First time here today for lunch. The inside was very clean, and the young lady at the counter was very sweet. The reason for only three stars is mostly because I feel like I got a bit shorted. I ordered the chicken Tikka Masala (sp?) and rice. You have to order that item à la cart. So, basically for almost $13 I got seven pieces of chicken, and a bowl of rice (for comparison sake, there is an Indian place 30 seconds south of here that for three dollars less you get more chicken, rice, bread, rice pudding, and a side dish). In fairness, Tikka Guys is much more comfortable inside. That said, I still left hungry. The food was fine, and I will probably give it another try. Next time though, I will order a plate. I went with a group of friends for a Ramadan dinner and honestly I'm never coming back. I never write yelp reviews, but this place was such an abomination that I have to write a review. The food was not enjoyable whatsoever. It tasted absolutely horrible and disgusting. This was the first time having Desi food and it left a bad taste in my mouth. During the buffet, the owner would hide the most popular dish (chicken) and only give it to certain customers. Afterwards, we went to go pay and the gentlemen in front of me in line was being harassed by the owner because he didn't give a tip (I don't blame him). They do have ongoing live events weekly. Some items are reasonably priced others are a little over priced. OMG what a crap. We got there at 9:35 and close at 10:00. The owner said the kitchen is closed but he can only do BBQ. Great place to have both food and entertainment. We went there on Saturday for lunch buffet and the place looked good with all the lights and sound system. The restaurant and the restrooms were very clean. There were lots of dishes to choose from. People were very friendly and the food was delicious. The most interesting and unique thing about this place was that there was this guy on the stage singing and playing his guitar. He was singing in different languages including Spanish and English. I believe most of them were from the 80s-90s and they were my favorites. However, when he started singing "Stayin' Alive" by Bee Gees, it just took me by surprise how good he was. Definitely, recommend this place for Saturday and Sunday buffet. Thumps up!!! read more

This is definitely a very nice place to try! The owner is a very nice man who took our order and made sure we had good vegetarian options available! The Dal Tarka and Bhindi masala are worth mentioning! They took special care in making Bhindi Masala and everything tasted super yummy and hot food was served! Overall excellent experience for me my husband and my Parents.Being a vegetarian it's usually difficult for us to find hot Rice and Dal Tarka and Vegetarian curries late in the night but I give this place 5 stars as they took utmost care and the result was excellent! Went to their weekend (not normally scheduled on a certain day) buffet plus music/concert for free last night. It took a bit for the food to all get ready while the music acts were warming up but, my goodness, the food was just.. wow! Everything was hot and tasty with a perfect amount of spice. The veg and non veg entrees were fantastic and went perfectly with the all you can eat naan / chicken biryani. I didn't exactly know what was available besides some of the tikka and paneer items but I do know it was all delicious. If you can check out their buffet, go to the one in the evening! It is advertised on their Facebook page what time performances will be and you may need to reserve a spot on Facebook so that the owner knows you are coming. When I went, it was basically almost full of people including friends and family of the musical act. In total, it was 19.99 for unlimited drinks, naan, a bunch of veg/non-veg choices (beef, chicken tikka, grilled chicken, palak paneer, okra, lentils, etc.), raita, salad, and post-meal dessert option of carrot pudding, kheer, and chai. I would say they probably may need to organize a bit better as far as the lines go and letting people know when the food will be ready and all that but I definitely enjoyed my experience here because it was quite fun and the people in attendance all had fun as well even if I didn't understand the music really because the atmosphere was great and the food was great as well with constant refills of things that were going empty. I suggest trying this out if you can or are in the area on Saturday or Friday night. You won't regret it! Every time I'm shopping at Vons, I see Tikka Guys next door and say to myself, "I gotta try this place next time." Next time is finally here. Since we are cooking all on Saturday, the hubby wanted to go out tor dinner. I found that Tikka Guys are in the 2019 Entertainment Book so we decided to go (FYI - the business is no longer accepting this coupon as they only signed up for it in 2016 Book yet Entertainment Book continues to print the coupon). They have a variety of Indian, Pakistani, and Persian dishes. I usually try koobideh to gauge a restaurant, but I saw that they had Mutton Biryani on the menu. I had to get that. It was tasty but so spicy. I had biryani many times but this was the first time I had it spicy. The owner rescued me out by bringing some yogurt out. It helped extinguish the flames. The hubby ordered the Beef Seekh Kebab. It's like koobideh but spicy. Even though it was spicy, he loved it. He cleaned up his plate in no time! We also ordered some garlic naan. OMG! This was the best garlic naan I've ever had. It was super bubbly and the texture was perfectly crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. UPDATE FROM 11 MONTHS AGO: I STILL haven't tried this place. My coworkers and I have anticipated for this place to open especially since it's very close by to our work. Last Monday was my birthday and our plan was to order food from Tikka Guys to celebrate. My coworker called around 12 noon so that we can place our orders and pick it up. A couple of disappointments: #1: I wanted to get a half chicken and half beef koobideh. What happened? The employee said "we don't have that right now." #2: another coworker of mine wanted to get the lamb kebob. What happened? The employee said "we don't have that one either. We get a new shipment this Friday." THEN my coworker asked "what do you have then??" No response. Very disappointed with this new joint. Like how can you not have what's on your menu at the beginning of the work week??! Another disappointment was their grand opening week. One of my coworkers and I passed by the place walking back from Vons and we noticed the door was open. So I went in there and saw employees and asked "when is your grand opening?" One of the employees said "oh Wednesday!" I wanted to make sure and I was asked "you mean tomorrow? (which was Wednesday)" and she said yes. I gathered our work crew so that we all can go for the grand opening but as we tried opening the door, it was locked and all the lights were off. Then a man opens and says "sorry we're not open yet. I've had a terrible experience with Indian & Pakistani food before, but I was willing to try it again. So, we came here, close to home. Glad we did. Came in on Friday night, they had entertainment, live music and buffet. This place has great food in their buffet. They had the naan bread that was amazingly fresh! They a grilled chicken that had amazing spices & flavor. Overall, I'm glad my wife & I came! I'd definitely come back. Oh, and the customer service was amazing! I have been 2 times now and the first time the menu wasn't really ready so they didn't have tikka masala and I had to get rice and a chicken kabob. The rice was dry and so was the kabob. My friend's rice was also dry but the kabob was moist and flavorful. So not sure what happened there. The second time I went over I didn't get the special. I got Tikka Masala and wow it was very expensive I ended up paying $18.17 for naan bread, rice, and tikka masala I could easily go further down the street to Punjabi Tandoor and pay half the price and all of that would be included. I think they need to work better pricing out because I feel even though it was much better the second time I think it was very over-priced. I think the next time I go over will have to be for the buffet to get my monies worth. Overall good food but they are still very new and working things out with pricing and consistent food quality. read more

I love this place. I go here often and have only gotten the tikka chicken. I can say that it's hands down some of the best chicken of any kind I have had. They grill it to perfection with the perfect combination of sauces. I don't ever eat or dine there, always to go so I don't know much about their service for dining there but they are very courteous, fast and responsive when I go there to pick up my food. Looking for some good food after a long afternoon in the heat, we went to Tikka Guys on a Friday evening. It was a pretty non descript exterior, but the inside was much larger than expected. You place your order at the counter...they even have a deli case beside the register which shows you many of the kebab items ready to be cooked. We ordered the Chicken Biryani and the Chicken Kabob. The Biryani did not come with a salad and unfortunately did not come with much chicken either....just a large plate of colorful, and very spicy, rice. It was good..but I wish it had a bit more protein and I could have used a tab bit less spice. The kabob was served with a salad and rice.....the chicken was very flavorful and rice very fluffy. Overall, I would it was the better of the two choices. It is hard to rate much anything around the service as everything is essentially self serve including the drinks...but we did get our food pretty fast. Looks like they have entertainment on the weekends and a buffet option....I would give this a try again, but try some other items. read more
