Food was ok, the biryani, karahi and tikka were all leg pieces but service seriously needs more work, we got one each of the item on the 'discounted menu', we wanted a drink so asked for it and the owner said to take it from the refrigerator and he ll bill us for it later, my niece went to get it and saw only half empty/full bottles of coke, then her father helped her find one unopened bottle of coke, which we shared at our table, after dinner I went to pay for the drink, the owner wanted me to pay per cup though we had picked the whole bottle, which we shared with another table too. I asked how much for a cup, a tiny 8 oz cup, he said $2.99, I said why didn't you tell us before, you should have a sign here that it's per cup not bottle, to make the story short, I stood my ground and ended up paying $10 for a $2.99 bottle of coke, what a joke this place is, always disappoints us, once we hosted an iftar here and the same guy charged us for the al la carte customers who were not our guests, an surprised this place is still in business.

Heading home from Knotts and needed real food and we found it. They were extremely friendly and the food was delicious. Note: this region has a little more of a kick and it was yummy. We got chicken biryani that had great flavor, tikka masala that was wonderful, and beef kobideh and chicken seikh all so flavorful. I also highly recommend the garlic naan. If you are in the area and need a break from all the park food or need some great regional food, try this place.

This is such a great place, the owner is so sweet and generous! Great food, very fresh and flavorful. They also have a great venue for parties, check them out!

Walked in at around 6:50pm on a Friday night. I was told that they will be doing a $14.99 buffet starting at 8PM and will also be having a karaoke night but if I wanted to order A La Carte, they would be very accommodating. The rest of our party showed up about 20 minutes later. The one star knockoff is not for the food (which was amazing) or service to me, but what I saw happen before the rest of my party arrived. There were two gentlemen who walked in right before me with a baby. They sat down and asked to look at the menu. One of them ended up using the restroom. After about 5 to 10 minutes they handed the menus back and said they weren't sure about what they wanted to eat. The owner or someone who worked here was quite rude to them telling them that restrooms are for customers only and that they will have to pay $2. I think the way it was handled was a bit rude. As far as the service I received, it was great. We ended up ordering the following: 1 chicken tikka leg (2 pcs) 1 nihari 1 seekh kabob (beef) 1 seekh kabob (chicken) 1 boti kabob (beef) 3 naans and 1 garlic naan 4 chais 1 mango lassi Everything was fresh and tasteful. I felt like it had the right amount of spice to it. My recommendation would be to get the beef seekh kabob and nihari as I enjoyed both items more than the chicken items. The garlic naan is also a must have! None of the bbq dishes were dry, a common problem at other restaurants. My dad said his mango lassi was different than any other restaurant he has had it at. Considering he doesn't like it at other places, I took as a positive sign. The people working there were very nice about getting us one naan right away since the kids in our party were very hungry. They interacted with everyone in our party and were trying to encourage the girls to sing. Very friendly to us. The wait time for the food is what is expected when preparing fresh food. The chai took a while to make, but when ordering, I was told straight up it would take a while. Transparency is very much appreciated. The only other drawback was the service charge was already included when I went to pay the bill but I didn't notice it and added an extra tip. I think they should let you know up front that the service charge has been added. Overall the food was a definite 5/5 for me. And that is a rare occurrence for Desi food that is not my mom's. We will be coming back. I hope they keep the food quality the same.

I visited Tikka Guys on a Friday night with about 20 other relatives. They had a special Eid dinner buffet where they were charging $20 at the door for anyone entering. Afterwards people could participate in karaoke. Most of the participants did Indian songs from the 70's and 80's, none of which I was familiar with nor was I interested in. The buffet consisted of BBQ chicken, biryani, an Afghani rice, palak paneer (spinach curry), daal (lentil curry), chicken curry, chicken tikkah masalah, naan, and another curry dish that didn't look too appetizing. For dessert they had kheer (rice pudding dish). The BBQ chicken and naan tasted pretty good. The chicken was juicy and was seasoned nicely. I had hoped there would be more grilled meat options at the buffet as I had heard great things about Tikka Guys. The rest of the dishes tasted just ok and nothing particularly stood out. The buffet was definitely not worth the $20 price tag. The restaurant was packed beyond the capacity of what this place could safely handle. Seating was tight and cramped. 30 minutes after I arrived they announced the buffet was open. A mad dash of about 100+ people ran to the buffet, which had only 1 side open. There were multiple lines merging into 1 line. It was crazy. The restaurant was also extremely hot inside and I was sweating profusely. Overall I was extremely disappointed with the buffet, the logistics of how they handled the buffet, how packed this place was, and the lack of A/C (especially since it was over 100 degrees earlier in the day). I definitely would not be coming back.

The chicken Tikka is awesome! And the weekend buffet is decent. The space is uncomfortable and needs some style and inspiration.

There is plenty of free parking all around. Inside we were seated on one of the booths. They have a lunch buffet for $20/person. Right off the bat, I was hoping they would have a chicken biryani, but they did not. Here is a listing of all that was available: Plain rice, Vegetable Samosa, Veg. Pakoras, Dal Makhni, Navaratan Korma, Chana Masala, Egg Fried Rice, Kadi Pakora, Aloo Baingan Mirch, Chicken Tikka Masala, Goat Curry, Chicken Tandoori, Chili Chicken, Gulab Jaman and Kheer for dessert. I tried a whole variety of items, but my biggest complaint would be all the food was cold. They had burners on the bottom, but it was not properly heated before transferring to the chafing dishes, so all of the food was not the right temperature. The quality of the food is highly affected because of this. I will rate the items based on taste. If they had been warm/hot, I believe they would have been rated higher. The only thing that was fresh was the naan. They brought this out to the table after you picked if you wanted garlic, chili, or plain. Dal Makhni - this was a good consistency and spice. I enjoyed it with the naan. Vegetable Samosa - the filling was okay, but a bit dry. I had to really use the chutneys to eat it. If this was more fresh/hot, I think it would be better. Chana Masala and Egg Fried rice were also average. There was a small kick to the rice, which was a good surprise. The chicken Tikka Masala was average. Again it was cold. The Chicken Tandoori was a little dry. I really liked the taste of the chili chicken, but it was cold so the outer layer became soggy. Overall we enjoyed a day out and not having to cook but I hope they can fix the problem with the food being cold. Not one item was hot. We might come back to try the dishes a la carte to get a better experience.

The eggplant dish was spicy and decent, but not especially memorable. The bread could have been baked a little longer, and the chicken tikka masala, which is usually a standout Indian dish, was just okay. Most spots toss your veggies in like they're launching confetti at a parade, leaving you with one bite of pure lettuce and another of pure existential dread. Not Kareem's.
