This is some of the best bar food I've had anywhere and just one of the best options for a great steak and burger at a great price anywhere. Ignore the petunias that snarkily review Tic Toc as if they were expecting a Michelin-rated fine dining experience (or as if they had ever HAD one). SPOILER ALERT: Tic Toc is a locally-owned, family-friendly, community-supporting, traditional "greasy spoon" diner open 24/7 (except Easter and Christmas) serving just about EVERYTHING you'd expect from an oldschool diner and sometimes much more! Their prices are affordable, the portions are generous, the specials are home-cooked great, the coffee is hot and fresh, the environment is friendly and chatty, the place is kept clean and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and satisfied with your order. The money you spend here goes to paying the employees a decent wage - not shareholder dividends and executive perks. THIS is what you can expect at Tic Toc. If you prefer Starbuck-esque, mass-corporatized, standardized utilitarian comfort zones where you can order all organic, half-soymilk, half-almondmilk, fairtrade decaf vanilla lattes and stale mass-produced pastries while lazily pawing at your cellphone, that's fine - but you might consider realistically managing your expectations and adjusting them accordingly...though I'm sure you're still welcome at Tic Toc if you need a good home-cooked meal served with a smile! read more

Not impressed. Food was greasy and overcooked. The whole scene felt creepy. And they have a tendency of putting very alt-right, wingnutty messages up on their billboard. The most recent message I saw sought to make fun of Al Gore because the area experienced a cold snap, so the operators apparently have no understanding of weather vs. climate change. In the past they've posted stuff criticizing the NFL because some players called attention to civil rights issues. I'm not sure why the owners feel a need to stink up the area with their anti-social, anti-civil rights, anti-science political views. Perhaps if they spent more time improving the quality of their food, than they do regurgitating Fox news talking points, they might fare better? If you're looking for a good, late night place to eat, across the street is a place called "City Diner", with much better food, open 24/7, and operated by people who are not right-wing, racist, homophobes. read more

My daughter and I enjoy trying different places. You know "be a tourist in your own city". I was not sure about this place. It looked kind of small and odd. My daughter insisted.
