but I never saw anyone come out to check the dining room or wipe down the tables after the lunch rush. This was especially concerning to me because they had a guy doing work on the windows who put his feet/ shoes on the tables right under said windows. Ewww. But aside from the parking challenge and the table hygiene/cleanliness, our visit was quite enjoyable and the food was very good. We would definitely return, but we'll have to plan around the lunch rush!

The presentation was nice, but unfortunately, the sauce was way too salty for my taste. I usually eat less salt, so the saltiness really overpowered the other flavors and made it difficult to enjoy the dish. Overall, it had potential, but I think the sauce could use a lot less salt to let the crawfish and other ingredients shine.

This establishment is located in a plaza with ample parking. What we got: - Baked clams - my mom and dad like seafood, and they approve - Deep fried calamari - my partner likes calamari, and he approves - Grilled pork spring rolls - pretty good, though I don't think I would get it again because the pork was a bit dry - Salmon belly spring rolls - wow I would definitely get this again next time, even if it's a bit pricey! the salmon belly is so buttery and soft - Grilled filet mignon or pork vermicelli bowl - family friend ordered this since she wasn't too familiar with Viet cuisine; I'd say this is a safe option if you're not used to Vietnamese food - Beef chow fun - the noodles are so crunchy and doesn't soak up the sauce/soup at the bottom too much thankfully so it wasn't too soggy. The veggies were cooked and seasoned well, but I wish there was a bit more beef on this dish Everything was delicious and it's a good restaurant to take my picky parents to if we want to have a nicer sit down family dinner. The restaurant was clean and the service was good!

The restaurant was nearly empty for a Friday mid-afternoon, so service was very quick. The menu has a lot of items, so as a first timer here it took me a while to decide on what I wanted to get! What we got: -$7 Salmon belly roll: this dish stood out the most to me with the piping hot, glistening, crispy salmon skin. I loved the crunch when biting into the roll! The fresh veggies helped balance the flavors as well. The portion was very small though- only two rolls! -$16 Garlic noodles: delicious and garlicky, but very oily. The shrimp were big, but slightly overcooked, so they were dry. -$15 Bo ne: a childhood classic! Dip the banh mi in the egg, or layer on a bit of everything in the banh mi for a hearty bite. The steak was juicy and easy to cut. I liked the spicy links which added more flavor to the meal. Overall, I enjoyed each dish. The flavors are all very familiar with what I ate growing up. Parking is very easy as well since the restaurant is in a huge plaza.

I was initially won over by the 2,000+ reviews, so I decided to give this place a try. The service was okay, but the overall atmosphere was very much a hole-in-the-wall type of place -- not particularly clean, inviting, or aesthetic. I ordered the pho ga (chicken), and the chicken came separately on a plate in large pieces. I had to use my utensils to pull it apart, as I assumed it would already be cut up, in my bowl and ready to eat. My fiancé ordered a beef rice plate, which he said was pretty underwhelming and lacked flavor. Unfortunately, the biggest issue came after we left. Almost immediately, I started feeling extremely sick. My body tends to react to food pretty quickly, so I knew something was wrong. I had my fiancé rush me back to my apartment, where I ended up getting violently sick and spending the next few hours throwing up and repenting on the toilet. I stopped going to hole-in-the-wall places years ago, but because of all the great reviews, I decided to give this one a chance. Needless to say, I learned my lesson and won't be coming back.
