This is an update to my previous review. The food is great and the portions are awesome. I like dining at restaurants that give large portions because I like having leftovers. When I went back to this location, the owner was there; the point-of-sale system was messed up. But low and behold Hannah was there. I have to go back not just because of the food but Hannah's service is out of this world. She apologized because every time I go, there's some sort of an issue (first time they ran out primary ingredients, the second time they POS was not cooperating). She made sure that my coupon/voucher was redeemed and made me my plate of food. Awful prices for awful food. I spent 13 dollars on bad tikka masala (they charged me $2 extra for a scoop more of masala because I have food allergies and can't eat rice or starch fries) when I could have gotten quality tikka masala for much less from a high quality indian restaurant. Went shopping with my family last night and we got hungry before arrival I warned them about this place to stay away . I walked in an immediately noticed they had different staff , hoping to speak with the owner I went to speak to the cashier. She told me the owner wasn't in but she could take my name and number I declined and went into telling her about my previous experience. She apologized for the inconvenience and asked me to give it another try . She said if I didn't like it she would personally pay for my meal out of pocket . She recommended karhee chicken bowl with garlic nan. That's what I ordered and it was ABSOLUTELY delightful. There was a Indian man cooking and he did a great job . The service was overall a lot better I was greeted with a smile and the employees looked happy and like they enjoy working joking with each other having fun working .There energy was great ! Really underrated place in the food court at Victoria Gardens. I have to admit, the pictures of the food items next to the menu kind of make it look unappealing/ unprofessional. I decided to try a multitude of things. I got the Chicken Tikka Naan tacos which is one of there fusion foods. I also got the chicken samosas and a mango lassi. My total came out to 15 dollars. This isn't your traditional Indian food so just throwing it out there. Food did not take too long and the guys working there were very friendly. Order didn't take too long and the chicken tikka naan tacos were good, but the chicken samosas stole the show. For 4 dollars, you get 3 chicken samosas with the mint sauce and it is heavenly. Additionally the mango lassi was better than most Indian places that serve it as well. My only complaint is I wish the garlic naan for the tacos was more hot and not room temperature. Other than that I'd definitely come back and hope you guys give it a try! read more

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and ended up waiting more than 30 minutes for our food. We ordered a lamb biriyani, 2 naan tacos and a tikka masala fries. After waiting 30 minutes we received our biriyani and tacos but never received our fries. They said it would be ready in a few minutes and then completely forgot about us. We finally just gave up and asked for a refund for the fries. The food was overall okay. Nothing special. If your going to spend this much hassle over lunch, might as well go to a real Indian restaurant and get full service. Pretty expensive for mediocre food. $14 for biriyani?!? It costs less in a full service restaurant. No return business from us. read more

Pretty good Indian food. I forget the name of what I ordered but it was a rice with spicy chicken mixed in and veggies on the side and a order of garlic naan bread . It was a big portion as well and I ended up eating half for lunch and the other half for dinner. The cashier could be a little more friendly. I was there with a friend and she seemed really friendly while describing what was in the food to him but once I moved over to order she just walked away. When she finally came back I had some questions and she didn't seem as friendly when she answered mine. Overall food was pretty good though, I would eat here again but would like to see better customer service to ALL guests. read more

Walked in to this little spot in Victoria gardens. Heard of tikka Marsala but when I saw they had it in fries I just had to try! Sam the cashier, also served as my cook, good to see employees multitasking shows flexibility. On to the food, what can I say, the beverage : mint lemonade is divine, super refreshing and the fries are just wow. Usually there's not the right amount of crunch in the fries but this place has no problem with that. The topping, very flavorful good curry to chicken ratio. Fantastic experience, food, and employee. I'm always searching for great Indian food, and Tikka doesn't disappoint. The Tikka Masala with paneer may be the best I've had. The samosas are fresh and seasoned perfectly. My review would be better if I hadn't eaten at the Claremont location previously and had nothing to compare it to. In terms of mall food court options, Tikka is probably your best bet and you can get a decent, fresh meal here for cheap. However, after knowing what once was, I just can't get behind the food at this location. The chicken tikka lacks the spice it once had, and the naan tacos are a sad (but delicious) replacement for the chicken tikka wraps from before. I'll still be eating here to get my Pakistani food fix, albeit reluctantly. read more
