The staff here is always very polite and friendly. Today we were lucky to come during a party -- it was such a pleasant surprise! This is one of my son's favorite stores, and we're frequent visitors. Thank you for the great atmosphere!

This is one of my favorite rings from there. 1 day and then this

I bought a couple rings and bracelets from here. They were all false gold but I wouldn't imagine for the gold to get off so quickly. I wore a couple gold rings once from there and the moments I looked down to tale a look at my fingers.... The rings were a silver brown color! This place should really focus on making better jewelry. Tillys is still a good cloths store but this review is for the jewelry.

I have been to this location ( http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/tillys-irvine-4?select=6sKnVvaO1MMDDWrD6cF91w#6sKnVvaO1MMDDWrD6cF91w ) on several occasions (mostly because they crank the AC and Kaya loves it during the summer) and I am almost always greeted when I enter the store (i.e.: Hello! Can I pet your dog?)by the friendly staff. Tilly's is a retailer in the action sports industry selling clothing, shoes, and accessories. Their first store opened in 1982 opened and now have 206 stores in 33 states. Tilly's offers a good selection of brands and merchandise in the surf, skate, motocross and lifestyle apparel industries. A partial list of the brands they carry include: Billabong DC Shoes Element Fox Famous Stars and Straps Elwood Globe Shoes Hurley O'Neill Quiksilver Vans Volcom Levi's Blue Crown RsQ Micros Having a good selection can be a two-edged sword if you don't have the space to accommodate the merchandise. This is the case at this location. The aisles (if it fair to call them that) through the store are narrow and somewhat difficult to navigate. Kaya often looks back at me with a "where would you like me to go?" look. Rohlinism: No one wants to feel like they are auditioning for The Maze Hunter while they are doing their shopping! The organization of the store has most of the shoes ( http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/tillys-irvine-4?select=6sKnVvaO1MMDDWrD6cF91w#IL8fM6LTHvOmickJjWt4JQ ) in the front of the store with several brands available. There is a set up ( http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/tillys-irvine-4?select=6sKnVvaO1MMDDWrD6cF91w#U8gsIJu3bkqB7LXY88yhZw ) near the front of the store for skateboards and there is an excellent selection of backpacks ( http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/tillys-irvine-4?select=6sKnVvaO1MMDDWrD6cF91w#mZy-cC1uG4EyBzd5lLHUqQ ) behind behind the registers. Most of the rest of the store seems to be divided between Men's and Women's clothing, accessories and sports apparel. Last Christmas we came here looking (more like hoping) to find a "Eat the Rich" woman's tank top for Erica by Iron Fist. I guess the theory is rich people taste better than poor people ... perhaps they are less gamey? Apparently this was a very difficult item to locate and unfortunately this item was only available at their website. The staff was very helpful, ordered the tank top for us online, had it sent to my wife's office and waived the shipping charge. Although the items aren't exactly my style (I am getting old), the selection is excellent and the staff is always helpful and friendly. If you the above mentioned sports or lifestyle, you should definitely check Tilly's out ... just make sure you bring some string along so you don't get lost in the maze!

After working for the company for a little under 2 years I still find myself swinging in the store to shop as a customer. The service is definitely top notch, I'm always greeted by an associate with a smile. The store is split up nicely, guys on the right, girls on the left. The guys side is well organized with "branded" items in the front of the section and then the third party brands towards the back near the clearance. This visit I came into buy jeans because I dropped 21 pounds during my week long stay in the hospital and my old ones were just hanging around my knees. The Levi's I found were perfect! Nice dark wash, a slim fit (I can't commit to the super tight-cut-off-circulation jeans) and the best part? $12 bucks cheaper than the EXACT same pair at the Levi's store I made my way to the back to try it on where once again an associate placed my item into a fitting room for me. Checking out in line was speedy as well, 4 cashiers and the line moved very quickly, the music that was playing wasn't blaring loud like Hollister but loud enough to where there wasn't an awkward / boring vibe in the store. Even though I don't work here anymore I love coming back to visit my ex co-workers and picking up new threads at the same time -1 star for cramped and tight sections while you shop, too many tables are in the walk ways!!

    Dr Martens Blaire leather sandal

I wanna shout out the manager of this place named Hailey (sorry if I spelled it wrong). I was looking all over for some Dr Marten sandals and nowhere near the place I was staying in Anaheim had them. So we took the drive to the spectrum center. While in the store, she noticed me looking at the shoes. She was on her way to the cash register I believe, but she stopped to ask me if I needed a specific shoe & size. I was stuck between size 7 & 8, but I only asked for the 7. She definitely read my mind though cause she went to the back and came out with a size 8 as well lol. She gave me her opinion and even suggested I run around the store with them on to see if I was comfortable in them. She had such lovely customer service. She was very bubbly, attentive and kind! Go Hailey!

    Not a bad deal.

If you expect a quick answer over the phone, don't bother. They'll just put you on hold and will forget about you.

That being said, I am kind of put off by the staff that I've encountered on two trips. As I was checking out yesterday, I asked if edikted had an app or an email listing in hopes of maybe getting a coupon. The clerk turned towards I would assume to someone who was in higher authority and he shook his head no. As I started my way home, I happened to look it up and they do in fact have an app that offers a welcome coupon that you can stack. I thought that was incredibly misleading on his part. I absolutely am in love with the pants I got, but I ended up buying them online. Even with my coupon, it ended up being $10 cheaper than in store. I had to make a whole other separate trip to return my first pair. This could have all been avoided if you were clear about the app. There is a possibility that they weren't aware, but I find that hard to believe if you're in higher authority you wouldn't know. I work in customer service and totally get being overwhelmed. But this felt strange. Not particularly good vibes that would make me want to shop here again.

There's a lovely attendant named Natalia who has helped us the last few visits and I now know to look for her as soon as we walk in. My daughter wanted several items in specific colors tonight, and Natalia knew exactly where everything was. She made great suggestions on sizing for my slender daughter and made it a very easy shopping trip, especially since I no longer have the stamina to browse like a teen.

Tbh it felt like I was low key getting hate crimed for my gender because I AM A MAN and Garage is solely for females. MIND YOU, I didn't even take a SINGLE STEP inside the fitting room, I was waiting for my bestie outside. Also, KEEP IN MIND, these fitting rooms are exposed like there's no door or barricade that separates the main floor and the fitting rooms. It's entirely exposed and the female sales associate is monitoring it on your left. Also, each fitting room has its own booth and its covered by curtains. Anywho, that's beside the point. MIND YOU, I am just a gay man who was accompanying their female bestie to try on jeans and I was respectfully waiting for her outside. I didn't even take a SINGLE STEP inside, I was waiting for her OUTSIDE but I am near enough. Then, as she came out and she's looking at herself in the mirror and I'm giving her my opinion, I respectfully asked the female sales associate if I can go inside so I can take a proper look at the jeans she's trying on but she ignored me so then I asked again the second time and she still rolled her eyes, didn't acknowledge me and I was ignored. Then, my bestie respectfully asked her if I can step inside as well and that's when she answered and said no. In conclusion, I understand the reason why she said no to me because it's weird for a man to be in a all female fitting room and if it was the other way around, I would've found it weird too but KEEP IN MIND, I work in luxury retail and I know if my bestie and I were at a Nordstrom or a Bloomingdale's or like some luxury boutique, the sales associate wouldn't be as rude as the Garage employee was to me. Though I fully understand the decline of me stepping inside, the sales associate didn't have to have a rude demeanor. Plus, not just her all her other female coworkers didn't have to look at me weird or look me up and down. It's just so unprofessional and not welcoming at all. The only thing I'll shout out is the one female employee who helped my bestie pick the right kind of jeans and to clarify the sizing of their jeans. So, thank you to you. I forgot their name but they were super helpful.
