This place is a hit or miss and on this visit this was a hit! I got so many cool things that I never thought I would see in the store. There was a gem that you can put on your teeth. The service could be improved immensely. this incident happened a year ago but I can't shake it out of my head. so the majority of the staff are teenage/early 20's women and I'm guessing the older white woman with sandy hair that kept staring at me as I shopped was the manager. The staff kept ignoring me and were hanging out like a clique and when the manager came up to me and I said yes I need this in this size. she called one of the girls over and the girl literally rolled her eyes , she tasked one of the girls to help me. This girl was really reluctant to help me to the fitting room . Making sounds like ughh and oh my gawd. When I came out of the fitting room three of the staff were in a huddle giggling and as I approached them they dispersed. the one girl that was tasked to help me I told her hey can I have this in a different size and she kept giggle and I repeated can I have this in... she giggled again louder and looked at the manager who was standing far away and then back to me she looked me dead in my eyes and said SHE THINKS YOUR STEALING. she kept giggling and walked away. I was so uncomfortable I hurried up to the counter to check out. one of the girls working the cash register says "don't I know you? haven't you been here before?" I said NO, I'm in the military I'm not even from this state! their whole demeanor changed. they told me oh we have a discount for you. looking back I hate that I even purchased something from this store. I just tell my military friends on camp Pendleton avoid it unless you want to be profiled. there's other tillys with better customer service . read more

It's laid out well and organized so it's easy to find which section you're looking for. You're greeted upon entry, and offered help. If you're just browsing, they leave you alone unless you need them. The store is kept neat and tidy, and there's a good sized selection of clothing and accessories. I bought a couple rings and bracelets from here. They were all false gold but I wouldn't imagine for the gold to get off so quickly. I wore a couple gold rings once from there and the moments I looked down to tale a look at my fingers.... The rings were a silver brown color! This place should really focus on making better jewelry. Went on a busy Sunday evening for back to school shopping, everyone there was super nice , friendly and helpful. The store was easy to navigate and find sizes both on shirts and jeans, the workers were keeping up with cleaning after the customers. The cashier that helped us was just wonderful and she didn't treat us just like another customer she was interacting with us and just being super pleasant, she did an awesome job. I stood in line to check out. All checkers were with customers. When I got to the front. The next 2 checkers that became open walked away from their registers. Hello still standing here waiting for service. There were people that lined up after me even soooooo I guess that means they're so busy needing to do other things to put stuff away than hell the people still waiting in line. Couldn't believe it. Can I pet your dog?)by the friendly staff. Tilly's is a retailer in the action sports industry selling clothing, shoes, and accessories. Their first store opened in 1982 opened and now have 206 stores in 33 states. Tilly's offers a good selection of brands and merchandise in the surf, skate, motocross and lifestyle apparel industries. A partial list of the brands they carry include: Billabong DC Shoes Element Fox Famous Stars and Straps Elwood Globe Shoes Hurley O'Neill Quiksilver Vans Volcom Levi's Blue Crown RsQ Micros Having a good selection can be a two-edged sword if you don't have the space to accommodate the merchandise. This is the case at this location. The aisles (if it fair to call them that) through the store are narrow and somewhat difficult to navigate. Kaya often looks back at me with a "where would you like me to go?" look. Rohlinism: No one wants to feel like they are auditioning for The Maze Hunter while they are doing their shopping! I guess the theory is rich people taste better than poor people ... perhaps they are less gamey? Apparently this was a very difficult item to locate and unfortunately this item was only available at their website. The staff was very helpful, ordered the tank top for us online, had it sent to my wife's office and waived the shipping charge. Although the items aren't exactly my style (I am getting old), the selection is excellent and the staff is always helpful and friendly. After working for the company for a little under 2 years I still find myself swinging in the store to shop as a customer. The service is definitely top notch, I'm always greeted by an associate with a smile. The store is split up nicely, guys on the right, girls on the left. The guys side is well organized with "branded" items in the front of the section and then the third party brands towards the back near the clearance. This visit I came into buy jeans because I dropped 21 pounds during my week long stay in the hospital and my old ones were just hanging around my knees. The Levi's I found were perfect! Nice dark wash, a slim fit (I can't commit to the super tight-cut-off-circulation jeans) and the best part? $12 bucks cheaper than the EXACT same pair at the Levi's store I made my way to the back to try it on where once again an associate placed my item into a fitting room for me. Checking out in line was speedy as well, 4 cashiers and the line moved very quickly, the music that was playing wasn't blaring loud like Hollister but loud enough to where there wasn't an awkward / boring vibe in the store. I walk in and the Cashier yells out welcome, within 5 seconds another kid yells at me "Yo, we're closed" and stares at me when I told him the door is open and there was no closed sign. I think the management should train these kids, it's not their mom's living room I walked into, it's a clothing store at a mall. I was really angry at this kid! I wanna shout out the manager of this place named Hailey (sorry if I spelled it wrong). I was looking all over for some Dr Marten sandals and nowhere near the place I was staying in Anaheim had them. So we took the drive to the spectrum center. While in the store, she noticed me looking at the shoes. She was on her way to the cash register I believe, but she stopped to ask me if I needed a specific shoe & size. I was stuck between size 7 & 8, but I only asked for the 7. She definitely read my mind though cause she went to the back and came out with a size 8 as well lol. Warning - if you order anything from Tillys and have it shipped to your house you better plan on having it stolen by Ontrac, the dishonest delivery service the use. Ontrac will mark your package delivered when it isn't and then steal it. You'll never see it, then you'll spend days trying to resolve it with Tillys because Ontrac doesn't answer their phone. (one hour on hold). Why would Tillys throw their customers under the bus like this by using a lying stealing delivery service? Shame on you Tillys. You ruined my sons day. 1800+ yelp reviews Ontrac customers who never got their merchandise. Let's start with the sales associate, three of them that we were able to find told us that they started yesterday, that wouldn't be bad if they had any intention to stay with us,and try to help us out, they could learn something and I could get what I need it, but no they decided to keep folding shirts. Now, the checkout & manager WHAT A COMBO!!! Sunday 8/12/18 closing shift if anyone in the company is interested in following in up. First the cashier, ring the items, they come up at full price, so we explained him that there is a sign in the rack that stays 20% off boys pants, he responds that its "selected styles", I get it that gets you off the hook for a poor display but when a rack is 3/4 full of the same items in different sizes and colors I have to understand that THAT'S THE ITEM DISCOUNTED. So he respond if we want a "discount" I say no I don't want a discount I want the offer that is up in the racking where all the pants are... At this point and with a very poor attitude from the cashier, we ask for the manager, the cashier calls the mamger like this "MOD YOU HAVE A CUSTOMER TO DEAL WITH" DEAL, you don't DEAL with customers you TAKE CARE of customers. When the manager comes to the checkout she started talking to the cashier, WE HAD THE PROBLEM no the cashier, the manager didn't introduce herself, when I asked her that we wanted to talk to her not the cashier, she rolled her eyes. We left extremely frustrated, we felt that not even the manager wanted to take care of us at that point. We stopped talking and left the merchandizing on the counter. Tilly's is a very fun environment to shop for, but a lot of the store is geared towards middle to high schoolers. There are quite a few nice shirts, jackets, and shorts to choose from that work for a more mature audience. The true gems, however, are the RSQ (pronounced like "rescue") pants. They are stretchy, comfortable, and fit really well. Definitely go in to try them on, you won't regret it. There are tons of options and they have multiple major brands such as Adidas, Nike, Vans, etc. I really do think that there is something for everyone that's looking for a classic SoCal-type look. read more

One of my favorite stores to shop at for clothes! It's fun to just browse at their selection and unique styles. Spring and summer collections are the best, and I especially love their shorts. The store's layout was blatantly designed by an a.d.h.d riddled 12 year old boy. A boy who, while in the process of designing the store inexplicably decided that customers will enjoy negotiating a labyrinth whilst searching for a pair of boardies. Coupled with a staff, however friendly, that is more knowledgable on the undulating music being pounded into your head from above than the products they are hawking and you have a recipe for a miss. I appreciate that this is a local store and I have purchased a jacket from here that has had many goes. It was a jacket that was a sale item and it has since began falling apart. The prices are way above market value and I recommend giving this place a pass. read more

I ordered a longboard from Tilly's on 12/20 I paid for 2 day FedEx shipping to find out that they didn't send out the package until the 23rd when the emailed told me I would get my package on the 23rd so then I called told them if I could pick it up from the warehouse they said no because it was already shipped but it wasn't FedEx didn't even have it and so now I still haven't received it and it now 12/30 I want a refund for my package never shopping here EVER. read more

A nice store, nothing to special. I have been to multiple Tilly's before, and with Tilly's.com right across the way, I expect a lot more. The store was clean and sorta organized. The employees were hit or miss. Some were nice and helpful and others could care less about you or your business. With how big the store is, I would expect it to have more of a selection. There were not very many shirts that were my size (large). I saw a ton of extra large shirts. Overall, I suggest visiting quicksilver down the way. You will better luck with more friendly people and a better selection of clothes. read more

I love the service from Tilly's. They ask you if you need anything, show you, and then leave you alone. They don't pester you like other clothing stores. Which is always nice. More than $300 had been charged to my account by tillys, even though I've never even heard of the place until now and I live on the opposite side of the country! I then did a quick search online and found similar complaints about this place dating back YEARS. Be smart and be safe: DO NOT trust these people with your credit/debit card info.
