I haven't been to Rye play-land for many years but I heard they were having a disco night and so I put on my psychedelic shirt and came to dance. Our group had an excellent time at the pier, 70's and 80's themed disco night. We danced the night away and enjoyed a great atmosphere with many friendly people. The service and the drinks were great but the food wasn't too good. I tried a couple of dishes and wasn't impressed, the cocktail shrimp were good, nice and big. But then they ran out of clams and oysters! The night was just beginning, poor planning, management has to get it together. I ordered some steamed clams and they served me some baby clams that were so tiny! Come here for the vibe and the drinks. Make sure you eat before you come. But come to drink and dance!

My first time at the tiki Beach pier restaurant went for a 70's disco event-the DJ was fantastic -great music and we danced the whole night. Beautiful fireworks and beach front view amazing. Here is the problem the food was horrible ordered chicken spring rolls it simple had a funcky taste. Ordered guacamole and chips but the guacamole needed flavor -I think they missed the salt and pepper. Ribs did not look good at all and if you see pictures salt was applied to the potatoes. Thank goodness their drinks were pretty good no complaints there and Omar our server was very attentive. So before any event at Tiki bar restaurant eat somewhere else then go have fun .

I do not know why the reviews are so bad! I am glad I took them with a grain of salt. I ordered the fish tacos, a side of summer veggies, and a vodka Diet Coke. The venue itself is beautiful & a perfect place to listen to live music. I came tonight to see my favorite band Bailen. They were amazing & the acoustics were captivating. As for food, the tacos were very good. Perfect portion and summer taste! The veggies were fine, nothing remarkable but I wanted a healthy side. As for the drink that was a little flat but overall fine. The server was attentive and caring. It was not easy to wait on all the tables. However I took off a star for the constant rolling of the cart to collect dishes. It took away from the moment. And there needs to be a better way to know which food goes to which table. All in all would come back again, especially for more live music!

I came here with my friends and their kids, the vibes are great. We were under an umbrella by the water, it was warm out, but there was a nice breeze and they had music playing! I got the lobster roll, it was good, but I think the bread could've been softer. we shared the jumbo coconut shrimp, that was so good! Love the sauce on that too. I got a Casamigo. Margarita, delicious! I had two of those lol my friends also had drinks, love those as well. The service was great, our server was so nice and helpful with our questions. I definitely go back, probably will try something else. The prices here are alright, I will definitely be going back before summer is over.

Ok folks this place is a traaaaap, don't come here to eat nada. Came out to have a meal and stay for live band and of course enjoy the view.. The food is terrible, I had the steak sandwich it was made with some cheap cut of steak. It was supposed to have garlic bread and there was no garlic and no mayo nothing, Dry as hell. My friend had lobster ravioli and it looked like soup. I kid you not. I kick my self for not taking a pic.DONT GET THAT!! The bros got the steak with mash and veggies, they gave it a 7/10 per them a lot for a 50$ steak. The drinks were ok, our waitress was attentive, not pressuring to get us out etc. Now let's talk bill, they tacked on a delivery fee of 16$. We were sitting right there, what delivery? Our server was kind enough to remove that when asked.

The Tiki Beach Pier Restaurant has views of the Long Island Sound. I sat outside on the patio, and had a cheeseburger with French fries. The brownie a la mode was delicious for dessert.

Loved the place. view is amazing. The first thing is that u have to leave your car like 2 blocks away in the park parking lot that is 20 dollars..The music was great, but service lacks. It took about 20 minutes to get a waiter. We order guac n chips and coconut shrimp to start. Guac was good. and the shrimp ok but not great. We also order drinks . they came in a plastic cup full of ice. DRINKS are just a bit tasty, but aftee a few minutes is just juice and water. I guess they dont want u leaving drunk. we ordered a second round of drinks and told the waiter to see if they could make the second drink stronger . Well it dit not happen.Burguers are great. and had a fireworks show. Its a cool place but not great to actually have good cocktails.

Dined here a few days ago. Hostess sat us outside by the Tiki Bar. Sun was not too hot due to the fact there is tree covering. Food was really good and comes out fast and piping hot. Please try the calamari the dipping sauce so delicious. I also really enjoyed the empanadas they also came with an incredible sauce. I did not care for the shrimp Cevichi it was a tomato base but has guacamole mixed in it tastes very weird.

It was pretty empty but I can see this Tiki bar has the potential of getting packed in the warmer weather. Very spacious the food good we had fish tacos and flat bread . My only complaint is they had no n/a beers with these days with current trends are big sellers

Long Island boaters are always on the lookout for restaurants to drive up to. At the recommendation of friends, we decided to head across the sound and try this place out. Many restaurants on the water have limited dock space or are hard to tie up at, but not the Tiki restaurant. It was super easy to tie up on a mooring ball near playland beach and catch a tender to the restaurant. Pina colada was cold and tasty, cauliflower app was yum and my fish tacos were very good. Salads got mixed reviews. Definitely worth a boat outing though :)

The service wasn't the greatest when I came here. I had to find my own table and it didn't seems as though the waiters were that attentive. After ordering it rained so my party ran for cover on the inside. The waiters located us to bring us our food and drinks.... The drinks were okay, not strong. The food on the other hand was different. My salmon was seasoned with lemon aioli which was a first for me so I enjoyed it for what it was.

While the service was awesome, the food was mediocre and overpriced...Oh and the $20 parking is beyond ridiculous.

I'll start with the positives: the staff was friendly and professional, the crowd was great, and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable. Those were easily the best parts of the evening. However, the food was extremely disappointing. It lacked flavor, seasoning, and creativity. The drink selection was also underwhelming. They had already run out of certain beers, and the cookie dessert that was advertised was never available. One thing that was misleading is that the event wasn't actually held at the Barley Beach House restaurant. It took place on the beach, away from the restaurant itself. Although it was advertised as a 21+ event, attendees weren't even allowed to walk into the water to wet their feet. I understand safety concerns and the lack of lifeguards, but for an adults-only event, I expected a little more flexibility. The beach restroom conditions were also unacceptable. They were dirty and had no toilet paper, which should never happen at an event charging premium ticket prices. To make matters worse, a severe thunderstorm rolled in, and the fireworks were completely canceled. While I understand that weather is beyond anyone's control, there was nothing else about the event that justified the cost. Overall, while I appreciated the friendly staff and fun crowd, the food, drinks, amenities, and overall value fell far below expectations. I would not recommend this event, and I would not return.

We jumped over to the bar right beside and drank some girly drinks before getting the notification our table was ready. As with nearly every establishment in NYC, it is very close quarters in paradise lost. We stood at a table while waiting for seats at the bar to become available. Which, we didn't mind. I could see how this might be a little harder to get a seat for a bigger group if you aren't there before 6. It seemed that once a group got a big table, they camped out. The drinks were strong and creative. Friendly bartenders, good music, and yummy options for bar snacks. Also, the bathroom is a nice touch. Given the hell theming for the bar, the bathroom is a 180 and while using the Lou, you can listen to the bible being recited. Theres also a spooky surprise if you press the button in the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, it is at the bottom of some decently narrow stairs. So, try and stay sober enough for stairs or you may fall. Go to this bar. You will have fun.

We wanted to have after-dinner cocktails in a chill space, so we searched on our phones & saw Paradise Lost address via Google. We proceeded to walk down & was unable to find the establishment due to their being no front sign. After walking back & forth a few times, we saw another group walking towards the door & they confirmed the place. We walked inside the front door pressed a "doorbell" & lo & behold we gained entry after the previous group went inside. Definitely an incognito entrance. Once inside that door there is someone to greet you, & take your information. There is a forest/ grass/ jungle-looking foyer/ hallway we walked down to get to the next door. Before we knew it, we were near the "Paradise Lost No Vacancy" neon sign w/ an arrow pointing towards the snake-shaped knob door. It gets opened & a supercool speakeasy awaits.... Paradise Lost has mixed style table / seating arrangements throughout the place. A bar seating section, booth-style seating area, lounge- style seating area, etc. We got there a little after 7pm, so the afterwork crowd was in full swing. Paradise Lost has interesting atmosphere. At times a Gothic / Medieval Vibe, meets place w/ shipwreck decor, meets eleganct /club vibe w/ beautiful ceiling lighting, etc. Music played in the background. Staff are friendly, energetic, & attentive. We were pleasantly overwhelmed w/ the vast selection of tiki cocktails that were on the menu. Paradise Lost also have an intimate selection of snacks/ food menu items. This included Popcorn, Tater Tots, Devilled Eggs Rangoon Dip, etc. We ordered some cocktails served in unique tiki mugs & a bucket of popcorn to munch on w/ our drinks. The popcorn is flavored w/ Sea Buckthorn & Browm Butter, which gave it an special flavor profile. Our cocktails were well-prepared & nice & strong. Paradise Lost has individual unisex bathroom stalls & a communal vanity & sink area. The bathroom stalls have spooky voices coming from a speaker as you use the bathroom. I was so humorously taken aback, it had me laughing when I came out...Definitely a different thing to experience in the bathroom - lol. Before we left we watched one of the bartenders do a cocktail "fire" presentation for some patrons in a booth seated area. Wow.... Paradise Lost accepts walk-ins only, no reservations. It has easily earned a spot as one of my favorite bars of all time. The underground space flawlessly captures a raw, seedy, 1980s rock 'n' roll vibe, with eclectic decor that extends beautifully to the themed menus and custom glassware. Sitting at the bar was a highlight--the bartenders were fantastic, clearly proud of their craft, and they even humorously indulged my game of trying to guess the ingredients of each drink they mixed. The cocktail lineup is phenomenal. A few absolute highlights: the Purple Rain with its purple ice and peppercorn, the flambéed Dirty Dancing, a brilliant espresso martini riff called Flick The Bean, and Pure Temptation--which has glassware you just have to see for yourself. Nothing wrong with the vibe--it's Times Square, so you already know what you're getting--but it's definitely a one-and-done kind of spot. The drinks are good and super fun, but they're very extra (smoke, presentation, all that), so between that and how packed it gets, it can take a while just to get one cocktail. Didn't try the food.
