On the day of the replacement, David, arrived right at the beginning of the estimated window (how often does that happen?) and completed the water heater replacement in just about an hour. While working on my water heater he was talking with another potential client and I was impressed that he was honest and upfront about his recommendation for replacing a solar/electric water heater system, and the pros/cons of what he was suggesting. They submitted an estimate, AHS approved the repair, and then IKMAR completely failed to follow through. My service request started in April 2026. More than three months later, they still had not sent anyone to complete the approved repairs. Their communication was awful, their scheduling was useless, and their lack of accountability was completely unacceptable. This was one of the most frustrating and unprofessional service experiences I have ever had. A plumbing company that cannot complete an approved toilet repair after more than three months should not be accepting service calls. IKMAR Plumbing wasted my time, ignored the urgency of the problem, and left my family without a resolution. I would strongly warn others to avoid this company.

So, I was getting a new dryer and decided it would be a good time to clean out my dryer lint vent…read more I ordered a kit with a round brush and some flexible rods that you attach to a drill and feed through the vent to clean out the lint. Sounds simple enough, right? So the flexible rods that screw together unfortunately separate while I'm using the drill and the brush and several of the rods are stuck inside the duct. I watch a YouTube video explaining how to remove it (it apparently happens frequently) by buying additional rods and attaching a "corkscrew" made from a wire hanger which you feed into the duct by hand to hopefully "grab" onto the brush and pull it out. You guessed it, that got stuck too. I called King Air Duct Cleaning and Lance (the owner) assured me that he understood the issue and he would be able to squeeze me in so I could start using my new dryer. Lance was here this morning and he was amazing. Within 20 minutes he had both of the pieces removed from the duct and all of the built-up lint cleared. Then he hooked up my new dryer, tested the airflow and assured me everything was good to go! And the cost was about 1/3 of what I thought it would be! Highly recommended!!!

He took before and after pictures of our attic. The inside temperature of our garage feels much better now. This is a small owner-operated business who knows how to take care of their customers. A couple even came by to look at the job site and make recommendations about the type of installation they thought I needed. After talking to four or five firms, Milton from Izzy's insulation reached out to me and made the most practical recommendation based on my unique situation. We ended up going with a blown in fiberglass insulation of R 38 and 13 inches. His price was the best by a few bucks, but I particularly liked his practical recommendations, and so ended up using him. He booked me out a week later and showed up exactly on time and had the job done in just a couple hours. He even provided me with before and after pictures that I can use when I submit my taxes for an energy tax credit. Very straightforward and honest service I recommend if you're looking for installation to talk to him at least. As it ended up the insulation did basically nothing to help with the temperature in my garage. If others are looking to do the same thing, I tell you to look at a combination of insulation for your ceiling, walls if needed, and the inside of your garage door these metal garage doors really radiate a lot of heat into the garage.

I originally had Sears Home Improvements being sent over by my home warranty company when my furnace stopped working. Their technicians came over 5 times over a month period without being able to figure out what's wrong and while at it keeping replacing parts after parts. Then I contacted my home warranty and they reassigned me Professors of Plumbing and A/C BRYAN, a BRILLIANT technician, came over and found the source of the problem in half an hour. The air was heating but the fan was not working. After freezing one month without the heater and having to keep on taking days off from work I got the A/C fixed. Professors of Plumbing and A/C and BRYAN WERE HONEST AND SOLVED MY PROBLEM!!!! Thank goodness there are still companies out there like Professors of Plumbing and A/C who conduct business the RIGHT way. Whatever my a/c or heating problems are in the future, I will ONLY USE. Coming home to a leaking water heater, is everyone's worst nightmare! I found it when I got home late at night, and googled for a plumber in Mesa. At 530am, I filled out a generic "looking for a plumber" form on line. My phone rang before 6am with a live voice, first apologizing for the early call, then asking if I requested a plumber. Eric showed up just before 8am in a clean white pressed shirt, ready to tackle my water heater! My garbage disposal, and one of our toilets were also being difficult, so he took care of all three. Eric was here for most of the day, working the entire time! He explained everything before he started and as he went along, so there were no surprises along the way! I run an automotive shop and sometimes need fast reliable service, I called three other companies first and could not get next day service, these guys came out next day and unclogged my drain for me, very professional and courteous. several days later my drain was clogged again and I was quite upset when they told me there was no warranty on my service because its an oily mop water drain, but they returned to check it out anyway, the technician Frank worked with me to make sure i was happy, explained to me my best options, and when we finally agreed to what was going to be done he found that there was a rag in my drain. So it was our fault all along. WOW WOW WOW - Everything about Thomas Home Services was Amazing! From the amazing lady who took my call to the service guy, Cody, who came to my house. Such a class act all the way around! It's nice to see a company follow through and do what they say they are going to do. I was told they would call me to set up an appt - and they did. I was told they would be here between 11am - 1pm and they showed up at 11am (always nice to be earlier than later). They also said they would call or text before they showed up, which they also did. Cody made me feel very well taken care of and he was super knowledgable about my A/C system. I anyone says they had a bad experience with them - the problem was most likely a grumpy homeowner. So 7 days after they did NOTHING ON FIRST VISIT , they miss the 8am -11am first then reschedule for 1-3 I stress I'm not gonna miss work all day to sit and wait for nothing , and sure enough 3:05 I get a call from the kid who works the phones I was told the owners son , and he didn't really care offered to give back the 75.00 $ I paid through my home warranty I was told by the "manager " Brian that on calls like mine they " lose money " from first American cause they only get 150$ and bla bla pretty much not interested in doing his job and fixing the small issues that I am having , this company already got cut off from first American from what he was telling me and they need to be again absolutely awful company all the poor reviews are spot on ! read more

My Christmas was saved twice in one day by Thomas techs. Big family gathering; making cookies and gas oven went on the blink. They had repaired my heat pump previously- good job- Called them; became a member of their service under contract and they came out, fixed oven problems and saved the day. Alex Thamm...fixed the oven; good job and great young guy. Then I messed up and locked the oven door so Kelley Hilleboe was sent. He saw the problem, fixed it quickly and cookies were underway. Financially raping a new widow, not right! This company charged $4,000 to replace a main line which is about $3,800 too much for the work that was completed. They also placed the main house shut off under the irrigation shut off which was not the way it was before they started the job. THEN, advised this poor woman that it would be another $400 to place the main shut off valve where it is supposed to be and was before they got there. Because of that I accepted a later offer to do an HVAC check up. Glad I did. The rate was a bargain and this tech found a fan that was running all the time due to my error, instead of on automatic as it should have been. I declined the service as it was over $1k and I am handy and purchased a spare on supply house just in case. But they have a great deal if you want spring and fall checkups for a reasonable price. For $19 a month they come twice a year for the heating in fall and cooling in spring, which also includes a weather heater flush. These are definitely worth the cost so I set it up. This price also includes priority repair and a 10% discount on parts and labor I believe if you're needing work done. If you are on aren't mechanically inclined, these guys have you covered.

I had them come back to clean it and they sealed the area that the installer forgot to do. Prior to that, there were little flakes of black ash left all over my walls from when he cut through metal. I ended up cleaning it myself. About 2 weeks ago, I saw something in my vent. It was a wad of the tape they used to tape the hole they made in the metal wall. July 2026 they had to come out because it was blowing warm air. Told me it was a surge. Sold me a surge protector for $477. The next day same thing happened. Started blowing warm air at around 2pm. Adjusted the sub cooling and cleaned the coils. Prior to this, they came out in March for my spring maintenance. Didn't they bother to clean the coils then? Also, during the spring checkup the technician didn't put his ladder at the correct angle. It slipped and made a hole in my wall which they did fix but my picture frame was broken and they didn't replace it. July 25 or 26 I called the office because I was supposed to receive the info to register the surge protector online. She said someone would call me Monday. It's now two weeks later and still no effing call. I've had it with them. I'm calling one more time to provide the info. Next, I'm going to have a different company come out to inspect the installation because I no longer trust their work.

They replaced the unit free except for over $700 labor fee since the labor was a few months past the warranty. Otherwise, very happy with them and always recommend to my neighbors.

Many attempts were made by different employees to learn why the system wouldn't cool down when programmed. The thermostat and HVAC employees thought it was the high Phoenix temps and the fact that I had a manufactured home. I was very persistent, calling often, attempting to find a "realistic" solution. Finally, the system got replaced with a much better brand. Hallelujah! It's fixed. Sometimes starting over is the best answer. Wolfgang worked right along with me all the way. There was no giving up. They're always on time and very customer oriented. Frustrating, but resolved to the highest satisfaction!

My unit was under warranty for another two years. Last Friday the unit stopped cooling, and I called and a technician came out and diagnosed the outdoor condenser fan motor had failed. The technician, Pat, said they might be able to get part on Saturday and install it. Then he proceeded to try and sell me a new unit, when I declined, the conversation turned and maybe they wouldn't be able to get the part on Saturday.... He sat across from my sister who is on oxygen and myself trying to get us to buy a new unit. He wanted to see my original warranty and kept saying how old my unit was... My sister is terminally ill and is taken care of in our home where her medical supplies are kept. I called Wolfgangs on Saturday morning and was told they would not be getting the part Saturday but on Tuesday, and it would be installed on Wednesday. I told them that my sister was ill and needed to be in her home with her medical supplies. They then said they could get the part on Monday and install Tuesday. We had to leave our home due to it being 95 degrees inside and my sister's illness. I asked to speak to a manager and was told "they all just went into a meeting." I CALLED BULLSHIT. Asked for someone to call me back and never received a call from anyone. This is terrible customer service. I called on Tuesday morning and cancelled my service call and my service agreement with them and not one question was asked, so that tells me they do not want my business. A friend called their air conditioning company and when the tech came out and said they had the part on their truck and fixed the unit. They also charged me $128 service fee which I have a service contract with them and the unit being under warranty should not have been charged. So, they are also thieves.

Technician came out for a service call, then stated that office would call to reschedule for additional service. Office never called and two days later a technician randomly shows up unscheduled without being notified. Nobody was home. Their office called a week later to send invoice but had all the incorrect information. Then sent over invoice and charged for second visit that never happened (because they did not call us to schedule the security nd appointment). Now let's talk about the office employee. Candace was extremely rude and unprofessional overall then proceeded to hang up on me during conversation. Then when we called back and asked for a supervisor was placed on hold and hung up again. Calling a third time and asking Candace why she hung up she laughed and proceeded to say "you're mistaken. The phone call was complete."Needless to say, they also overcharged for work that was not actually done. when you try to use a small family on business compared to the big name companies, this is how you're treated. There is no accountability. I highly recommend you Do Not use Steve's ultimate air unless you want Candace to hang up on you and charge for services that did not happen.
