A friend and I opted to go during the week and try the tasting menu called the Temaki Takeover. It is an option to try several items at a cost of $79 per person. With this offer you are required to sit at the bar, the max dining time is 90 minutes and you are limited to ordering 3 items at a time. Our server was friendly and provided great insight into the menu. We tried 4 of the 6 starters. I enjoyed all of them . We had 6 of the items from the Temaki bar section of the menu. The one that we did not try was American wagyu since we don't eat red meat. The crispy spicy tuna was my favorite. I will not bore you with our entire order . However . I will say that there were more hits than misses and we tried the majority of the menu. In addition to trying the food items I also ordered a matcha that was perfection!! Overall - great experience. Since my first visit, I did return to try the bakery section. It did not disappoint! The Hazelnut Chocolate Croissant is worth trying !

I took my time browsing the menu, trying to get a feel for what I wanted to try, and the server came by with a few great recommendations. I decided to try the miso soup, which was made with a fish broth--my first time having it that way and ordered a few rolls as well. Since I was seated at the bar, the chef was able to prepare everything almost immediately after I ordered. The food was definitely worth the bite! However, I did feel a little rushed. I'm not sure if it was because reservations were coming in, but I tend to eat a little slower and really enjoy the experience. With such a beautiful ambiance, I wanted to take my time, try one of the pastries, and perhaps enjoy one of the recommended drinks. Unfortunately, the vibe started to feel more like "to-go," so I wrapped things up. Overall, the food was delicious, and I'd definitely be open to returning. Shamelessly, I tried both the Banana Cream Pie Iced Latte and the Peach Lemonade--and I'm so glad I did! Both drinks were perfectly crafted and full of flavor. I also ordered the Cinnamon Twist, which had just the right amount of cinnamon and paired perfectly with my drink. The ambiance was another highlight. With plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff, and a playlist full of classic hits, it was the perfect spot to relax, catch up with a friend, or get a little work done. If you're looking for a cozy café with great drinks and even better vibes, Summit Coffee is definitely worth the visit.

It's not the cheapest bag of beans but it's definitely freshly roasted and good quality! I love their seasonal bevs - I've tried their fall drinks like the Tokyo Drift (Applewood smoked cortado, orange blossom syrup, freshly grated nutmeg, orange peel) and the Spice is Right (Iced, spicy, creamy, coffee cocktail vibe with cold brew, hot honey syrup, vanilla bean and milk). You can easily sub out alternate milks, even on the seasonal specialty drinks. I appreciate the themes and play on the seasons. And also just simple but delicious drinks like the Nitro Lavender Vanilla Oat Latte. The seating can be a huge issue. I seem to always stumble in during peak, maybe? There seems to be plenty of space but no seating/tables. Many tables for 2 or 4 would be taken by 1-2 people studying/working all day, which is understandable but still frustrating. It had everything I look for in a great bagel: soft interior, plenty of chew, and just enough snap on the outside. I ordered the jalapeño cheddar bagel with pastrami, egg, and cheese, and it was fantastic. The pastrami was flavorful and well-seasoned, the egg and cheese complemented it perfectly, and the jalapeño cheddar bagel added a nice kick without being overly spicy. I usually order cheddar bagels, but they were out, and honestly the jalapeño cheddar may have converted me. I also tried the cheese danish and chocolate croissant, both of which were very enjoyable. Later I came back for the Philly cheesesteak. It was flavorful and well-made, but if I'm being honest, the bagels are the reason to visit. That's clearly where they shine. The menu is fun and creative, with plenty of options that make me want to come back and try more. Service was friendly, pricing felt fair, and there was plenty of parking since it's located in a shopping center. Inside, there are plenty of tables, though larger groups may find the seating a little tight since the tables are fairly close together. Still, it's a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy breakfast or lunch. Parking is a non issue since it's part of a shopping center area. Atlanta is spread out enough that it's nice to have favorite spots in different parts of town, and if you're in the Dunwoody area, Yaba's Bagels is definitely a place I'd recommend. The jalapeño bagel combined with the scallion cream cheese was very savory! I also liked the fluffiness of the bagel. However, I was not a fan of the turkey bacon, although I know it is because this place prioritizes halal options, which is great for those who prefer that. I think that the bagels were a bit pricey, but that might just be everywhere. I would come back to try another item off their menu as their signature bagels are where the Mediterranean flavors are at.

It actually tasted like real Nashville hot -- not the watered-down, fake spicy version a lot of places do. The flavor had that perfect heat and seasoning balance. I was also obsessed with the sauce bar. They had around ten different sauces and every single one I tried was delicious. Such a fun touch and definitely sets them apart. The cheese fries were insanely good -- super cheesy and perfectly seasoned. And to top it all off, I ended with the Oreo custard which was amazing and tasted so fresh.
