It can get a little loud but it was fine for my friends and me to catch up. The service was really attentive and nice. Details: It's about $18 a drink which I feel is pretty steep for what they were serving - I've had much better at a lower price. I had the carajillo (my favorite of the two) & the banana bread (has a hint of banana flavor but not much). My friend had the thin mint (not on menu & tooooo minty). They don't have food just little croissant options. I wouldn't return because like I said I've had better for much lower & old town isn't my vibe but it seemed like a popular spot. read more

When we walked in, 7pm-ish on a Monday, and were greeted by a host who told us we could sit anywhere but asked to please order at the bar as it's a limited staff. No problem. We found a 2 top table along the wall and browsed the short menu of martinis. My date went to the bar to order. Within a few minutes the host brought out our martinis. Both were delicious. The banana bread was like a dessert, and my date enjoyed it. It's a fairly chill space with probably 10 seats at the bar and another 10 or so inside, plus a few outside bar seats. There was music playing, though I can't recall specifics as we were pretty involved in our own conversations. The chairs were very comfy and I would absolutely return. Prices are roughly $16-20 per drink. Side note for those who are caffeine sensitive like me: you can request decaf. My date didn't realize and ordered them fully caffeinated which left me awake until about 1am. read more

Tried out Three Beans Cafe randomly. We were walking by and thought we try it out, what's not to love about coffee and cocktails. I had an espresso old fashion and "The Dude" made by Kate and Nate. Both were very attentive, friendly, and what I would consider an expert at their craft- coming from an extremely particular craft cocktail consumer. Kailey, the manager came over and greeted us to check in which is rare in a busy bar. Manuela also made sure to follow-up with my wife's coffee to ensure she liked it. Overall we enjoyed the music and the atmosphere and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great time. I usually just order an Americano and then just add a splash of cream because most coffee shops over do it with the milk but THIS latte was perfectly balanced. I ordered an oatmilk latte and my friend an aperol spritz with espresso infused flavor. We both raved about our drinks and really ejoyed them. The spot is very well tailored to a fun library/coffee lounge with cool music and excellent bartending. The staff was friendly, social and helpful. It's a small spot so get there and claim your spot. She handled an unruly customer who walked in a little intoxicated with respect and grace. We met Nate who greeted us as we were sitting at the bar and handed us menus and then water. Nate was friendly, attentive, and great at reading people. My husband, who rarely deviates from a traditional old fashioned saw the menu and "The Dude" cocktail. He was undecided until Nate gave him a gentle nudge. It did not disappoint. I tried the traditional 3 beans espresso martini and it was delicious. The attention to detail of each drink and cocktail here are unmatched. We watched Nate carefully craft each drink. They were all a healthy pour and aesthetically pleasing. My friends and I went at 6pm on a Saturday night and sat a table right as a group was leaving. There is very little seating but I think that's what adds to the ambiance. It is a smaller space with limited seating and louder music, so hard to have a conversation with more than one person on a busy weekend. I had to order up at the bar because the place was so busy. I tried the thin mint off of the secret menu, and it wasn't for me. It was nicely presented, but the none of the flavors (even the espresso) came through for me.
