A wonderful cafe adored by locals and a must-visit for anyone who's passing through the Burbank area. This cafe is run by a family of wonderful, empowering women who support their community and their customers with engaging events and delicious coffee. When I first moved to Burbank I was given a warm welcome by the ladies behind the counter and since then I'm happy to be a regular. Their drinks are on the more expensive side compared to larger corporate chains, but the taste and quality well makes up for the expense. They have a comfortable selection of bakery items, a diverse drink menu for all kinds of pallets, and signature lattes that hit the spot. This location offers a free library where customers can take a book and leave a book, reading in the shop or taking home, with an honor code of being expected to keep said book in good shape and to return it eventually. Their book vending machine is a huge hit, the interior is beautiful and relaxing and their location has a restroom. On the weekends they invite other small sellers, clothing entrepreneurs, bread makers, up-in-coming pottery shops, and more to use their store as a venue to expand their business. The Three Sisters' dedication to their community goes as far as sharing their success, which I admire! The cons of this location however, are that I firmly believe they've outgrown their space. Lines often form out of the cafe regularly and onto the street. It can take quite some time to wait when this happens. When they have sellers inside too--it becomes difficult to move it's so crowded. There's often not enough tables and chairs to go around, and it's uncomfortable to wait outside when it's sunny with zero shade or seats. While I love the shop encouraging people to stay and do their work, or relax, the limited seating capacity makes it so many customers are often left standing. I hope Three Sisters considers moving to a larger space, adapting outdoor seating to the experience, or grows their business enough to comfortably open multiple locations in the future to give their dedicated consumers and neighbors more space to enjoy their products.

When we first walked in I was not ready to order, but my little one was haha. The cashier was very patient with helping me order something for her that doesn't have so much caffeine. He was so patient in general when I did not know what to order being it was my first time there. I tried their Hawaiian Latte and it was AMAZING! My friend got their mango sticky rice matcha which was also super good and not too sweet at all. The place seems nice to work from there if you wfh but it does seem to get a little loud if it is busy.

Stopped by a few weeks ago, on a Monday morning with my cousin for a much needed caffeine boost. The place was busy. Every table inside and out was taken. We loved the book vending machine in there. My cousin couldn't resist and grabbed a book from it. I was a little groggy, so I went for something strong. Opted for the Grizzly Latte but didn't want the full 4 shots. The barista was super helpful and recommended the Mini Grizzly (3 shots). It hit the spot, bold espresso with just the right hint of sweetness. I also snagged two delicious cookies to share with my son, which vanished in under 10 minutes. My cousin got a strawberry matcha and really enjoyed it too. Greatl spot with friendly service. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Burbank.

I've been coming to this place for quite awhile now! I live in the area and would come more often if I could!!! The owner and staff are always so friendly and helpful when I come in! I can't have dairy and staff have always been SO kind in checking syrups for me and verifying menu items for me. I like to try as much as I can. The strawberry matcha is always a win and I love the 3 sisters latte. With their current banana menu, they have a vegan syrup option that is SO good! I love that if I bring my dogs in, they have dog treats at the register. It's a nice incentive for my dogs and I love that it's a dog treat and not just whipped cream. Overall, the vibes in the place are immaculate and the drinks are great! I prefer coming here to coming to a chain and I love how often they host craft events and small vendors (usually on weekends). There are even board games for people and plenty of outlets. Right now, another cool offering is the book vending machine from Bespelled Books. So cool! I'm here most weekends and if I have a day off from work and wouldn't change a thing. I love the facility and the drinks and the staff and owner!

Their Irishman drink was delicious! The mocha tasted darker than most places which I loved. Definitely a sweet drink; I added an extra shot of espresso and it was still sweet but delicious. My husband got a cortado and the coffee they use is more on the bitter side so it's great in drinks but not my preference for something like a cortado. Would comeback and get their iced mocha again

Three Sisters Coffee in Burbank is such a charming little gem. I grabbed an iced matcha with coconut milk, and it was delicious without being too sweet. The whole place has a cozy vibe. The staff was genuinely kind. My favorite part? They actually have a book vending machine! Definitely somewhere I'd go back to grab matcha and maybe a new book.

I had the Twilight Bloom Latte which is rosemary, sage and lavender syrup. It's a drink I typically wouldn't get so that's why I ordered it. However, when I had it I wasn't crazy over it. I know I ordered the wrong drink because while I was looking at the menu there were a few other thinks that sounded appealing. I'm going to come back here and try something else. I love they have games, books with indoor and outdoor seating.

Walked over to this coffee shop and had no idea it was so popular! The line was to the door! Once inside, we looked back and the line was even longer! The inside is cute, they had some vendors sampling some items and a vending machine with fantasy books in it which was unique and fun! The staff were cheerful! They have a great menu and I ended up getting the Grizzly Latte and it was divine! Highly recommend!

I have nothing but praise for this local, woman owned coffee shop. Everyone is incredibly kind and welcoming. The owner, Kristy, is often there and she has made a point to get to know all of regulars. The space is clean and lovely. The drinks are delicious and their seasonal specials are always amazing. Also, they don't ever have any off days. The quality of their drinks is consistently excellent. Their pastries are fresh and delicious. They have a vending machine filled with books as well as a selection of books you can borrow. If you visit on your way to work, like I often do, there may be a line but don't be discouraged. The line moves quickly and the service is speedy! I am not a Burbank resident but I literally go out of my way to stop here most days of the week because it's my favorite coffee shop.

I came here on a Friday around lunch time to grab a latte during a study break. The cafe is located on a slightly less busy part of Magnolia Blvd in Burbank and while free street parking is theoretically available on Magnolia, you'll have better luck finding free street parking on the side street Reese right in front of the cafe. There are several tables inside for seating and I saw several people on laptops studying / working and there is no outside seating available. I ended up trying out a drink from the summer seasonal menu. There was no line and I got my drink in under 5 mins. The cashier and barista were both friendly and polite. Mango Sticky Rice Matcha iced latte (w/ almond milk) 3.5/5, ok I struggled with rating this. Yes; the matcha is strong, although with the addition of the cold foam + mango syrup you will not taste it to be strong while drinking, you will have the caffeine effect later, however. Yes; there is mango in this, although it is a thick mango syrup that lies at the bottom of the drink and needs to be mixed into the drink with a straw or other utensil, otherwise you will not taste the mango after the cold foam is completed. No; there is no physical sticky rice in this or traces of coconut that I could taste (much to my disappointment). I would recommend just opting for a plain matcha latte than getting this due to all the aforementioned reasons.

It's the name that caught my eye. Decided to give it a try. Upon arriving there was a display of baked goods, I passed on those. My sister and I played it safe by ordering the drip. Disappointed that they didn't have creamer and sugar out. We had to ask to have some added. The barista seemed disturbed that we asked. Personality is everything, "Three Sisters." Coffee was mediocre .... Sad to say we will not be returning. Cute shop tho. "Your response (Three Sisters)to my post speaks miles." Local neighborhood coffee shop, recently opened, but you can hardly tell given the service and the clientele they already have of locals. No joke, random Thursday morning, they are completely packed. No seat in the house and it's spacious in here versus other local coffee shops. However, it was worth the wait as the Three Sisters Latte was just pure bliss. Ordered mine with oat milk and It was perfect as is. Not to hot you burn your tongue and not boring that you needed to add sugar to it. It hit the spot and made me a fan of lattes again. Very sweet new coffee place in Burbank. Nicely decorated with a comfortable outside patio. Very nice customer service, and I always prefer supporting a small local business instead of a large chain. My only suggestion for improvement would be to add artisanal baked goods instead of the ones they currently have. I've tried the current selection in the case, and they are very average. There are so many local artisanal baked goods locally, I'd love if they upped their game on that end. Otherwise, lovely place! read more

Great service, friendly lovely staff, and the coffee is some of the best in burbank. I had the dirty mocha (I'm not sure what they call it) and fell in love. They have some nice seating inside, but the back patio is like a little quiet oasis in the middle of Burbank. Love it. read more

Three sisters coffee & tea is one of my new favorite places in Burbank. Came here for the first time as it was recently opened. This weekend was the first weekend it was open. Everyone was extremely friendly and super welcoming with great customer service. My two year old enjoyed the cream cheese muffin as did we. We enjoyed two iced vanilla lattes, mine extra sweet. I like to rate my places from 1 to 10. 1 through 3 - will never comeback 4 through 5.8 - will come back if someone I'm with wants to try the spot 5.9 though 7.0 -will come back 7.1 through 9.9 will make an effort to come back and I would recommend the spot 10.0 is the best place! (Haven't had a 10 because there is always a better place out there. My rating for this place is 8.1 (Will you come back? Definitely adding this place to my coffee rotation) My Yelp rating is regarding the service, the experience and the quality of food or beverage. read more

Three sisters is an amazing cafe. The coffee is great. Very strong exactly how I like it. The place could use a couple more chairs/ seating, especially since they do get pretty packed during peak hours. I take my dog there often and they always offer a little treat. We came to this little gem and loved it. So happy to have discovered this new coffee shop. Great vibe and so well decorated!! The staff was incredibly friendly and quick to make the drinks. The vanilla latte I ordered was perfect. It wasn't too sweet or bitter. It was a little busy when we got there and worth the wait. So happy to see a local shop thriving. So I wanted to give an update as ive been coming as a regular customer and because my last review was more focused on the ambiance, and service. This time its more on the coffee and tea Coffee-Im not a huge coffee drinker, to me im more about having things straight and this goes double for my tea. But due to the fact many times I need a boost when I know energy drinks aren't always a good option due to them messing up my neurodevelopmental disorders and my diabetes coffee is healthier, but due to my taste buds not being geared for that I go for something like a latte. but HOLY CRAP what a difference 3 sisters is, I can actually taste the coffee and all the ingredients in it are a great balance. as Ken Griffey Jr. would say " its like a party in my mouth and everyone is invited same with their regular brews and their espresso. Tea- many know me as a HUGE drinker of tea, as a member of the Los Angeles tea club (a club which focuses on single origin teas with no mixes etc. basically we are tea sommeliers ) Im quite finicky on it, especially when it comes to matcha which I am VERY picky on. Kristy, Danielle Lily, Gavin and the other baristas (I apologize for forgetting their names) know this and have never failed me on making an amazing brew. like their coffee their matcha is a good balance of sweet and grassy and I USALLY HAATTE my tea mixed with anything especially with lemonade because lemonade usually ruins everything as It overpowers much. But their their peach matcha lemonade... holy crap, one sip and Prince himself came back from the dead, slapped me in the face grabbed me and we danced while he sang Kiss to me then he caressed me gently. So take it from me, a picky grumpy old man they know what they are doing and do it well. I am looking forward to trying their other teas and hope they do expand their tea selection for I know they will prepare it amazingly as they do the others. other drinks I highly recommend- their vitalitea reminds me of the flaming homer from the Simpsons VERY good! read more

my matcha was very watered down and not to mention it made my stomach hurt severely the rest of the day which has never happened before and the customer service is extremely poor. i don't think i will ever visit again as i was clearly ignored by the barista and the cashier was also rude too. read more

Such dry customer service. You can tell from the owners face she just wants you to order and get out of her coffee shop. I had ordered ham and cheese croissant and once the little oven was done heating it up it was left in there until someone else ordered a croissant and had to switch them out. My croissant wasn't even warm and honestly stale. I got it at the same time as my drink order. The coffee and matcha is so unflavorful unless you get heaps of syrup in it. They spend more money on milk than quality ingredients because that's all they're putting in their drinks with maybe an ounce of espresso or matcha. I'm never one to say this but I'd rather get Starbucks over Three Sisters. Had to wait like half an hour during a rush. Half an hour for a tiny cup of matcha? You're kidding right. This is the spot! If you like coffee, tea, baked goods and amazing people. Everyone who works here is so kind, patient and they make an amazing cup of coffee. They have a great menu with lots of options. Its a family owned establishment and really enhances the Burbank area and its community. They are constantly partnering and getting involved with other small businesses which is awesome. The shop is always so clean, good calming music and places to sit inside and outside. I don't know what I was expecting but this was not it. I ordered the matcha with banana foam, it tasted nothing close to banana. What I tasted was a whole bunch of cinnamon, there was no sweetener even tho I had selected it and if you drink matcha often, you know you cannot enjoy it without some sort of sweetener. And I had it postmated it to me. The order does not come in a bag or any kind of protection. After Covid almost every business seals orders in a bag. The driver was just holding it in his hand. Great new coffee shop. I don't go out for coffee all that often. But when I do I support small. I really like their options for seating arrangements. It's a nice spot to study or get some work done. Ok now for the coffee and service. The espresso was great. The flavor really came through the different drinks I had. I had and Irish coffee and the wake the fudge up. Both really great drinks and not overly sugary. As a Burbank local I appreciate all the great choices. I gotta try out the patio next time. read more

They use fresh, high-quality ingredients, making them the perfect complement to your cup of joe. As a matter of fact, I got myself five pastries in one visit. If you're new to Three Sisters, ask the baristas for recommendations based on your preferences. They're knowledgeable and passionate about coffee and will help you find the perfect cup to suit your taste buds. Additionally, they offer a loyalty program and online ordering for a convenient coffee experience. Although they offer a lot of inside seating, I prefer to sit outside at the back patio surrounded by the plants and a water fountain. read more

Went to this place specifically for specialty coffee. Upon arrival I noticed the employees not greeting me or my friend, the girl on register did her job. I could over hear one of the blonde baristas with a septum ring talking shit about someone's outfit choice out loud and instantly gave me a nasty vibe. I received my drink, which was an Irish cream latte. They did not put the "cream" on the latte, which I've ordered before...therefore I know it comes with a cream top. Didn't make a fuzz because as a company I expect their baristas to make drinks up to standard especially when you're paying a little more. I say this a barista myself, safe to say I will never be coming back. Maybe if the employees were actually respectful, considerate and actually locked in (focused) when making a drink I'd reconsider? But it speaks to how careless they are when preparing drinks. If you're in the area there's plenty of better coffee shops with better overall ambiance and delicious coffee. read more

We were drawn in during a leisurely walk by my friend's constant compliments about Three Sisters Coffee & Tea, and it was a delightful experience. With so many options, the barista's knowledge and skill helped me sort through the wide range of tastes in their assortment of iced teas. Not only were the beverages excellent, but the kind barista also struck up a nice and interesting chat. Oh my I love this perfect little women owned coffee place. It is beautifully decorated and it's so comfortable to be there with friends. The people who work there are always so nice and the owner is such a fun loving person. I always order the mocha or one of their specials and the drinks are always delicious. They also have good snacks and I love their chocolate croissant and the spinach croissant. When I go there it makes my day. It has such a great vibe and there's usually a good laugh to be had. read more

Called 3 times around 4pm to check if open. No answer. Took a chance and drove up. Place was open but parking sucks. Walked in, felt like a sauna. No air, no circulation, just heat. Ordered a large grizzly latte and a small three sisters latte to go. Small one came with a crooked lid leaking already. Figured it was fine. Nope. Hit the road, coffee spilling everywhere, ruined my car. Cheap lid, poor quality. Other drink survived but still. Whole vibe off from the start. Big letdown. read more

Gorgeous space with an exceptional staff and hand crafted specialty drinks, is just the perfect combination for the perfect coffee shop. These guys know what they're doing. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel right at home.
