When I left around 1:55pm, the line was out into the parking lot. $30 adult, $2 fountain drink, $36.45 with tax. I was greeted and sat at my table and my drink was brought out quickly. The tables, silverware, and plates were clean. There is hand sanitizer at the entrance. Next time I'll bring gloves though. It's busy, but not too disorganized, it seems people were going the opposite direction of most buffets, so at times, I couldn't tell if I was cutting in line or not. Everytime I went to get more food, my previous plate was removed and any spills cleaned. Even though there are a ton of people eating and walking around, it's surprisingly not that loud. The food: Grilled Brisket - not tender tastes like a chuck roast (pot roast) Cajun mussels- sweet and spicy Stuffed mushroom-breadcrumbs, flavorful, juicy, sweet earthy Butterflied fried shrimp- crispy and cooked well Hofun - flat noodles, semisweet, al dente, has onions Baby bok choy- tender and crisp, bright and lightly seasoned Pot Roast- savory, semisweet, tender. When I walk into the restaurant, I'm greeted with radiant smiles from the employees. It's like they already knew my little ray of sunshine would be walking in. We get seated almost instantly, and a lady comes over to ask for our drinks. I always order my usual pink lemonade, and my mom gets a raspberry tea. After that, we head straight to the buffet area where we can serve ourselves. The plates are spotless. I grab one and load it up with my usual: noodles, rice, potatoes, green beans, broccoli and beef, and orange chicken. But this time, I tried something new--creamy pineapple shrimp--and it was incredible. It practically melted in my mouth. Honestly, it might be the best thing I've ever had, and it should definitely be their signature dish. I love Golden China Buffet, and I would recommend it to literally everyone I know. Every time I go, everyone is so nice and welcoming, and the food is always amazing. Out of all the buffets I've been to, this one tops them all. It's my number one. This place deserves 10 stars--my mom would agree too. Even the ranch is always creamy and delicious. And there's also a really cute guy who works there--he's so sweet. Personally I would only do the full experience as the salad bar wasn't varied or tasty enough for the $34.95 price tag. The salad bar and hot foods were on the mushier side. I wished the sauces were formatted in a different format as the chimichurri sauce was very far from the edge. Hence, there was a high risk of cross contamination and spillage. The mustard pasta salad was bland and limp. The potato salad fared a similar dull taste and resembled a starchy lump. The tomatoes were grainy and dry. The pao de queijo was disappointedly under the ray of death so they weren't too hot nor crispy. I wished my party got to experience fresher baskets of bread. =FULL EXPERIENCE= We were told that there were 17 available meats but we only experienced some of them. However, we enjoyed how we got to taste them when they were hot and cooked perfectly. *Picanha: one of my favorites. The fat cap was rendered and seasoned well. The meat was medium rare, tender and juicy. This had the greatest beef flavor. *Chicken with Bacon: the chicken was tender but the bacon had a stronger smokey flavor. The bacon shone more than the chicken. *Pork Belly: my other favorite piece. There were bits of fat dispersed throughout so it was moist and flavorful. There was subtle crispiness from the fat browning. *Spicy Linguica: the spice was subtle and the casing gave a satisfying snap. The interior was juicy but it was on the saltier side. *Pork Ribs: surprisingly tender and fall of the bone. The sauce was a sweeter barbeque and the ribs were on the wetter side. There wasn't any smokiness, char or caramelization but the flavors and texture were still good. *Peppered Steak: on the tougher side but still oozed out meaty juice. *Garlic Steak: similar to the peppered steak only saltier. The garlic flavor wasn't very prominent and this piece left me thirsty. I would have preferred a garlic sauce as opposed to the concentrated garlic powder taste. *Tri Tip: the best option for a leaner cut. The meat was tender and juicy. This was similar in flavor to the picanha but without the fattiness. *Grilled Cinnamon Pineapple: the cinnamon hardened around the pineapple, offering a satisfying crunch followed by a gush of sweet fruitiness. The simplistically made this my favorite rendition from a Brazilian steakhouse. This was a great meal ender despite us getting flan afterwards. *NY Strip: this was a daily special. This was a leaner cut so the beefiness was prominent but I preferred the other meats with more fat. =A LA CARTE= Not included in the all you can eat experience. *Mojito: refreshing and citrusy. There was a good amount of alcohol included. *Pudim: great way to end the meal. The Brazilian flan was dense and creamy. There was a thin layer of caramel sauce on top but it wasn't too sweet. The portion size was nicely shareable between two people. Unfortunately, they didn't bring out the shrimp until we were full so we didn't get to try it. Otherwise the service was consistent and attentive. Our server even asked about which meats were our favorites so they could bring them back out for us. There were multiple groups celebrating birthdays and they brought out their staff to sing happy birthday. During an all you can eat experience, good service is the lifeline and this was some of the best service I've received. The ambiance was stellar and this was my favorite dining experience in the Central Valley. The meats blew the salad bar and sides out of the water so I would return just for that. I went through the side entrance to the casino floor amd found the event station set up outside. The casino floor is massive, with many games. Slots, table games and a high roller area. The floor was very clean. I didn't see any cups, water bottles or trash left around. Staff was consistently cleaning. Bathrooms were kept up I used two separate ones. One was closed for cleaning so I got to try the one down by the restaurant and hotel area. Never have I seen a toilet that self replaces the seat cover for you. I love this feature! I guess I need to start traveling more. There are different spots to order food. I saw pizza, sit down and sushi, there is a bar if that is what you want. Little shops here and there for shopping. Security were on point all night. There were two specific people i really remember. One was standing at the beginning of the line for people to be checked in for the comedy show. This individual was making sure nobody brought food , drinks or alcohol from the casino with them outside to the comedy venue. This person helped keep the line moving. The other individual I met when\nI started my shift. My job was to check patrons in for the comedy show. I gave them a designated seating tab that showed them where their seat was. As I was doing this , I let the guests know that that they won't let them take their food alcohol beverages outside or from outside in I was just trying to help get the line to go smoother , because as soon as they opened the doors , the patrons got to go in. At the end of the event, I helped unlock the bags so the patrons can get their phones, smartwatches or earbuds, earpods out and return the pouches/bags to the yondr collection bags. I thought it was a very well managed event with the mixture of the third party i was working for, and all of the staff that works for Tachi palace. The staff that I saw working the event , which included security, people in purple shirts that I think were like ushers, cleaning crew. There were managers or management type people they were wearing suits. I did not get to try any food there.Although I really wanted to it smelled very good when I passed by the different places. I looked at the Pizza.It looked well made, i probably would spend money on that. The hotel looks like , it can hold a lot of people. Thursday swimming pool area with a kid area. So families can come here, all ages and enjoy the food, the entertainment, the relaxation, just to get away. I definitely want to come back so I could eat at the different places.
