A great experience at Third Coast Provisions for their two buck shuck Tuesday. I have been dying to try this place for so long and happy I finally got to! Can't beat the Tuesday $2 oysters, with a good selection of 3 to choose from. Delicious happy hour cocktails as well - the bartender was very sweet, and I was able to swap out the dirty gin with a dirty vodka but still have the happy hour special. The oysters and shrimp were so fresh. My friends got the $6 happy hour burger and MY GOODNESS was it huge, I couldn't believe that was only $6 for everything that came on it - onion rings and doused in sauce. Quiet, small area with cozy music.

Service was stunning. The back of my chair was broken so I had to swap it out for a new chair. The Burrata Salad was a bit over dressed for me and the oysters were so tiny!! Rather disappointing. My husbands haddock was beautiful!! I didn't get a picture of it because he dived into it so quickly!!

This is a girl's dinner DREAM! On Mondays, they have a special for a Caesar salad, fries, and a martini for $25. Even though we had a reservation, it was busy and they served us at the bar. Which is fine because the whole place is cute. I thought I'd be able to finish it, no problem, but it is a surprisingly generous portion. The Caesar salad is generously dressed and the fries come with a surprisingly wonderful curry dipping sauce.

One of my top 3 restaurants of Milwaukee! They offer a seasonal rotating menu so every visit can supply something new! I love sitting at the bar especially when Nicole is working. She has exquisite service skills and remembers orders without writing anything down, which I find impressive. The cocktails are crafted spectacularly and you'll have a drink you've never had before. It's a delightful ambiance with fun music, dim lights, and great staff. They offer fantastic happy hour deals and week day specials. Definitely a must check it out spot for a great dining experience.

Third Coast Provisions is one of my new favorite girls night restaurants in downtown Milwaukee! We went on a Monday and got their Martini Monday deal- 10/10 recommend! It includes a caesar salad, fries, and an espresso martini for $25, which was such a steal! The portion sizes were large and we left feeling very content. They also have other fun daily specials that are high on my list to try including a date night special and wine Wednesdays! The restaurant was so cute and aesthetically pleasing. Our waiter was also very attentive and helpful. Overall, I loved the vibes, the food, and the atmosphere. It is high on my list to come back to!

Came here for happy hour to try the burger and it did not disappoint! It was cooked perfectly and the sauce was AMAZING. I got one of the last two burgers and was so happy about it! If you're able to get the burger, I highly recommend. I did try the oyster sliders as well, and don't need to get those again. My bartender was very kind, attentive, and knowledgeable, which was great! The overall vibe of the place is classy underwater chic. I loved their decor and plant arrangements. Super cute!

I had been wanting to try the happy hour burger for a long time. I arrived around 5:10 and they had 2 burgers left, so we ordered both of them! It is a huge burger with lots of flavors going on for an amazing price of $6. I am not a fan of seafood and I went to a seafood restaurant. I did feel the burger had a little bit of a fishy taste to it. I'm not sure why because there wasn't any seafood on it, but that was the only downfall to the burger. I did still enjoy it though.

Went here for happy hour and had a great time! Happy hour went until 6 pm and there were several drink and food specials. I definitely recommend getting there early for the burger - so tasty and only $6! The service was very friendly and the vibe of the restaurant was adorable.

Finally made it to Third Coast after 3 years in Milwaukee and it was a mistake not coming sooner. Everything was excellent, from the service to the ambiance to the quality of food and wine. My server Dominique took fantastic care of me. The ora king salmon entree was such a pleasantly unique dish, it was both light/summery and warm/comforting. The fish was cooked perfectly. Great date night spot. And as others have mentioned, their happy hour menu is pretty enticing. If I wasn't moving in 2 weeks, I'd be back in a heartbeat.

We had a company event here, so I took pictures of every dish we had. The food is good, more on the expensive side. We ate so much that I don't recall any dish that really stands out. The dish on my avoid list: cheddar bay butter, which is very strong and salty. This restaurant is great for date night or event. Ambience:5/5 Food: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Service: 5/5

This was our first time visiting Third Coast Provisions; overall, we had a positive experience. Parking is tough in that area, we ended up doing valet as we couldn't find a spot after circling a few times. The aesthetics are cozy industrial loft vibes; high ceilings that remind you of Third Ward buildings. The coastal decor was inviting and we enjoyed the ambience. We both ordered the Old Instanbul which is their spin on an old fashioned made with bourbon, cardamom-date molasses, walnut & blackstrap bitters and a phyllo rim. Honestly, this is probably one of the best spins on an old fashioned I've ever tasted!!! Highly recommend. Our waiter was very friendly and offered up several personal and popular suggestions. We went with a mix of his recommendations and enjoyed everything. We ordered the grilled oysters which were delicious, pretty pricey at $11/pair but nicely done. Next up we tried the King Salmon Crudo which was an unexpected combo of ingredients that were great on the palette. I don't generally go for raw salmon, but it was extremely high quality and not the least bit fishy. We split 2 entrees, the great lakes walleye and the roasted sea scallops. The pumpkin spaetzle was so good with the walleye, and the dish overall had a nice spice to it - we preferred this one over the scallop dish. The scallops were cooked well, but the risotto was lacking flavor. After dinner we headed downstairs to the new Loon Room speakeasy for a cocktail - that review is to come :).

Highlights 1) Great Cocktails (Loon Room) 2) Fun Atmosphere 3) Nice Service Came to the Loon Room (downstairs bar at Third Coast Provisions) on a week night recently. We didn't have a reservation but we were able to snag a table for 3 right away. The cocktail list is very fun and seasonal! I tried a drink with sweet potato gin and a toasted marshmallow. It was great! Our group also ordered a few appetizers. We did the gruyere fondue, the fish sticks, ham rolls nanas chocolate fondue for dessert. The food was great and it was fun to try a little bit of everything. Service was great throughout and the vibe is cool, dark, moody. Great for a date or after dinner drinks. I look forward to coming back!

Ask the Community - Third Coast Provisions

Can they handle a group of 10?

I think you would want to call the restaurant. Their online reservations system doesn't allow for reservations that large without calling. From a service perspective, if they take reservations for large groups, they're top notch and am sure could…

How well do they accommodate food allergies like diary and gluten?

They rely very much on their bread to accompany their dishes so I think a person with gluten issues would feel very restricted. I do think they would accompany your needs though as their service was very accommodating.

The fried things I tried (gyoza and eggrolls) were too chewy, they didn't taste bad, but the texture was off. The exception was the rangoons, they were crispy. The desserts were ok. The best was the prepackaged ice cream. I'm glad i tired l tried it. It looked like the families with kids were really enjoying it. I'm sure, as a kid, I would have too.
