Ate at this place with a friend and the hostess suggested the tacos that we recently added to the menu. They were extremely tasty and did not disappoint. The environment was quite relaxed the the servers were very quick. The tables are a little close for my preference but were not comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience. read more

We placed a catering order for our team today to be ready at 5 PM. The service was excellent- quick, organized and extremely helpful. The management team was proactive in ensuring that all of the items in our bag were correct and packaged correctly. One of the managers even offered to help bring the food out to our car. Everything was hot and fresh when we brought it back to the office. A few of our team members that never had Tijuana before kept saying how delicious the food was. While we waited, we took notice of how clean the restaurant was- floors swept, hot sauce station tidy, windows free of smudges and all un-used tables cleared. Thank you for a great To-Go experience. I usually visit on Tuesday, to partake in the feast that is Taco Tuesday. The tacos are very good, especially when you add the peach flavored hot sauce, it is the perfect combination of sweet and spice! If you do plan to go on a Tuesday be prepared for a line, it gets very busy. Great for family night, or a casual night with friends! read more

I chose to review this location because this is the one that set me on a long and terrible addiction to this amazing Mexican inspired food. I will never forget the first time I was invited to the Flats of Tijuana for an adventure my taste buds will never forget. It all started with a beef chimichanga with extra jalapenos and my first unforgettable trip to the sauce bar. "Warning keep children away," is the type of sign that will get your attention when facing a sauce bar. If that doesn't get your attention then the names like "Smack My Ass and Call me Sally," and "Lizard Spit" sure will. Of course I was told by the friend who brought me that upon first visit I had to try the Endorphin Rush hot sauce. This would be the one to the far right of a bar that goes from sweetest on the left to hottest on the right. She neglected to inform me that you should only use a little as I drowned the nacho in it. Keep in mind this is a tradition I have carried on with my Friends since. I've even watched some of them throw up....wimps. Oh quick note, if you do try the hotter sauces do not touch your eyes for about a week. Soap and water just don't cut it. I cried a little. Over the years I have tried most of the products they offer and have yet to be disappointed. I prefer the Chimichangas (or Chimi's in TF terms) the Burritos, Tacos, Ultimate Nacho, and the new cheesy tacos. You can't go wrong. Now even though I love spicy food since Cheyenne eggs were a household favorite growing up, this does not mean everything is spicy. If you are a milder type of person then simply ask them to hold the jalapenos, and stick to the left of the sauce bar. Try the smack my sweet ass and call me Sally sauce. The atmosphere is great. The walls are decked with pictures that look as if a tattoo artist wrote a comic book, blew up the picture and stuck it too a wall. They sell different types of beer and margaritas, and most locations offer some nice outdoor seating. The staff is young and energetic, and the service is fast. You can even buy the sauces in bottles to take home and hide in your lady's food (muah hah hah.) I recommend the death pack. I have only two negatives to list. One is the inconsistency of their sweet tea. It can be either good or bad. The other was my billing statements for 2009. In order of where I spent the most money it went 1. Rent 2. Gas 3. Always get what you ordered. Always made the way you ordered it. Tastes the same every time. Always fresh. Place looks great, colorful and lively. Seating is a little cramped but they make up for it outside. I applaud who ever is doing the training at this store. My wife and I ate here several weeks ago and they had a burrito on the specials menu that was out of this world. I think it was called a "Bang Burrito" It had hot boneless wings in it mixed with all the fixings. If you like spicy wings you'll love this. read more

never even heard of this place because we are from ft lauderdale. found it on yelp while visiting the area for a few days. 6 adults & 8 kids went there for dinner and WOW!!! were we impressed. 1st....the staff was soooooooo nice. Autumn is the only name i remember (cause she made me feel old when she called me sir ;-) oh....and for the reviewer who says he ordered 10 times to go...and they are incapable of getting it right...i find that difficult to believe because they were perfectly accurate on both of our group orders...& if it's so bad....why do you keep ordering it? they were so incredibly nice & accommodating to our big group w/ a baby seat. then the food started coming out incredibly quick and looked like works of art...SO fresh and it really did taste as good as it appeared. absolutely delicious. we all ordered different things & tasted each other's food...and it was all fantastic. the multiple hot sauces were icing on the cake we liked it so much we brought another couple on our final day there for lunch. didnt get our waitresses name but she was awesome too and so was the manager. we didnt hold it against him that he's a fsu guy....he still did a great job ;-) apparently there is one opening in pembroke pines....kinda near us...but worth the drive i've been to chipotle grille, moe's....and this place kicks their collective butt....hands down if they only had a liquor license....because a fat margarita was the only thing missing read more

I love to go here for lunch! Fast and friendly and so affordable! It does get very busy around the usual 12-1pm lunch times so to avoid the crowds try for before or after or, another great and fast way is order it to-go and you can walk right up to your food all ready for you and still grab a seat ;) read more

Seriously, I have ordered from this place at least 10 times in the last year, 9 of them "To-Go". They are incapable, INCAPABLE, of getting an order right. Most of the time, not even close to being right. Do yourself a favor and run down the street to Taco Bell. It might be fast food, but they won't screw it up like Tijuana Pot Luck. Food is good as always but, SERVICE IS ALWAYS HORRIBLE! After food is delivered nobody checks back for refills...especially on the outdoor patio area. If I was rating on food alone I'd give a higher rating but, seeing as how even the manager seems to not care about the service (we spoke with him) I'm only giving this place a two. Tonight we even watched a pregnant lady get up & go inside to get refills for her family. What I like best about this location is everyone there always makes me feel welcome and comfortable like I was family or a friend coming in. I was working in the surrounding area around 1pm and I realized it was Taco Tuesday so I searched for the nearest Tijuana Flats. When I first walked in I got confused where the lined started and where it ended. Once I found the line it was a short wait to place my order. While waiting in line I got to observe the place and the first thing I noticed was this place needs to expanded! The place is pretty small and they pack as many tables and chairs in as they could. There's seating outside but I'm not going to seat outside when it's +90 degrees out. The service was pretty good, a lot of workers. I got my food after a short wait, about 3-4 minutes. I was expecting for my tacos to be kind of small due to it was Taco Tuesday but they weren't at all! Some of the biggest tacos I have ever received for Tijuana Flats. All in all this is a great place to grab a quick bite but I just wish it was bigger. If you due come to this Tijuana Flats make sure you come when they're not too busy. read more

I might get a soggy taco every once in a while, but that isn't going to stop me from taking part in Taco Tuesday's! I always look forward to Tuesday's because I get Tijuana. I'm always talking about this place to all my family and friends. If I've ever had a problem, the manager always took care of it like it was her own which is why I keep coming back. I can always count on leaving happy and full! They have great deals on holidays and on Tuesdays and Thursday's. I wish they had more locations, that's probably the only downside. read more

This has got to be my favorite restaurant! This is hands down the best text-mex. Great food, and beverages, also a hot sauce bar with flavors from mild to extremely hot. Hot sauces have fun names (smack my assistance and call me sally) and they have great art all over the ceiling and walls. Music and sports on tv with an outside eating area as well as a singing guitar player. Great deals on taco Tuesdays you get 2 tacos, chips, and a drink for just 5 bucks. read more

I and my fiance went at about 6PM today, and we both got burritos. The service was fast, and the cashier knew me by name. The food was possibly the best it has ever been at this location, everything was cooked perfectly, and the ratio of different ingredients in our burritos was just right.
