Homesense improves on the chaotic and frenetic merchandising practices of its relatives. In other words -- you will find the aisles logically organized with more limited and better curated selections. If you are looking for that odd off price piece -- like a sofa, chair, table, love seat, carpet or new china, this place is worth a look. As with all the other TJX retail stores, you are buying "off the floor" which means that the stuff has been sat in, handled, returned, jostled about, dinged, etc. -- so inspect carefully before buying -- especially with the higher priced furniture and carpets. Many items that you'd normally find at a regular grocery or home goods store were priced two to three times higher here. I'd really only recommend buying something if it's truly unique and not easy to find elsewhere. That said, I did notice some holiday items on clearance priced as much as 90% off, which is definitely worth keeping an eye out for -- you might score a great deal if you catch the right clearance section. It's a fun place to browse and see some interesting items, but it ended up being about a ten-minute visit for me.
