My friend had to pull off some serious reservation magic to secure a spot, and when we arrived, I watched a steady stream of walk-ins get turned away. They also keep things running on a tight schedule, so don't plan on lingering too long about 1.5 hours in, we got the polite nudge that our table was needed for the next wave of diners. The reviews here are correct, the Dutch baby and eggs Benedict and absolutely worth it. The eggs Benny came on this rectangular croissant-like waffle with bacon tucked into the squares. The Dutch baby was perfection light, custardy, drizzled with maple syrup, and served with a whole lemon to sprinkle on top. They are like large inside out flat custard Malasadas from Leonard's with powdered sugar not granulated sugar for those that have been to Hawaii to have that island fav. Service was also top-notch. I came here on a Sunday at 11am with a friend and no reservation. The hostess was very kind and was able to get us on the list for bar seating at 12:15pm. Luckily Tilikum is close to the Space Needle, so we were able to go on a walk and enjoy the nice weather before actually coming in to eat. Tilikum Place Cafe is so cute! It's quite small and popular, so I would recommend planning ahead. By the time we arrived back at 12:10, they already had a board that stated they were no longer accepting walk in's and fully booked for the rest of the day. I was incredibly excited to try their famous Dutch babies! We ordered one sweet and one savory. The sweet one had a huckleberry compote and was delicious with maple syrup. Cute little brunch spot! They are known for their Dutch babies, which are quite good and come in different flavors. Their baked eggs are really good too and ended up being my favorite dish! Both come out sizzling and delicious Reservations for brunch are hard to get so would recommend grabbing one in advance. I have to update my brunch review after returning to TPC for dinner - what a terrific culinary and customer experience! My friends and I attended an event at the Center Theater and despite not having reservations, we decided to try our luck at TPC. Boy, were we glad we did! (Tip - one typically needs reservations, but I've been told that there are often no-shows, so your chances of being seated for a spontaneous visit are pretty decent.) Similar to my earlier review, customer service here is just dynamite. Friendly, engaging, knowledgeable, and FUN. Even though we arrived about 45 minutes before closing, we were not rushed, and received full and attentive service. The dinner options are just as intriguing as brunch. My entree was phenomenal- tender sautéed greens with lentils mixed in, topped with a celery root soufflé. Great texture. with a subtle yet unmistakable flavor. Just delish. The dessert was also a great choice. Chocolate bread pudding? How can that be unusual? Serve it on top of a luscious puddle of caramel spiked with tahini! We strolled in here in a weekday for brunch. We got lucky since the website recommends making reservations. The space is small (about 11 tables) and there is a 90 minute dine-in time limit. Very friendly service! Our server Chris was great and was very patient with us taking a little longer to decide. In the end we went with the savory Dutch babies, the eggs Benedict, and the coconut chiffon cake. The Dutch babies take a little while to come out. I watched several other tables come in later and get their eggs Benedict before my Dutch babies came out. But is it delicious! The flavor profile is a bit like chicken and waffles. It comes with a little pot of syrup. How can you go wrong with cheese and puff pastry? The eggs Benedict may have been the best we've ever had! In particular that orange sauce it comes with is divine! This really was a standout dish and I see why it seemed every other table ordered it too. The coconut chiffon cake was also good! I was in town to see a friend who was visiting Seattle for a couple days. I live up in Bellingham and rarely make it down here--I'm usually more of a Vancouver person--but we met up at KEXP and wandered around the neighborhood. I'll admit, I sometimes find Seattle oddly underwhelming food-wise compared to other cities of a similar size, so I'm always pleasantly surprised when I discover a real gem. This place definitely qualifies. I ordered the chicken salad, which was more of a deconstructed mix of chicken salad served over greens, and it was seriously delicious. One thing I occasionally wonder about restaurants in this region is whether they know what salt (or spices) are--but that was absolutely not the case here. The dish had perfectly balanced salty bites alongside fresh greens and potatoes. I think the olives might have been part of what made it pop, but whatever the combination was, it worked beautifully. We ordered the classic and savory dutch babies, eggs in purgatory, and a side of bacon. We loved the dutch babies, especially the savory one. The version of eggs in purgatory I got was executed well but just wasn't to my preference in terms of flavor profile. I know they change up the eggs and the dutch babies every few weeks so I would try this again next time and see if I like it better then. i did not have a great experience here, but there wasn't anything atrocious. it was all just kind of a "meh" experience. i thought it would be an amazing experience based on how highly reviewed it is, but my party and i were pretty disappointed by the hype. first of all, the place is TINY. i think the restaurant knows and acknowledges this by having several signs saying that they're full and only serve small parties or something. that just added to the hype like, "oh this must be an awesome place to eat at bc there's such high demand for such few seats." but the food wasn't even that good, so i feel like the hype for the limited seating didn't really make sense. it overall felt pretty cramped in there then we had to wait SOOOO LONGGG for our food. the server acknowledged this and said initially that it would take a while for the dutch babies (that are first on the menu and the server said the place is known for) to come out, but actually waiting that whole time was terrible, considering i had a pretty rowdy toddler who was very bored waiting around. i usually just have to keep him entertained with toys or my phone for only a little bit until the food comes out and he's happily eating, but waiting so long was crazy bc then my toddler started climbing up the furniture and throwing his toys around and trying to grab the various things on the table and trying to talk to other guests and everything when the food FINALLY came out, we were all eating, and we all agreed that the food was just sort of... food. it was fine. but we didn't understand the hype. i'll also say that i felt like my pancakes and the sausage had sort of a metallic taste, something that felt kinda machine-y, like you could taste the pan that the food was made with. again, the food wasn't BAD. it just didn't really make an impression i also feel like the service overall was sort of lacking. nothing crazy happened, but several workers there made me feel like they were not happy with us but were keeping it in to try to be nice and professional. like my son dropped some food on the floor, and someone came by and was like, "... i'll just throw this in the trash..." and when we said we didn't need a box for our leftovers, another person pursed her lips but just said "ok." like there wasn't anything overtly wrong with the service, but it just kinda felt like they weren't happy with us. and that could have been because my son was being disruptive, sure, but at most restaurants i go to with him, the staff are nice and understanding that he's literally three-years-old, and i'm so thankful for that. but this felt like our presence was unwanted and inconveniencing them again, nothing crazy bad happened, but it just wasn't overall the greatest experience, and i don't feel like it's worth a recommendation or a visit back read more

5 Stars, my god.... Went here for a January 2026 brunch, and was beyond impressed. How have i never tried this little cafe before?? Tucked away in a small corner of Belltown, you walk in and get a great view of the kitchen with everyone working their stations. I always love when you get to see into the actual kitchen at restaurants, makes the experience so much better. We started with their bloody mary, which came spicy these great dilly bean type green beans, so so good. no notes. For apps/small bite to start we went with their small french onion soup, which was honestly perfect. Broth not overly salty, caramelized onions adding the perfect sweetness and texture, cheese strings pulled a foot long from cup to mouth lol so simple and so good. For mains the girlfriend and I decided to split their savory dutch baby and their dungeness crab omelette. I must say i have been making dutch babies my entire adult life at home and have never seen them on a menu before, so we for sure had to try them. We went with the ham, Gruyère, and arugula option - completely blown away. The eggy pancake comes in a cast iron serving pan (as it should!), which had this perfect crisp outside, and the firm but custardy-inside. The ham added the salt, the arugula added the pepper, and everything just about this dish just worked. bonus points and no notes, would recommend. AND THEN the crab omelette, like my god. I am going to be thinking about this omelette for weeks. It was a perfect french omelette with soft yet firm, salty yet slightly sweat dungeness crab inside. The omelette came with this side of curry ketchup, which i could not stop adding to each omelette/crab bite. The table next to us even ordered a side of the curry ketchup to go lol It also came with a side of seasoned potato wedges and house salad to finish the dish. I just wanted to give a shoutout to the team here. Even on the busiest days the team exudes nothing but kindness. In terms of the food: delicious, all of it. We always come back when we are visiting family in Seattle, typically a table of four, and try new items each time...except the incredible Dutch babies. Very odd experience. Was seated at bar. Was completely ignored by woman behind the bar. I was incredibly hungry and thirsty. She was busy talking to the couple sitting 1 inch away from me at the bar. I feel the stellar rating here may be dominated by brunch; however, dinner was between 3 and 4. I had the baked oysters, carrot ginger soup, and the rack of lamb. This was all ok, nothing struck me as outstanding. The carot soup even closer to 3 stars and the lamb dish suffered from an overdose of bittersalt, an ingredient used to immitate charcoal grilled flavor. This is now my favorite breakfast place in the entire Seattle area, including the Eastside. The sign at the desk said they were booked up, but the man who greeted us found a table for us anyway. The servers were not only prompt and efficient, but playful and endearing. Then my family and I had our best brunch experience since COVID. A comprehensive wine list, featuring terrific Washington bottles from itä Winery and Tranche. The food menu is made up of locally and seasonally sourced ingredients. You never know what's going to be available until you go (or check the instagram!) and for me that's a good enough reason to visit again. Appearances by some of the classic breakfast staples: like eggs benedict, french toast, omelets, pancakes, and quiche, but they are sure to change the menu every week! I had a fresh squeezed oj mimosa and a good quality Americano, served with a complimentary curry-spiced shortbread cookie tucked on a lil spoon on the side. The buckwheat crêpes (apple, brie, butternut squash, sage) were extremely delicious and mixed green side salad was beautiful, perfectly decorated with carrot ribbons. Hands down, the best spot we ate at in Seattle. It's a cute spot with lots of natural light, and parking wasn't a nightmare so that was a plus.
