I got my partner chimichangas yesterday and fried cookie dough bites. I haven't eaten at Tijuana Flats but it's my partner's favorite. The lady was nice at the counter; it took about 15 minutes for us to get out to go order. The inside is Mexican themed- because it's a Mexican inspired restaurant!! We'll definitely come back for the hot sauces!

My favorite! Stopped in to have lunch today. My husband and I ordered the Queso Blanco Carnitas Chimichanga with chips! Ordered a Mango White Claw and a Modelo to drink. We order our son a kids chicken burrito with chips and applesauce with apple juice to drink! Service and food was great! I love the hot sauce bar they offer. If you don't like it too spice I recommend the "Smack My Ass and Call me Sally" it's a sweet and sour sauce! The restaurant was very clean with clean floors, tables and hot sauce bar was nicely put together. I can't wait to come back!

Went to grab lunch after some shopping. Staff was friendly, helpful and wore masks. We got a steak chimichanga and chicken flautas. The steak was flavorful, juicy and probably one of the best we've had at any location. Flautas were meh, but overall fine.

All Tijuana Flats are not created equal. Total disappointment at this location after having a great experience at others. Came 45 minutes before closing and staff was more interested in that than anything else. Customer service was bad. Food was also. Hardly any meat in my tacos. Would not return to this location.

Since I love Mexican I decided to check out this spot. The ambiance is eclectic. It's more Tex-Mex vs. traditional Mexican. I requested grilled onions in my quesadilla end was told they didn't have or grill onions. Yet the Classic Chimichanga came with grilled onions! It' definitely makes a difference for me! There are large portions but not very flavorful. The bathroom was also unavailable due to it being stopped up! Hence, I will not be returning This may be why it wasn't very many patrons on a Friday night!!

I got in here and ordered a carnitas burrito with a side of guacamole. The food tasted very good but the burrito was way too wet. The last quarter of the burrito, the tortilla was soggy. But it tasted good to start out with. I liked that they had several sauces from mild to sweet and hot. The service was great, they were very helpful and accommodating. And the ambiance was also great. Good music, deco and atmosphere. If I go again, I'll ask them not to add so much juice to the burrito. Also the bathroom is very clean.

Yelp 100 Challenge 2017 - 9/100. I was happy to see that a location was now near to where I lived and couldn't wait until they opened. I order the taco salad and the amazing trio of guacamole, salsa, nacho cheese and chips. As with all the location the food is fresh and tasty. The interior is pretty amazing and trendy. It has an awesome wall mural and cute seating booth inside and the outside area. The staff was friendly and attentive. I live this place!

I ended up ordering the Wildberry Mule and requested it to be less sweet. The bartender recommended the boom boom sauce on any of the entrées, so I chose the Boom Boom Chicken Enchilada. They also brought out chips and salsa, along with a creamy jalapeño dip. The salsa was fresh and delicious, and the chips were warm, which I really liked. It was the perfect amount of food, and I really enjoyed it. The boom boom sauce was pretty spicy, but really good. I did think the price was a little high for what I got, but overall it was a good dinner. The service was excellent.

I had my thoughts on the frozen raspberry margarita that I had the time before that was so delicious but unfortunately they did not have that flavor this time. I got the strawberry and lime frozen margaritas swirled together with a sugar rim. The margarita was pretty good. I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars. For an entree, I ordered the chicken flautas. This comes with rice and refried beans. When served, the entree came with 6 flautas which to me seemed like a decent portion. I was very disappointed though because there was barely any meat inside each one and I swear there was no cheese. Which cheese makes the dish. They were extremely dry and I only ate like 2. The rice and beans made up for the dish. I appreciate the salsa and chips that get brought out to each table.

I've now been three times and they're always busy and better for take out if you live nearby because sometimes waiting for the tables to turn can take a bit because they're so popular and it's such a small dining area (6 booths). Unfortunately, as much as I love the food there and the ambience, especially on Cinco de Mayo, I was starving! I remembered around the corner there was a restaurant that had been recommended in the past, but I never got the chance to check out. Being that I was in the area, I figured let's give this spot a try. Lo and behold, El Pueblo was only six minutes down the road! There was a 20 minute wait, but I was greeted kindly by the staff, and when I walked in you could tell this place was super authentic. The decor was super vibrant and music was bumping. They do not have alcohol, but they have coronas and a margarita type glass premixed for purchase. That held us over for the time being. The chips and salsa were phenomenal. The salsa had some type of sweet pepper flavor to it and you could tell it was homemade. My friend got three tacos with rice and beans and I got the flautas you were able to choose your own meat, which was really cool no extra charge. Sometimes back up plans can end up being the best finds. Definitely will be back!!!!

However, since we've had my son, we're not in the area as much so we don't come as often, but we were at icon Park today and this seemed like the perfect place to take the rest of my family. It was an absolute hit! Grandma yelled at me for holding out on her! Why haven't you brought me here before? She had the agave chipotle queso chicken enchiladas. It was our servers recommendation and they were absolutely delicious. I had the birria appetizer and it was excellent. It was an appetizer, but it was so large. We couldn't eat it all and it could definitely be a meal if you wanted it to be. The absolute best thing is the kids menu. My son loves chips and queso so much. Queso dip is one of the sides you can get with the kids meal. How amazing is that? We go to some Mexican restaurants and I spend more on queso for this child than I do on a meal for him or even myself. He had the cheese quesadilla with queso and rice as sides. After lunch, I asked him if we could come back here and he said oh yes! My son ate most of his meal, but grandma and I both ended up taking to go boxes. I feel like the prices are pretty reasonable, especially the kids meal and for the portions they give you even for the adult meals. Our server was absolutely wonderful. She brought out fresh chips and salsa almost immediately, and as soon as our chips started to run low, she immediately replaced them. As soon as we ordered, I asked if she could bring my son's queso first and she gladly obliged. It was a very hot day and she kept our drinks full. We will definitely be back.
