This is the perfect spot to stop before going to a concert at Forest Hills. I came here with a friend on a Saturday around 4:45 p.m. and was not disappointed. It wasn't that crowded at that time to our pleasant surprise. We started off with samosas which were perfectly cooked. The waitress kept trying to bring us more samosas even though we only ordered one. I had the tikka makhani, which was on the sweeter side and could have used a bit more heat. The chili garlic naan, however, was delicious and really brought balance to the meal. The restaurant interior is clean and well-organized. Service was friendly, but on the slower side. Prices were decent for Queens, and the portions pretty large (neither one of us finished our curry).

Yummy! We ordered butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. Food was delicious. They give complimentary chips. The servers were kind, we got our food fast. I loved the ambiance of the store and music. Definitely coming back and trying more!

Great food great service awesome experience Great selection of food. So many items to choose from. I have a sweet spot for savory sweet and tangy food, and this was just that Service was quick, professional, and presence was top notch. Water always filled and a few check ins throughout meal. Inside looked amazing. Very spacious

We've ordered plenty of times from Tikka N Talk and enjoyed their food in the past. However, after tonight's take out order, I may have to order something else. The size of their entrees, particularly the Malai Kofta is small. To add insult to injury, it took an hour past the estimated wait time for them to finish preparing the food for the delivery person.

I love TNT! Even though my first experience here wasn't the best, my 2nd one was awesome. Not only did they get my order right, but they also followed special instructions. In addition, the manager and staff members are extremely pleasant and professional..such a pleasure ordering from here! Good food and good service, what more can you ask for?? :-)

Think we might've found our new go to spot for Indian food in Queens! We had a bit of difficulty locating the restaurant because Google Maps dropped us off at the end of the block, but Tikka N Talk is a little further in and downstairs. We ordered the chicken tikka masala (mild), chicken vindaloo, and chicken biryani. The tikka masala here is SO good, but I think we'll order it a little spicier next time. We were thinking that the vindaloo would be super spicy, and we'd need something mild. The vindaloo was really flavorful & had a kick to it, but we could probably ask them for a bit more spice as well. Portions here are generous, well priced, and there's a good amount of chicken. The chicken biryani was unfortunately the one thing that was just okay to us. None of the flavors/spices were particularly noticeable, and it was a bit bland even with the raita. Highly highly recommend the garlic naan here - SO good. Service was friendly and attentive, and our waitress kindly addressed any questions we had. Cash & card are both accepted. Parking is a bit difficult.

Once again my friends and I returned to this restaurant and were not disappointed. Staff was friendly, courteous and attentive to our needs. Helped us with our meal selections and came home feeling very full. Definitely will come back!

Their lunch special chicken tikka masala is 10/10. The curry is so flavorful and the chicken is super tender -- definitely a must-order. It's also a great bang for your buck. It honestly felt like the chef or recipe may have changed because the butter chicken tasted completely different from what we were used to. It used to be one of our favorites, but this time it was much sweeter than before and lacked the rich, balanced flavor we always loved. On top of that, there were barely any pieces of chicken in the butter chicken, which made it even more disappointing. That said, the chicken vindaloo was still delicious, and both the roti and naan were just as good as before. The staff has always been friendly, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. We're hoping this was just an off day because we've had many great meals here in the past and would love to see the butter chicken return to how it used to be.

Taking over for another desi-owned spot (#1) several years ago, they've done a much better job of capturing an audience by focusing on a niche of Goan inspired foods, along with a slew of classic Indian dishes that span from north to south. The interior is modest and quaint, and a one bright / memorable outdoor setup during the pandemic. The restaurant is not big, but they've managed to cram in a good number of tables to make it place for 30 folks. Takeout and delivery are also very popular, and I've been fortunate to have had all of the above. Some immediate standouts: goan fish curry, xacuti curry, and the caldeen curry are quite excellent and all come from the Indo-Portuguese side of the menu, which are all loaded with flavor. Additionally, the tandoori selection (especially the chicken malai, seekh kebab, and methi salmon) and variety of curries (rogan josh, korma, jalfrezi, makhani, etc.) are also very flavorful. As with many other Indian places, especially ones that cater to the southern palate, there is an excellent vegetarian selection. The saag chana is one of my go-tos, but the peeli dal, bhindi masala, gobi manchurian over their lemon or tomato rice all merit a big thumbs up. Ownership has likely changed since their initial start, which explains why the staff and "family owned" management has all gotten different looks before and after the pandemic. The other major issue has been pricing, which definitely feels premium at $21-23, for portions that sometimes feels like the size of a hockey puck. The product is still good and the pickins in Sunnyside (#2) are slim, so I realize that for some people, this is the only (Indian) game in town. ___________ (#1) Biriyani House: https://www.yelp.com/biz/biriyani-house-sunnyside (#2) Unless of course, we're counting all the Nepalese spots that also serve Indian cuisine.
