This place seems really cute. I won't put it at the top of my list to return for one reason. There was a lady working the coffee bar and another lady walking around sweeping and cleaning up. Inexplicably when my BF politely asked her where the silverware was she gave him a nasty glare. Like we are talking insane street lunatic who might lunge at you glare. We just walked in quietly and ordered coffee and wanted to sit and eat our food. There is nothing we could have done to deserve that. Though crowded, several people were working on their laptops inside throughout the day. Noise volume isn't too bad. ・Staff was very friendly & personable. ・There's a cute bookcase with games, plus a "take one, leave one" little free library of sorts (signage says you can bring books home to finish?!). ・A local florist also maintains and replenishes some cute flower bouquet gift thingies you can grab next to the register. *Drinks/Food*: ・Echoing previous reviews, the taste of their drinks varies... but I thoroughly enjoyed the Three Sisters Latte (and not as much the Strawberry Matcha). ・There's no food menu online, but they do have pastries. We tried a Valentines special: the raspberry chocolate was delicious!! Their pastries are also worth grabbing, not only for the size but the flavors! I'm not sure if they make them in house or outsource them (I believe the latter) but they were divine!! They have a shelf dedicated to "Free Little Library" which made my day! We happened to go on a Saturday when they were hosting small business vendors for a special community day! Not to mention, this location has ample seating!! A few tables out front, many inside, and outside on a beautiful back patio!!!!! You will not be wanting for a place to sit and enjoy your drink. As with any place on Magnolia, the neighborhood is beautiful and makes for a nice walk down residential side streets or Magnolia itself! We have many favorite locations we frequent along this street: (Tansy: an AMAZING plant store, World Empanadas, Thrift Shops, Porto's and more!) Because of its location - you can find parking almost anywhere with a short walk! The staff are friendly and serve you with a smile! First: the coffee is delicious, I've suffered through so many poor tasting coffees to support the indie coffee shops in Burbank and this is the first place that I can honestly say tastes better than Starbucks (my usual fav). Came in this week in the afternoon for the first time with my dog and right away I got a sense for the coziness of the space, I really enjoyed the sitting nook near the door as I waited for my drinks especially since I get anxious in new places. Customer service was great, I wish I would have gotten the name of the staff member taking the orders (short hair and has a cat) because she was so friendly and attentive. Ordered the lavender matcha with vanilla cream topper and banana matcha with strawberry and banana cream topper both the drinks were excellent not to sweat and despite all the flavorings we could still taste the matcha. All the flavors complemented the matcha very well and no clumpy matcha since they hand whisk the matcha for each order. My pup also loved the dog treats available by the register. I will admit that the pricing is on the higher end so this will be a once in a while treat. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and the drinks here, I am excited to try their coffee next. read more

This is one of those places that has the veneer of a trendy, high quality coffee shop... but unfortunately, beyond the plastic plant wall and Edison bulb chandelier, these folks just serve sub-par coffee. The art of steaming milk is absolutely lost on the barista who slapped together my latte. The espresso shot wasn't pulled properly, resulting in a bitter and burnt tasting drink. The drink was also *PIPING* hot. All signs that they just don't know what they're doing. At best, they're serving Starbucks quality drinks (not a compliment). The info's out there... with just a little effort, they could learn to make good tasting drinks. But I won't be coming back to see if they figure it out. read more
