Very good lunch in a fun setting on the waterfront. Dry casual atmosphere with a bunch of barstools around the bar and patio tables and chairs for 2 or more. When we arrived we each ordered a beer and decided to enjoy those for a while before ordering. We ordered our second beers and our food when our server checked back in. The food came out pretty quickly. I got the Blackened Covina Sandwich, and my wife got the Shrimp Po'Boy. Sandwiches come with a good sized serving of chips and decent coleslaw. Both sandwiches were excellent. Very fresh fish, and all the other toppings were great accompaniments. Prices were reasonable and our server was great, checking in on us regularly. We ordered to go. The combination basket and side Cesar salad. The Cesar salad is DELICIOUS. Scallops in the combo basket were ok.. we chose grilled for the fish and scallops- the fish was really good, a little Over cooked but the grilled flavor was delicious. The shrimp was pretty good, too. Will try some more options here based on our most recent experience. Awesome meal and great service from Jordan at Tide Tables. We had fresh Grouper with grilled vegetables and coleslaw. Everything was on point. My daughter got the chicken fingers and chips. We weren't huge fans of the fish dip but still ate it all, just wouldn't get again. The key lime pie is better than any I've tried previously and my mouth waters just thinking about it. Had to review this place again. 5 stars! The food is soo good. We showed up around 5pm on a Sunday and they were already on a wait! It was about a 20 min wait for an inside table. We chilled with a $2 Bud Light draft (you can't beat that price!) on their little patio/dock side area. The dining area inside is very small and you do dine close to your eating companions, however it's all fun in the experience of the place. Our server was a little on the slow side but hey we're on island time! We all had fish tacos some fried and some blackened but we all agreed fried was best - just adds a little extra crisp! But the combo of the Asian sauce, melted cheese, coleslaw and the fish works soo well with the flour tortilla. The tacos came out piping hot, had to even wait a min or two for them to cool slightly along with the French fries topped with what I think is salt and pepper - but very moorish fries. We also tried the Grouper Spread to share to begin with, which came out really quick but again was really nice and fresh and different. Let me just say that from the very second we drove onto the property I knew I was giving a 5 star review. The greeter/parking director was beyond! I felt like I was being greeted at Disney. She genuinely made me feel how happy she was that we were arriving. Just for that, BOOM! 5 stars. The key lime pie deserves its own 5 stars. Best key lime pie I've tasted so far! We happened to come on a great day, the weather was breezy and we even saw dolphins while dining. The conch fritters were a first time for me. Overall the place was a good stop on the way out of the beach area. It's convenient location catch's the eye as it's towards end of the bridge leaving the beaches. Pros: One of the best cocktail sauce I ever had. The peel and eat shrimp had great seasoning! I was still hungry for more but I ordered a dozen. There was people there to greet you during parking and overall the staff was very friendly! Cons: Had the fish tacos voted best in area.... The mahi-mahi in the fish taco was over cooked and dry. Try to come at sunset and you'll be sure to have a great evening. They do tend to have a wait around dinner rush, but they have a cool Tiki Bar that serves drinks while you wait on the dock and watch the boats go by. They also do have their own dock space to pull up right from your own boat too. I usually order the Combo Basket ($24.85) that comes with covina (I got mine blackened), scallops, shrimp and your choice of a side and coleslaw. My boyfriend always gets the Mahi Mahi ($19.95) (also blackened) that also comes with a side and coleslaw. We came here quite a few times and ordered a few different menu items, but my advice is to always stick to the fresh fish baskets - The fish is always moist and cooked to perfection. On our way back to our rental on the island we decided to give tide tables a shot as it also comes highly recommended by people in the area and boy did it live up to its reputation. Our luck continued when we got there and it started to storm so dining in was closed so take out was the only option. We got our takeout and everything was fresh, hot, and delicious! Our food was ordered and brought to us curbside. Service was friendly with about a 20 minute wait but so worth it. My wife and I each got a grouper basic which were generous portions.
