This is my "go to" coffeehouse downtown because they have lots of great seating, the atmosphere is friendly and local, the "old world" design is calming and of course, the coffee is outstanding. All the food I have tried here is also amazing. If you're thinking of a great place to chill out, read a book & have a delicious cup of fresh brew in a tourist-free, Starbucks zombie-free environment then Think Coffee is your place. Great place to use the bathroom, pick up more caffeine, and appreciate some eye candy on the way to the High Line. I did read a few pages of _This Side of Paradise_ in the dining area in the back before the AC kicked in too strongly. The back room was surprisingly quiet with the number of people occupying the seats. Tons of people plugged into their laptops doing work or "werk." Furnishings have a theme of cozy dark wood. Front room is more social and more appropriate for meeting up with friends. Lots of recycling/composting options made me feel like I did not just fly all day from San Francisco. A solid coffee is really an under-appreciated thing. I can't say that my Spanish Latte was mind blowing, nor was the Americano I tried later. Yet both were really good. This location goes above and beyond all other locations, most importantly in terms of size, service and ambiance. I absolutely love the fact that they were able to secure a store in this area and use such a large space in back. It's like a whole music hall- they should have concerts here on Friday nights. Can be on the pricey side when it comes to food but it's relatively low key- ample cozy couch space, low lighting, low noise. More of a finance/fashion crowd, less hipster vibe. read more

I am basing this review off of Think's iced coffee, it's the only item I've had there and it's terrific. It has a distinct taste to it, somewhat smoky even. I really like it with some cream and sugar. The space is large and open, conducive to sitting down and reading emails or whatever you may like to do sitting at a table in a coffee shop. read more

This is my favorite Think location (I've been to four of them), because of its size and the consistency in the coffee and food. Coffee is generally always good. The soups were a surprise - they change daily and are supplied by Hale and Hearty. It's a a good spot to work for a couple of hours. read more

I came here on a Saturday afternoon and the place was crowded. My friend and I were lucky to get a table to ourselves. I had an iced coffee (black) with just sugar and it was really good. I enjoyed the flavor of it. The bathroom line stayed long throughout my hour visit there. It wasn't the worst bathroom but it surely wasn't the cleanest. I love to go here just because they have decent coffee and food for a reasonable (although slightly expensive price). Busy place--got the last seats there after an afternoon walking around Chelsea Market and the High Line. I had the caramel macchiato, which was strong and not too syrupy, and the fig pastry, a grown-up version of a fig newton topped with roasted almond slivers. The place was comfortable despite being crowded, and the WiFi worked fine when I was there. Overall, I found the cafe pricey but enjoyable, and I would return for more. read more

I walked in and thought I was entering a blackroom because it was so dark inside. I went in to do a little bit of reading with a drink and it was uncomfortable because the lighting was extremely dim. The environment is nice, great vibes, and the was a lot of seating unlike most coffee shops in Manhattan. I got a iced latte and let's just say there was more ice in there than coffee, I got a medium and I was done within 3 sips, so that was really disappointing. But the coffee itself was really good. I don't know if it was just that day but they played nothing but Macklemore the entire time I was there. As much as I like Macklemore, I wouldn't much rather prefer a more soothing and relaxing music while I'm having coffee reading a book or doing an assignment. read more

This is not a place to hang out as it is packed with millennials and their laptops. Usually coffee is pretty good and the handmade baked goods and sandwiches are quite tasty, although the service is very inconsistent and they have been known to run out of lids. One time I received am iced coffee filled with grinds, which makes one wonder why I ever returned. read more

I love this Think Coffee - great coffee and food, really nice staff, big space with lots of seating. My go to place before work. The restroom leaves a little to be desired but that's fine. My only gripe is the iced coffee is VERY inconsistent in strength - one day it will be nice and strong, the next it's very watery and I feel a bit ripped off. I've seen them water it down before, too... The coffee is top notch though, so I still go. Do yourself a favor, walk across the road from Starbucks and discover REAL coffee. read more

this place is p big, it's nice when there is a table that is free that you can't remember a homeless person sitting in recently the bathroom has no mirror, p inconvenient i once stayed here ~8hrs and got a lot of work done -- can't remember what work i did i saw one of the baristas on the l train once and took a picture of him as apart of my blog entitled, "pictures of people who look like other people i know," because he looked like the character adam from the hit hbo original series girls, and this was in like july, and in september i began frequenting this location and recognized him but did not say anything, and attempted to take another picture, but was unsuccessful. i recounted the whole experience to a friend in the back room, which is nicer but also has a greater population of homeless people, am unsure if he heard or not. once ran into someone i met at a party that works nearby. i was picking up coffee before my dad took me to six flags. told her that and i felt misunderstood once a different barista asked me where i got a back patch that i sewed on my sleeveless denim jacket, i told him i got the shirt at a thrift store and cut it out and sewed it. it was the pabst blue ribbon logo. once i was working here for awhile and then i guess someone had booked a show in the back room and someone i went to high school with showed up and i wanted to leave but i also really wanted to do work. i felt conflicted, and like i wanted to say hi but also didn't want to i once visited the nyu location by accident because my friends did not clarify that we were meeting at the 8th ave location is within walking distance to my ex bf's dad's house but i was only there twice, and the last time i wasn't even dating him read more
