So listen...I love a place that provides parking and plenty of it! Drove up and was immediately able to park literally a few steps from the entrance. Crawfish seems to be my go-to choice these days, so I'm always looking for a place that provides some deliciously seasoned crawfish. This place fits the bill! They partner with this business called "Hot & Buttered" that has some of the best crawfish and fixings in town. Just writing about it is making my mouth water. Sooo good! Don't just take my word for it though. Go see for yourself! Now it did take a lil minute to be ready, but in all fairness, they had a pretty decent amount of orders ahead of mine. Other than that, the drinks here are good, strong, and well priced. The vibe is chill and laid paid. Just don't sit next to a group of guys who've had too much to drink and get annoyed like I did. Check this place out!

I found this place on accident. I was planning to go to the seafood boil place next door but after seeing the tiki huts with swings and all the people having a good time inside tikilas I had to stop by. It was a Sunday night and the astros were playing so there were groups watching the game and the bar had drink specials. I got the ocean water frozen which was on special for the game for $6 or $7. It was so tasty but very sugary. Also got a shot of patron for $11. We sat at the bar and the Dj played a wide range of music we enjoyed and danced to. The bartenders were very friendly and attentive. They have water stations for humans and dogs so you don't have to wait for a bartender for that. Indoor and outdoor seating and can enjoy the food from the seafood place (hot and buttered) or the taco truck outside. I'll be back! PS: they have a small parking lot (free) that was almost full when I arrived.

This place has the greatest theme. Made me feel like I was in a far-off oasis even though it was cold! They lit the torches and fire pits, which made things more comfortable. Idk what happened that day it seemed as if the bar tender may have been overwhelmed that day. She did make some bangin tiki torches tho! There was no food but they have pop ups that sell different foods throughout the week... maybe an excuse to come back and try other things there while playing Jenga or cornhole! Just a quick tip they added gratuity to the tab automatically

I see some 1 star reviews here and while that sucks, I can at least say my experience here was 5 stars! I believe Blake was our bartender. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to take too many pics, but I definitely enjoyed the vibe and drinks (on a late Sunday afternoon). Upon walking in, there are a few food trucks outside and the outdoor area was charming! There's tiki hut style seating and swings. You can order from the lil window outside. It was too warm so we went inside. I didn't think it was a sit-down establishment... So my friend and I just went straight to the bar and ordered drinks. Found ourselves a booth and sat. There were promo gals passing out refreshing infused vodka and everyone was friendly. If I needed another drink, I just went to the bar, no big deal. It's a bar/lounge, not full service restaurant. I see that there's a strict dress code policy and no Crocs allowed (per previous reviews). Not sure about the reasoning behind that, but I came very casual and had Vans on. A good chill place for cocktails especially once the weather gets cooler outside.

Frozen Mojito was a yummy quencher for a hot summer day.

Super cool indoor/outdoor venue with great drinks & food! From smooth cocktails to frozen boozy treats, there's a good variety to sip & enjoy while you lounge in a cozy booth, stretch out on a bench, or kick your legs on the swing set. We came for the boil - crawfish , shrimp & crab are cooked well, flavored with a rich herb & butter sauce. Other casual menu options are available too, like tacos, hot dogs, egg rolls, and fries. The island vibes make you forget you're in the heart of Houston! Awesome, laid back spot to hang out.

Great staff, incredible decor, bomb crawfish and drinks... but the bees are a little bothersome.

Ranch waters!! Tequila, topo chicho, lime, pineapple juice, cucumber, and tajin

I wasn't too impressed the first time, and this visit certainly confirmed my initial thoughts. For La Lucha's Happy Hour, you get a choice between 2 types of oysters ($1.50 each). These were great - do this on a weekday before 6pm and you should be able to grab a table without a reservation. Barely even after we started eating the oysters, the waitress was already asking if we wanted to order more, instead of allowing us to just enjoy our food without interruptions. The menus they gave at our table were inconsistent and had different menu items. I had to ask for clarification if the redfish was on the menu since it wasn't on two of the three menus given to us. So, quality control was a miss. Rest of the menu... is limited. Everything was so greasy, from the fried chicken, the redfish, and shrimp tacos. * Red fish with pecans - 6/10. The fish did not taste like it was seasoned with salt. It was well cooked, not dry at all, but it lacked any sort of seasoning aside from the butter and pecans on top. * Shrimp Tacos - 4/10. I think I prefer Taco Bell over this one. The shell was greasy, not crisp (felt like it was stale), and I was confused with the combination of American Cheese and shrimp. They also added hot sauce or spicy salsa in the tacos - so a warning if you can't handle spice (not mentioned on the menu). * Half Fried Chicken - 5/10. The chicken was moist. Been here once before and it was quite dry, so I'm glad this was cooked well. You get 2 thighs, a wing, and a drumstick (4pc). Again, there was a lack of any seasoning on the chicken itself & the exterior. Sadly, the sauce that we picked was not the best either - oyster mayo. It would've been nice to try the others, but the half order came with one sauce. The seasonal jam that was available was the peach jam. It went well with the biscuits (half order comes with 2 biscuits, any extra is $1.50). For my people who get cold in restaurants, I would recommend bringing a light jacket since they turn the A/C up.

This is a bit of a dated review, but we came here for a Valentine's dinner as a special occasion. We got seats at the bar counter behind the fire (which to me was the best seat in the house) so we could be close to the action. One thing you'll notice is that the place is quite loud, I think which owes to the low ceilings (so don't expect like a quiet and romantic vibe). The meal started out great with the bread and butter - bread was sourced from Magnol, which was a huge green flag to start. The oysters were extremely fresh and absolutely delicious. We also had a dish with tuna over crispy rice which was my fiancee's favorite of the night. My personal favorite was the salad (I know that is crazy to say at a restaurant that specializes in live fire cooking) - but the way they zested all different types of citrus/lemons, peppers, chiles, and the way the herbs they put into it, created what was one of the most memorable salads I have ever had. All in all the food was excellent. Service was great (the night we were there, Max Lappe was there sending out food to customers himself). I do kind of wish the atmosphere was a little more quiet. With that said, expect to spend around $200pp (we did share a bottle of wine though).

I would like to preface, this isn't a cheap quick dinner restaurant but I highly recommend coming at least once. We found it on the Michelin guide. I love the inside of the restaurant, the layout is fun and intimate. *grilled oysters were good. The flavor from the n'duja with the bits of pecan was something I would never think to pair. Great start! * elk tartare was surprisingly amazing. I always find tartare to be a tough dish to make outstanding and with elk I was hesitant to try but happy we tried it. The plate was cleaned by the time we finished. The cracker was light and paired well with it. * maitake mushrooms were so good that we had to split it evenly so no one got an unfair amount lol The sauce is like a coffee/caramel/chocolately savory sauce. Mt description doesn't do it justice. It's umami but has a caramelized feel. Just get it! * pork chop was the best pork chop we've had. We typically order steak over pork chops at restaurants but heard great things. Tender and flavorful. I will say it's a very rich dish so be mindful of that but highly recommended * grits, this was the dark horse. It was our favorite tapa. We laugh bc we didn't think grits would be the fav, out of all the amazing dishes. But the beef cheek underneath the silky grits... YUM! I'll be craving them *basque cheesecake was good but not the best we've had. But it's also hard to compete with all the other dishes we had
