Service was horrible. Waited 2 and a half hours, and had to remind the waitress multiple times about our orders. They would write it down, then say it never went through. Also, they still missed 2 orders. Had to get them to go, and they were incorrect. My friend asked for salmon with her salad (which she paid more for) and they didn't give her any. Ambiance was good. Food was delicious. Hard to pick a favorite but the blue corn shrimp was unique and delicious. Avocado bruschetta was great with tomato jam, as were the nachos. Cocktails also good!! Autumn cosmo was tasty and not too sweet. We mostly played the virtual range but would love to come back and try out more games. Relaxed but upscale atmosphere with golf themed decor (sounds tacky but actually very nicely done). We ordered a few appetizers- avocado bruschetta with tomato jam, blue corn shrimp, and nachos to share. Everything well executed, not overly heavy or salted. Nachos very well balanced with sweet corn and jalapenos, could have used more chicken. The shrimp were fantastic- meaty and well seasoned, blue corn crust was crispy but light, and yummy sauce (some kind of hummus that was delicious). Avocado bruschetta also great. Nice atmosphere but the menu is really lacking in every department other than apps. We decided to share apps and they were fine but their counterparts at nearby restaurants (bough, cuzzys, Freehouse) for the exact same things are far better. They need a major rework of the menu or they will continue to have low traffic. There is not an interesting sandwich on the menu and it's a golf place! There is a burger (copy cat of parlour? I don't know because I didn't order it) OR cold cut sandwiches. I hope they figure it out because it would be great to have another option in the north loop! Stumbled on Thr3 Jack on a quick visit to Minnie - what a great spot. My group and I had the chicken nachos, cauliflower, burger and BLT. All of us agreed that the food was impressive - fresh, flavorful, and well priced. Highly recommend. read more

Golf and full bar service, who could ask for more?! High end simulators and a great vibe. The curved screens are more private for a an upcharge. We played a couple of different courses and really enjoyed having a few drinks - a great alternative to the bars nearby in the North Loop. Just stopping in for the bar is also a great option. They have a full menu as well. read more

Newly opened. Great golf simulator screens and equipment. Nachos, mussels were great. BLT and pastrami were good. Blue Mac and cheese was heavy on the blu cheese. Fries were too salty. Strawberry shortcake and brown sugar cake were good. They only had Coke and Sprite for sodas or mixed drinks. Staff didn't seem to want to fix the problem. You guys are a bar--go buy some cans of Diet Coke at Costco! We will come back for the golf and probably eat just the apps. Hope they shop for Diet Coke read more

We came here for the first time for dinner and service and food were great. Tried the golf sim and there is plenty of game variety so the ladies joined in. My wife and friend had the salmon and loved it! Guys had the pastrami and bucatini. Loved it with the slaw and rye. Chowder was excellent. Cost was reasonable. Can't wait for warmer weather. Waitress told us the bar opens up to the patio so will a great year-round spot. read more

What a party! We had a holiday party for 18 people at Thr3 Jack last night and it was absolutely amazing! The staff was on point all evening and the food was awesome. Sam was the manager on duty and he was so accommodating, even for last minute changes. Our server Reed rocked it all night and not once did we ever feel like we had to wait for anything. Lucy was our point person before the evening that helped organize the event. She was incredibly helpful in helping us create a menu, figure out times, etc. I had some last minute changes I needed to make to the menu due to some people not being able to make the event. Although Lucy was not able to attend the event, she called ahead and arranged for me to meet with chef Robert Wohlfiel just before. He was so accommodating and provided some good recommendations on how to handle the food portions. When the food started to arrive, everything was an absolute delight! Thank you to the Thr3 Jack staff for making our event a huge hit! We will most definitely be back! read more
