This is a seat yourself type establishment. They are very, very, very slow!! When we went, there was really only one person taking orders, delivery the food, and she acted as the cashier too. There was a guy there, but I'm not sure what his role was. They do have good chips and salsa. The food itself wasn't great in my option. The waitress said the tortillas were homemade so if you like homemade tortillas, they have them.

I wish I had better things to say to be honest. My boyfriend and I saw an Instagram Reel that highlighted Tia's Taco Hut with huge pancakes and tacos and they looked so good. We sat down and the waitress who was also the cashier up front asked for our drinks. She was nice throughout the entire interaction we were there. We asked for orange juice and chocolate milk. They stated they do not sell chocolate milk even though it was on the menu. I asked for water instead The orange juice was a Tropicana bottle and a cup with ice. For $3 and change, this was disappointing. The least they could do would be mention that it was a bottle from the store. The water was clearly tap water and sure most restaurants may or may not have tap water but it tasted unfiltered and like I was drinking straight from a lake or something. Needless to say we ate without drinking anything. My boyfriend ordered 3 tacos: migas, and barbacoa. They weren't the best but not bad at all, pretty typical breakfast tacos. I ordered the chilaquiles. In any Mexican restaurant this is not chilaquiles. This is clearly migas with pico de gallo in it. Chilaquiles are either fried tortillas or tortilla chips with a green salsa on top (or otherwise other salsa) with or without egg. Needless to say we were very disappointed and would not come back. Maybe through the drive thru for breakfast tacos if we had no other option.

I order from here every morning but I don't know why but these last two times I've ate chorizo and Egg tacos and kept getting shells in my tacos from the egg .

Try this place for the first time and it was absolutely delicious! I am so happy that my son has a really great Mexican restaurant right down the street from his apartment and he's able to eat authentic delicious Tex-Mex food. My enchiladas were super delicious shows and the tostada as well and I was excited that they had big red soda. I love the decor in the restroom. Looks very authentic and the service was perfection. I can't wait to return to visit this establishment. I definitely recommend this place oh and also try their breakfast tacos. They're amazing.

Store says it closes at 10:00 PM. Got here at 9:45 and waited in the drive-through five minutes. Tried to walk in and door is locked.

It was probably our most favorite place that we ate while in San Antonio. The ambiance was great, beautifully decorated restaurant with great service. The cocktails were delicious so we had a few. Y'know it's impossible to find street parking especially on the weekends normally. I had made reservations to meet some friends here for brunch/lunch 1145 am on a Sunday. This place is bigger than it looks! There's seating at the main building, plus a huge outdoor patio seating area, and an entire other building beautifully decorated. The hostess was welcoming and friendly and our server was excellent. We were seated in the other building near the windows. The menu wasn't huge, but just right with a few lunch and brunch items. After debating for a while of what to order, I decided on the Texas Gulf Shrimp plate. Agua Fresca of the day per our server was strawberry pineapple. Our server was able to water mine down slightly- since it was very sweet, but love knowing that it was freshly made. Complimentary chips and salsa always a plus, and we were able to order some spicy salsa to accompany at no charge. My shrimp plate was delicious! 2 skewers of nicely cooked and seasoned shrimp atop salsa with perfectly cooked cilantro rice and a fresh leaf salad. A half slices avocado accompanied my plate. Oh how I love avocados. I thoroughly enjoyed my plate. The chicken al carbon was also a good choice - half a chicken that was juicy, not dry. The avocado toast was beautiful and the pecan salsa was quite interesting. The female performers during our brunch in the room, made it very hard for all of us to have conversations. The volume echoed loudly in the room, so it was very hard to speak and understand each other. Although a great idea, maybe outdoor patio area might be more suitable. Beautiful space, great service, good food.

There's such a wonderful selection, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. As parents with notoriously picky eaters, we especially appreciate how accommodating the staff is - it's such a relief to know that our kids can also find something yummy with just a quick chat with the staff member. That really makes a difference for a family outing! And oh my goodness, the appetizers are simply fantastic. We couldn't get enough! I also have to give a special shout-out to the Carrajillo I ordered. It was such a delightful surprise - perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, with a lovely citrusy kick that made it incredibly refreshing. Definitely a new favorite drink! We're already looking forward to our next visit to explore more of amazing menu. Just a little heads-up for anyone else, we realized on our way out that there's an extra parking lot right across the street if the main one fills up. Super handy to know!

I decided to stay in the city longer to check out this place. This restaurant is huge and the wait was 45 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. We used our waiting time to stroll through the Mercado across the way. Once the table was ready, my friend got a text. I always wanted to try menudo every Mexican restaurant I go to. But not until I saw the sign on the back cover. This restaurant is under the same owner as Pico de Gallo. Omg. I just had their menudo the day before. No thanks. I decided to order fajita chicken salad. The portion was really small. The food only filled a half of the fried salad bowl. I asked to put cheese on the side. It may had it look more but I don't eat cheese as much. I was glad that dressing was on the side. Which was too salty for me. So, if the food was the same as other chain, we could have eaten there which was closer to the hotel. But I noticed the difference was the servers. Our waitress was cuter and very polite. My friends kept teasing her. She kept good manner and responded back with a smile "uhhh no". Hahaha.

The hostess was a little drab but as I was walked in to be seated, you could feel the upbeat mood. Note that if you're dining solo, they will push hard to seat you at a dark diner type counter to stare at the kitchen area even if you have a reservation, so don't give in unless you're starving and that's your last resort. The colorful decor hits you and you're transported. I ordered the "Mexican Dinner" with chicken enchilada, pork tamal, beef taco with beans and rice. Also had a side order of fresh handmade tortillas. Paloma to wash it all down. Everything tasted great. My server was excellent. Patient and helpful with recommendations. The mariachi band was fun and they roamed the restaurant and bar to play, so chances are that if they aren't singing at your table then they're nearby.
