Flavorful Mediterranean! Their website describes their menu as Mediterranean/ Mexican Fusion. I think Mexican Fusion is a bit of a stretch. They have Picante (pico de gallo) and black beans. That is the extent of the "Mexican Fusion." Maybe they can put your Gyro meat in a tortilla wrap (not sure). But, that's it, period! What they do have is very good Mediterranean food. This is a small one man operation (Kevin the owner). Kevin is a super friendly guy whom likes to visit with his customers. He will gladly tell you about his Mediterranean food offerings and help you decide on a meal if you are unfamiliar with some of the dishes. You can quickly tell that he has pride and ownership in his restaurant. The deli is an order at the counter, and pick up the food at the counter. The menu is limited, but what they do have is very good! The only item I was not familiar with was the Raita. I had to try it! Spicy Good! We had the Gyro with fries and the Chicken Kabab Plate with a side of Falafels. The Gyro was good as were the perfectly cooked fries that came with it. It was a big Gyro and pile of fries. You can load your Chicken Kabab plate with a selection of 5 items; beans or rice and 4 other items. This is where it gets a little confusing. Anyway, I went with Tabbouleh, Tzatziki Sauce, Hummus and Raita. The dips were served up a little different than I am used to. They were spread on the rice and then two large chicken kababs were placed on top. You can get the sauces on the side if you ask. There was nothing bland on this plate. The chicken kabab is ground chicken blended with onions and spices; then grilled. Fantastic flavors! The dips too were loaded with spice and magnificent flavor. The Falafels were extraordinary. Coarsely ground garbanzo beans blended with generous amounts of spice and fried to a flawless crunchy texture! The Chicken Kabab, the sauces (especially the Raita) and the Falafels are recommended. It all leaves an appetizing garlicky, Mediterranean spice taste in your mouth at the end of the meal! read more

Food was peculiar and less fusion, more so amalgamation. I did not get what I ordered. Without telling me, my server would give me a side or two and then say I only have X amount of sides remaining per entree. I would tell him I wanted Y but he would give me something completely random. I was so shocked and yet mortified and just in a state of wanting to get it all over with, I decided to not protest. I used a Groupon that has in fine print that the customer spend at least $20. Putting that in the fine print and being inflexible rubbed me the wrong way. While it did not take much for me to arrive at that figure, the principle of it left me quite dissatisfied. Lastly, the restaurant is somewhat off the beaten path and not in an ideal part of town. My boyfriend and I have been traveling for days and decided to stop into Tikka Kabab for some dinner while we continued our journey. When we arrived it was closed and as we were trying to figure out where to go instead - Khalid came out! He said he couldn't have us going off without a hot meal and proceeded to go in, turn the alarm off, and make us a couple of fresh hot meals we got chicken, hummus, pita, baklava and more! My husband and I had an excellent experience at this establishment, our food was very good and our favorite item was the gyro, we also had the baklava, chicken samosas, and a Mexican chicken tikka platter (they have many toppings options and one was Mexican, so we had to try it. The black beans were amazing). The gyro and platter combo came with fries which seemed to be hand-cut and were excellent quality. What we didn't finish we took to-go, and we will definitely be back for the gyros because they blew us away. This is a decent spot. Locally owned and operated this Mediterranean inspired spot took the spot that used to be Kimmys diner. This is set up much like a subway, chipotle or qdoba in the way you order and construct your meal. There isn't any table service here. The food is pretty yummy but I found it to not be what I've had at other places. You'll find the typical gyros and platters you'd expect to find though. When I got my gyro at first I was sad about what I thought was a lack of meat. I made up for it in size and flavor by adding a lot of condiments. I especially enjoyed tabouli and the spicy tzatziki sauce!!!!! I came in with a groupon and got a discount. I would come back in again and try more things on the menu. read more
