I have never once been disappointed with a dish, and I love trying new dishes on their menu. The staff is awesome, and the place has a cool astehtic vibe. I highly recommend, just know that it is a bit pricey but the experience is totally worth it. P.S. they give you palate cleaners snack in between courses for free. I had hibiscus herbal tea and and an adorable mini waffle cone, filled with crème fraîche, and topped with caviar (honestly never thought I'd like caviar before trying out this place for the first time).

We came here last night (08/15) as a group of 7 to celebrate a friend's birthday, and…read moreunfortunately, the service from our server, Julia, really brought down the entire experience. It took about 20-30 minutes for her to come back and take our food order after we placed our initial drink orders with her. Throughout the dinner, her demeanor felt very passive aggressive, and there were several moments where we felt like we were being given attitude despite everyone in our group being polite. My friend asked for extra olives with his martini and she responded with a rude "Really?" while making a face. It was such an unnecessary reaction to a totally simple and normal request. She also recommended that we order family style, which we followed, but the pacing between courses was extremely slow. We waited around 30+ minutes between our pasta and our protein entrees. For a restaurant that specifically recommends family style dining, the courses should be paced more appropriately so the table isn't sitting around waiting for the next round of food. The birthday cake situation was also frustrating. We had given our cake to the hostess when we arrived, but I guess our server was never notified of that. When I asked about a candle, she said she would bring it out with the birthday dessert, but brought out the restaurant's dessert instead. When she realized we had our own cake, she immediately took the bill back and said she needed to add the cake fee. The issue with that was we weren't asking them to cut or plate the cake. We just wanted to sing Happy Birthday, then have it boxed back up. She had assumed we wanted the cake service without actually asking us, and when we clarified, her response was, "Well, that's why I asked earlier," even though she hadn't actually asked us. None of us gave her a hard time or were anything but polite throughout the evening, which made the repeated attitude especially disappointing. The food wasn't terrible and the drinks were great, the restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, but spending around $900, which included a 20% automatic gratuity, you'd expect the service to match the price point, even though service should always be good regardless. Unfortunately, the poor service really overshadowed what was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner for my friend and left all of us with a bad taste in our mouths.

It was the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air and made for a really relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant has a great vibe overall, especially if you're looking for an outdoor brunch. (Have not been inside) I ordered the steak chilaquiles, and I'd give them a 8.5/10. The flavors were really good, the sauce was delicious, and I liked the addition of the eggs, avocado, and queso. My only complaint was the steak. I ordered it medium rare, but it came out medium well, a bit dry and was tougher than expected, making it difficult to cut. It was still tasty--just not cooked quite the way I was hoping. The mimosas were good too, a great value. Nothing that really stood out as amazing, but definitely nothing bad about them either--they got the job done. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server Rebecca was attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly quick throughout the meal. They checked in at the right times, answered our questions confidently, and made us feel well taken care of without ever being overbearing. Overall, I'd come back, especially to sit on the patio again. With a more tender steak, this meal would've easily been an 8.5 or 9 out of 10!! :)

That's blatant racism, and it happened while I was a paying customer. Staff did nothing to address it in the moment. Understandably upset and shaken, I had too much to drink afterward. My family came and drove me home safely. Rather than addressing what actually happened -- a customer being racially harassed on their premises -- management's response was to ban me, not the person who harassed me. If a business allows this kind of harassment to go unaddressed and then punishes the target of it for reacting, that's a real problem, not a minor service issue. This is the San Francisco Bay Area. We should expect better than this. Avoid this place if you don't want to find out how they'll treat you when something like this happens to you.

I thought some dishes were great; the wagyu burger was decadent. Other dishes were not that special. The scallops didn't taste too fresh (likely frozen) and combining them with hummus didn't quite work. The side of bread was practically insulting. $5 for stale table bread was a surprise. Dishes arrived very late; we were nearly forgotten when we tried to order, and then after ordering, we waited 40 minutes between appetizers and the main course. Not because they were cooking it; they just forgot we were there and when they brought out the dishes, the scallops were no longer just-cooked, and the burger had been sitting for a bit. No apology, just an acknowledgment it was late, and no discount (not even on the stale bread). They offered us wine, we said we didn't drink, and they just moved on. I debated a lot about how to review this. It's my personal experience that was disappointing, and I'm glad some reviews are very upbeat. But there's a handful of reviews noting frustrating delays... and that needs to be worked on.

Went here on a Saturday night with a girlfriend and we ordered: Steak Fries, Bucatini Pasta, Clams, Tomato & Cheese Dip (AMAZING! ) In fact, every single dish was completely on point. You normally have to order food and drinks at the bar, but because the entire interior was so packed with people waiting for tables and pre-dinner drinks, the host kindly offered to help us at our table. The catch? She could only take our food order and not the drinks. It's definitely a bit disorderly, but the incredible food almost makes up for the logistical mess!

The staff were really nice and gave great recommendations for our group who were beginner wine drinkers. Super cool vibe inside, they even have a disco ball and cute decor. My expectations were already low as I'm not usually into tapas style (aka small portion but expensive and possibly mediocre food) but boy was I wrong. All of the food that we ordered was genuinely so good. I still think about the BUCATINI (tom yum butter, lime, garlic and basil) and would solely come back for that dish. The portion sizes were on the smaller side but it is tapas, we had a group of 8 hungry people so that was on our part lol Overall, would recommend and come back to try some of their other dishes and wine! super cute for date night

The cauliflower had a nice crunch, and the batter was well-seasoned and flavorful. Grilled Octopus was excellent as always, my favorite dishes here. Lamb Osso Bucco was served with orzo rice, peas, morels. Lamb was tender and well-seasoned. Tamarind Glazed Salmon served with kale and red quinoa. The salmon itself was good, but I don't think the quinoa was a good match with the dish. The flatbread was the most disliked item we had. It was a bit bland and too doughy. We enjoyed the Peyrassol Rosé (France 2025), which was not only nice to see but also nice to drink. Love the smooth texture and taste. Vanilla Crème Brûlée was enjoyable, the shortbread cookie was somewhat bland. Chocolate Date Cake was rich and quite sweet. Even we shared it among 3-4 people, we still couldn't finish it. Food was overall good but the server oversold everything. The taste and balance was decent but pricing was 100% unjustified. Review of our table's order - excluding the obvious lack of value and weird plating choices: - mezze dips: skip. rip off. - cauliflower: maybe the best dish of the meal - octopus: sauce was unnecessary and portion size was terrible - caesar salad: not good - lamb shank: tender but the sides were trash - branzino: parts tasted not fully cooked. - lamb chops: DRY. Hammered the protein and drenched in oil...? Do not get. - chicken: large portion and maybe the best bang for buck when feeding large parties. it was ok. No wonder they closed shortly after. I get the high rent given Santana Row pricing but do a little better when hiring service staff.

When walking, we missed the restaurant initially because this place is clearly, a hidden gem, especially being hidden along the nightclub strip. We were blown away by the curated vibes. From the thoughtful decor to The Office being projected on the wall. It felt hip, fresh and refined. We decided to craft our own drinks - Arnold Palmers, his favorite. But they only had sparkling lemonade, which actually made it even better. We shared a salad that had some cooked pears and squash alongside the greens, walnuts, cranberries and blue cheese. I do feel like the cooked sweet elements overpowered the salad with their sweetness and textures a bit. Wondering if a refreshing pear for crunch or more dressing could have brightened it up and provided a salty, sweet balance. I ordered the Short Ribs with a parsnip purée and roasted carrots and it did not disappoint. Everything paired beautifully together, perfectly salted and cooked. I finished the entire plate. Dad got the Pork Chop and while it was overcooked, he loved the flavors happening in the dish and was pleasantly surprised by the refreshing treatment of the kale. After I saw that this restaurant was created by the same group that manages Spruce in San Francisco I became a bit more excited about trying it out. However, I should not have had my hopes up. While the ambiance, decor were definitely on point, and the service was also good, the brunch food unfortunately fell a bit short. I couldn't quite pinpoint this part of it, but my husband pointed it out- the experience itself starts off with the menu, which isn't organized in a classic fashion- they're organized roughly by "sea," "ranch," and for brunch, a separate "brunch " category. Each category mixes all the typical types of dishes, so under "garden" you have all the vegetarian dishes, including appetizers, brunch items, bread and some main courses (like pasta). My other half's comment is that if the food had delivered, or if the waitstaff had been trained to guide us on how to order (perhaps a few small dishes to share, or one from each category etc) this could have been overlooked or seen as a fun whimsical way to dine. Unfortunately neither of those things happened. The waitstaff did ask us if it was our first time dining at the establishment and we confirmed, but then we were just welcomed nicely. The food was priced about what you expect at most places- however the portions were very small. The plating was a bit lackluster- plates seemed too big for the food on the plate, food was placed in a way where it looked like there were empty places where something else could have gone (a lemon wedge? A fresh edible flower? ). The food itself was fine. Just fine. Not amazing. Not bad. Just....fine. I had the poached salmon tartine, and I suppose I was hoping it would be as amazing as the salmon club at Poppy and Claro (that sandwich is out of this world delicious to me- generous portions as well, excellent plating...but they only open on weekdays). We also had the breakfast plate, the lemon pasta (from the "garden" category"). My younger son ended up eating an off the menu mixed fruit bowl which was delicious but..just cut fruit. We prob won't be coming back.

Just never got around to working a review before. Went early on a Saturday evening recently and was surprised to not have to wait. We split a Bibb lettuce salad that was simple, refreshing and perfect. A tiny pea fritter was the very definition of a small bite, and while it wasn't what I expected, it was crisp and tender. Grilled artichoke was one of the best I have ever had. (Just wish they had been explicit on the menu that it was a half a grilled artichoke). Cocktails were up to their usual high standard -- rye Manhattan for the BF and clarified milk punch for me. I don't get out much these days and I rarely drink alcohol, but is $20 a lot for a cocktail? Or is that normal now? They were great though. BF got the ribeye with morels, which was perfectly cooked and unbelievably tender. I had the burger, which was more exciting than it sounds, dressed with a wild combo of veggies, cheese and bacon while still managing to be harmonious and fresh tasting. Side of fries were crisp and tasty, though not as perfectly hot as I would ideally wish. Because the burger was late coming out, or server (Bernardo I think?) comped us an amazing little dish of vanilla soft serve ice cream with olive oil and sea salt, along with the butterscotch pudding that we ordered. The pudding didn't have the strong butterscotch flavor that I hoped for, but the vanilla ice cream stole the dessert show. OCK isn't a place I can afford often, but I still really like it. I appreciate the creativity of the dishes, the quality ingredients, and the bar. And the old-school shopping center vibe of the Pruneyard is low key festive and garden-like. The interior of the restaurant is kind of standard-industrial modern, but nicely so. Oh, and their glassware is super nice.

The chili and cheese they used made it taste more like something someone could make at home rather than something I'd expect from a restaurant at this price point. The KFC (Korean fried chicken) was decent, but the flavor and texture reminded me almost exactly of Taiwanese popcorn chicken with the basil and with green onions instead. Overall, maybe I may have just ordered the wrong things, so I'll give it another try and explore more of their menu next time.
