Super cute spot and tons of seating upstairs and down. Great place to work from with individual tables and some larger group tables downstairs. The staff is friendly and great at recommending new and fun drinks. Unfortunately the last two times I've stoped by, my iced latte was a bit burnt. Not to the extent that is wasn't drinkable, but not awesome for an 8 dollar drink. I grabbed a matcha on my first visit and that was great, I'll be sticking to their matcha on future visits. Super cute cafe! Came here to do some studying after 5 and had the best latte! It was a little loud in there just because it was SO crowded but thats just a testament to how good this café is! I'd definitely come back maybe earlier in the day in the hopes that its a little quieter so I can actually get some work done. The workers here were really nice too. I was killing time before my reservation at mawn and decided to check this place out. This place was PACKED. They have two floors which is great. Lots of people there to work/study. They have a variety of beverage options from coffee, espresso based drinks, smoothies and some food as well. They have some outdoor seating as well. I got the cardamom pistachio latte and it was delicious. Would definitely return maybe at a time it's not super packed. On Thursday's, they are open late to 10 PM which is awesome! read more

We didn't have a great experience at chapterhouse unfortunately. We stopped in to grab a quick coffee and tee before getting in line at Angelo's down the block. It was super disorganized and the barista was just chatting with a friend instead of taking orders then was rude to my wife about where to stand for the line and where to wait after. It is a small space but has no signage and the lines wouldn't grow so much if they were more efficient. Once we finally got our drinks my wife didn't enjoy hers much and the lid popped off and was just a cheaper paper one that got deformed and the lid wouldn't snap back on and just bent the cup. My tea was fine hard to mess up a bag of tea. Overall we wouldn't stop again. read more

Chapterhouse Cafe is an actual hipster cafe with great coffee at decent prices. The decor is eclectic and there are more than enough tables for the working professionals out there. Outlets are scattered around and my partner and I were thankful that someone offered us a table with an outlet when he noticed that we needed one. Service is friendly and the people are chill. Both the London Fog Latte and the Caramel Hot Chocolate are great choices. The London Fog was soothing and pleasantly aromatic and the Caramel Hot Chocolate isn't too sweet but still flavorful. I think there's a downstairs area that has more tables and a gallery but we didn't get a chance to see it. The concept of a downstairs gallery in a coffee shop is great and I would love to see it if I get a chance to come back. Overall, this is a great cafe for both working and/or hanging out. Just come outside of peak hours because this place can get busy. read more

Both the sandwich and coffee was some of the best I've ever had: cheesy and flavorful Euro Grilled Cheese, delicious chocolate-y Dominican Mocha (the Blueberry Mocha is absolutely delicious as well, I sampled my friend's drink). Chapterhouse is excellent. They have a wonderful variety of drinks that you don't always see at coffeeshops. For instance, there are so many different flavors of hot chocolate and I plan to try them all at some point. I enjoyed the peppermint to start. It is quite spacious so there is plenty of seating available whether your group is large or small. They even have games you can entertain yourself with. The baristas are very warm and welcoming. If I lived closer Chapterhouse would probably take all my money haha. read more

I absolutely love Chapterhouse! It's a nice 15 minute walk from my home and sometimes feels like a good "commute" to work so to speak. The staff here is so amazing, the smoothies always hit, and you can't beat the community vibes. This is my top recommendation for getting work done and coworking, as there's almost always ample places to sit and two levels. I would not recommend coming to Chapterhouse if you're only looking for a speedy cup of coffee. Things can often be a little slower paced here and they sometimes have only one barista taking orders and fulfilling them. That being said, everything is really delish and if you're there to work anyways it's no biggy. They do have quite a large menu. From a food perspective, you're looking at primarily pastry and bagels, with some limited sandwich options as well. Get yourself there! One of my favorite cafes in the city. read more

I have been coming here to try their various hot chocolate variations since the past several years. Yesterday was the first time I was disappointed. Had their chili chocolate which specifically mentions "spicy" in the description. It was not spicy by any definition. It did not even taste like a basic hot chocolate. It was more like bland chocolate. But I was more disappointed on the very stinky whipped cream that was added to my hot chocolate. It was definitely whipped cream gone bad. I have to mention that my husband got the black and tan which is a peanut butter and hazelnut hot chocolate and it was much better than mine but definitely not as good as my previous experience. I have noticed a change in their baristas (albeit friendly) so likely that's the reason. read more

You could tell they make an effort to remember customers and often converse with regulars. AMBIANCE There are two levels for seating, one on the same floor as the register and the second a floor below with ample seating and sunlight. Plenty of outlets are available as well. A lot of people come here to work/study, and there's period of silence and bustle. PARKING Paid street parking is available at a limited capacity. BATHROOM The bathroom is clean and tidy. Chapterhouse is a lovely coffee shop for multiple occasions. Whether you plan on grabbing a latte with friends or want to sit down with your laptop and get some work done, you'll be challenged to find a better space in the Bella Vista area. Chapterhouse always has friendly service and is relatively quick for how busy it is. My go to drink is the blended blackberry Dominican mocha. No drinks hits quite as hard on a hot day. Almost every time I have gotten it, it has come out blended to perfection... though there were 2 times it came out icier than preferred. Chapterhouse does have their fair share of latte selections- including more flavors than the standard coffee shop. My personal favorites are the peanut butter latte and apple butter chai latte (seasonal). Though, like the blended blackberry Dominican, the lattes have been a little inconsistent- specifically with their sweetness. Sometimes Chapterhouse will make a drink with a standard sweetness and it will be perfect, but other times you might be overwhelmed with the sweetness of a drink. I do wholeheartedly intend to return many more times to Chapterhouse, though I will definitely indicate not to make my latte too sweet. read more

It's a super spacious area, with a ton of seating well spaced out across multiple rooms and floors. I came upon Chapterhouse during a stroll down off of South Street and it looked inviting from the outside, so I went in. Iced tea soda was something new to me. I got the orange nectar (rooibus tea and orange) and really enjoyed it. The tomato mozzarella sandwich was good too. Maybe heat it a little longer since the middle was still a bit cool. The bread was might and warm though. Friendliest and liveliest service. Love it!
