Went for dinner 2 days after they opened. Beautiful venue, server was friendly, unfortunately the food was lacking, especially considering the prices. I got the lobster ravioli, which was $36, there was ZERO lobster to be found and no sides were included. Again, it was $36. My BF went with the fish and chips which had decent flavor but was very greasy. I agree with other reviewers that the ambiance is odd. It is marketed as a gastro pub, but feels like a night club with TVs everywhere. I feel like the TVs were an afterthought. We dined on a Saturday night with a party of 6. Our reservation was honored on time and we were seated immediately upon arrival. The restaurant was very crowded and the noise level was high. Jake was our server. I was interested in the ribs. The price was $22.00 which I thought very reasonable for a rack of ribs. To make sure, I asked Jake if the ribs were a full rack or half rack. He told me quickly it was a full rack. Well the entrees arrived except for my ribs. Finally after another 5 minutes my ribs arrived. You can imagine my surprise when I saw the portion was ONLY 4 RIBS!!! Certainly not a full rack, but not even a half rack. 4 bones is not an entree size. That's an appetizer size! This was very disappointing. I called Jake over to ask if this portion was correct. I reminded him that he said it was a full rack. Either he does not know how many ribs constitute a rack, he didn't want to say exactly how many ribs were in the order or he just plain didn't tell the truth. I said there should be more ribs and to please go to the kitchen and speak with the line cooks. Jake never returned. Needless to say this was very disappointing and not good value for the price. On another note, the southern fried chicken and the salmon salad were very good. So I would say there was good and bad. We are not sure if we are returning as there are other fine restaurants in Canton which have excellent food, good service and value for the price being charged. read more

Ok, we went to dinner and this restaurant was mediocre at best! We wanted to be at the Marietta square to enjoy the Christmas season . As soon as we walked up to the front of the restaurant it looked like a fast food takeout place. Neon sign (maybe it's a work in progress bc they just opened though). As we approached the entrance there was a small bar at the front where we were greeted by the hostess. (Nice) We then walked to the back room, which was enormous. Loved the booth tables and the bar back there was very nice! Waaay too many TVs. It was super distracting. The ambiance was confusing. It was dark and elegant but the TVs cheapened the vibe. The food was rated a 7. The calamari app was basically shredded fried pieces. Barely any calamari pieces. Bizarre. Salmon salad was good. Fried chicken was great. The price is way too expensive. Not worth it. About 10%-15% higher than it should be honestly. read more

When this place opened we had a great experience we had fish and chips they were really good I came last Monday day before Christmas Eve with my office for our Christmas lunch I had meat loaf with green beans and French fries the meat loaf was okay the fries were different to what I had at previous visits they were not nice shoe string some were very hard and dried the green beans were cold and hard the server did bring me fresh ones . I had already booked the day after Christmas to bring my family Seven of us which is today I will not be going back my son and I had the grouper picanti which was pan seared grouper with a wine lemon sauce over linguine the grouper was so hard and dried and tasted fishy I did complain and exchanged it for fish and chips the haddock was much nicer but the fries not that good I will not be coming back. read more

First, let me say that I am not one that usually leaves reviews for restaurants. However, living close to the Marietta Square and really wanting some decent, casual restaurants to go to, means a lot to many folks who live in this area. This was my second time having dinner at this restaurant. The first time, I ordered the Asian chicken salad and it was good. Not great, but good. The service was also decent. Last Thursday evening my girlfriend and I decided to go there for dinner. She had never been there and I mentioned my first experience with them and said they were decent. We were promptly seated, and met by our waitress, and she took our drink orders. During this time, we noticed that she had taken a little fall - nothing serious But still, my girlfriend asked her if she was OKay. The waitress replied that she was just fine, but also appeared a bit embarrassed that she had inquired. We both really like fried calamari so we ordered it as an appetizer. Then, for the entrée, we ordered the fried shrimp, which was served with coleslaw and french fries. We both took a big bite of the calamari, and at the same time, realized that it had an extremely, extremely fishy taste! When the waitress came up and asked us if we were enjoying our calamari, we both stated that it was actually very bad. It was also served with shaved and deep, fried carrots, and onions of which there appeared to be more of than calamari. The waitress looked at us and very curtly said "I will let my manager know." I have eaten calamari in many restaurants in my life, and this truly was the worst representation of calamari that I had ever tasted. Then, our entrée came out let me say that the french fries were excellent. However, the coleslaw tasted like someone had mixed cabbage, onion, and mayonnaise together. And that was it - not even salt or pepper in it. The fried shrimp were mediocre. I could've bought packaged frozen shrimp from Trader Joe's and they would've tasted better. When we asked for our check, we noticed they had taken the calamari off and did not charge us. My friend stated that we did not complain because we didn't want to pay for it, but because we wanted them to know that either there was something wrong with it, or it really and truly tasted bad. Meanwhile, let me just say that the service we were receiving from the waitress was very cold and uninvolved. After we made the statement about not paying for the calamari, she said she would get her manager. When he came to our table, we explain to him how we felt, and that we had no problem paying for it. He looked at both of us, and said," well, the people over there, ordered the calamari and didn't complain!" We both looked at him with a bit of a shocked expression, because I can't believe a manager would actually say that to a customer. It is very clear that this restaurant needs to train their staff better. To say the least, we won't be going back there anytime soon. It was an extremely disappointing evening out for dinner. Regarding the ambience, It is obvious that a lot of money was spent to renovate the space and all in all it appears very nice, and the seats are very pleasant and comfortable. However, I stopped counting at 14 huge screen, TVs and I understand The concept of wanting to put TVs in a restaurant, but 14 different screens covering the walls is just a little too much. I am still hopeful that this restaurant is successful and wish them the best. We just won't be going back there anytime soon. read more

The food was AMAZING. The venue itself is beautiful. The service was great. BUT the vibes were off for such a cool place! This place has so much potential! The size of the restaurant and food was amazing. The size of the TVs were awesome & The bar was beautiful. It was just that the music was quiet and when we walked in, It sounded like we walked into a nursing home. They really need to work on making the volume of the music higher And they need to do something about having the volume of some of the games from the TVs on. I think once the liveliness of the place can be amplified with those two things this place could be a really huge hit for the Marietta area. read more

Everything is overpriced and they charge a CC Fee on top of it. I would think that would have been baked into my $21 burger... This place is the size of a Buffalo Wild Wings and only has two unisex single stall restrooms, which constantly had a line. If you are going to watch several games at a time this place isn't bad but is extremely dark for some reason. Would not recommend. read more

Gosh we want to love this place. The buildout was great and the square needs more great restaurants but we left last night after an easy $100+ dinner for 2 and wish we had stayed home. The cost is fair if it was actually decent food but the "shoestring potatoes" on top of the salad were crumbled potato chips. My husbands chicken sandwich was overloaded with cheese and barbecue and the size of the chicken was embarrassing. We were so bummed as the 1st time we came we had drinks and burgers and thought it was a neat enough ambiance to come back again. We just dont get how places in Marietta can continue to offer mediocre food for Buckhead prices. We would rather drive and love the meal! read more

Delicious brunch and bottomless mimosas! The shrimp and grits and chicken and waffles were both very good.

The best meatloaf. And fish & chips are good. The sautéed spinach is very good and the lemon meringue cocktail is really outstanding.

This place is new, and was open christmas Eve. It has been completely renovated, and it looks awesome inside. They have a great setup and TV's all over the place. Potential issue $$$$, cheese curds good but nothing special $16.00. Pricing is comparable to Mack's and other "Higher End" restaurants, but if you're going to head here to watch a game, it is going to be costly. Also, and I guess this is everywhere. If you are looking to go to a sports bar to watch sports, this may not be the place for you. We went on the night of the wildcard nfl games and when we arrived, the game was on the big screen. The other tvs had on tennis (a rerun), two low level bball games and another channel that wasn't playing sports at all. I asked the waitress if it was possible to turn the tv to the Auburn bball game and she said " we were told to tell everyone that whatever was on had to stay". I asked to have the manager please come by the table. When I asked him if it was possible to turn on the SEC game, he became very irritated and advised me that he didn't have time to change the channels and that he would have to have people get up and move in order to change the channel. Well, that's just ridiculous!! You are in the middle of Cobb county and you can't turn it to an SEC game. Then, when the 2nd wildcard game came on (Mia vs KC), they had no way to play it. Instead, they had on Jeopardy!! Seriously. The service was lovely and the food was fine but when we go to a sports bar, we expect to see sports that we care about. Sorry, can't recommend the Night Manager on Wed May 29th. We arrived for an after dinner drink - 10 minutes until closing. We understood the need to have a quick drink. Night Manager didn't even greet us with a "Hello" - only that we needed to leave in 10 min., and stating that all the restaurants close at 9pm (which is not true). Meg, the bartender, was gracious, great service from her. I understand closing time - I managed restaurants. When we left, the night manager was watching the TV soccer game while the rest of the staff was cleaning the restaurant. We only stayed 10 min past closing. Again I get the need to clear out the restaurant - however, when we left, he didn't even turn to say thank you or have a good evening. I really feel sorry for the staff. We have enjoyed lunch there several times- the menu is truly very good.. Staff service is excellent! - except for this night manager. read more
