If I could describe Gosch Ford of Hemet in one word it would be: Horrible!!! I built on the Ford website a 2011 Ford Explorer the way me and my wife would like it and the website connected me with Gosch Ford since it was the closest dealership to us. About two days later I got a phone call setting up a time and date we could come down and test drive one. It was scheduled for a Sunday at 5pm and we were told to go in and tell them our names and that we had an appointment as part of the VIP program. When we got there, a salesman approached us and asked if he could help us. I explained to him we had an appointment as part of the "VIP Program" and he had no clue what that was or who we were. He took us to the internet department and passed us off to the secretaries there. The secretaries proceeded to call another salesman who was equally confused and knew nothing about any appointment. Needless to say he started showing us the 2011 Ford Explorer's only to find out a few minutes into it that he really worked selling the Hyundai's over there and didn't know much about the Ford's. He again passed us off, this time back to the original salesman who had approached us. This guy was very knowledgeable and actually answered a lot of my questions and showed me quite a bit that I didn't know about the My Ford Touch system. Next, I had come prepared with the printout of the vehicle I had built on Ford.com to show them what i was looking for. They told me don't worry, they will search the entire United States data base and find the vehicle i was looking for. They brought me one printout and told me this was the only one in the U.S. close enough to all the things I wanted. After much back and forth on colors and options, me and my wife were prepared to settle on that vehicle. I told him I wanted to put part of the down payment on credit card since I get rewards points and I'll put some cash if they want as well. I was told I couldn't do that and i asked them why it wasn't possible since my in-laws just put down $15,000 on their American Express for a BMW. I only wanted to put $3-4,000 down on my card. That's when this guy named Israel from finance came over. He shook my hand as hard as he could and started talking very loud almost to the point of yelling about how it was illegal to put a down payment on a credit card. When I say talking loud I'm not exaggerating. People all over started looking over at me and my wife being confronted in that showroom area. I explained to him other dealerships do it and he said it's illegal and it's a criminal matter! I couldn't believe what i was hearing. He told me because there is no collateral I could then put a down payment and turnaround and file bankruptcy, essentially stealing from the credit card company and getting a car for free. This guy had the nerve to imply that me and my wife were attempting something criminal and that we would default on our credit card. I asked if it was just their dealerships policy not to accept credit card and he said no that is was illegal everywhere. He proceeded to rant and rave about how he came from National City, San Diego (I assumed to show how tuff he was and that he had seen crime before). Anyhow, I asked him how it's possible that in the whole U.S. there is only one 2011 Ford Explorer the way we want it (Limited, 4 wheel drive, etc.). That's when he laughed and said there were two more in Colorado. I asked him how come he hasn't shown me those as well? He angrily replied that he was not going to ship them. I told him I would pay for shipping and he refused. Instead he went off about how it cost $800 alone to ship form Arizona and refused even when I told him to let me worry about shipping and that I would find a shipping company. This pretty much ended our high octane conversation and he said he has to check to see if the dealership even still had the vehicle we were negotiating on. He said he had my cell phone number and he would call me that evening or the next day. Needless to say, it's been a week and he never called back. Just some background on me, they ran my credit that day and i was in the low 700's which made me tier 1 credit. I have been in my construction supervisor job for 12 years and had 15-20% down payment cash available. As soon as i walked out i called 3 other dealerships in my area. Palm springs, Fontana, and San Bernardino Ford. All three dealerships told me they accept down payment on a credit card if i wanted and could not understand why they told me it was criminal to do so. The next day Fairview Ford in San Bernardino, CA found me the car I was looking for and negotiated the deal. Down Payment.... on my credit card. If you must go to Gosch Ford in Hemet, the saleman on the floor are nice and knowledgeable, but beware of Israel in Finance. He will try to bully you into a deal the way he wants it. Not the way you as a customer want it. My advice, shop somewhere else where the customer is treated with respect and dignity. read more

Before I went here I went to small mechanic shop where they were giving me a bunch of BS of what could have been the issue with my car I ended up saying screw this. So I ended up going to the dealer I talk to raul arroyo which assisted me and helping me diagnose my vehicle without giving me any BS like the other mechanic did. He figured it out right away what was wrong with my vehicle has a small electrical issue he let me know what it was he took care of that problem it was a bit expensive but it was worth the five star service and not dealing with the BS from small mechanics. So I rather pay the dealership price just so I don't have to deal with people's BS. I would recommend this place to anybody and ask for that guy he was a big help. One thing that comes to my mind remember you get what you pay for and at the end if I would have probably won't let the small mechanic shop I would have probably ended up paying a lot more. I don't know if the other people here at the Hemet service center we are as helpful but I recommend this employee. He's a bit grungy looking but he was a big help. read more

I will admit I have horrible credit so I was surprised they got us into something and as cheap as they did. Anyways I give these guys five stars because they have went out of their way to help us with anything they can. They are not to pushy and will not get you in a car that you really cant afford, they only want to help you. My relatives and I have bought three vehicles at this location all through Edmund he is great...If you go here make sure you ask for Edmund, I went back yesterday to pick up my other car alarm and he washed our car again. We just bought a new Mustang from Gosch Ford. We went through the Internet Sales Department and other than all of the cars we test drove, it was a smooth and painless process. Everyone from the sales guys to their manager to the finance department treated us like family (sounds corny but definitely true). We had a firm price in mind and they worked hard to make it happen and make us comfortable with the process. Upon taking delivery of our car a very sweet young lady went through the owners manual and the actual car to show us everything from how to sync our phones to how the lights and wipers worked. I have been taking my Explorer to Gosch since I purchased it from them in February 2013 - ONLY because it's under warranty. Routine maintenance takes HOURS, and the last two times, it's been over 4 hours each time. This last time, it took an additional 1/2 hour to pay. The customer service is terrible!!! I HATE taking my car to them! Then there was grease left on my driver's side door and steering wheel. They wanted to take my car back to clean it. I ended up cleaning it myself. You're better off going almost anywhere else. read more

This is the worse place to take your car/truck ever. In a nut shell I took my 2013 F150 FX4 Ecoboost in for a coolant leak to pay almost $700 which wasn't covered under warranty whatever. That got fixed I think? The problem is when I got it back there was another issue that was not there when I took it in to begin with. They have had the Master mechanic, shop Foreman, Technician and Ford Engineering involved with just putting on parts and still dont know what is wrong. To start they put on 2 turbo's, some air pipes and god knows what else. So after talking to the Service MGR he is about as clueless as they come, by the way has no problem in making the customer happy in any way and just tells you to call Corporate with your concerns. They have had my truck 2 more day is 3 weeks. I am pretty sure that the problem is that they have no idea what the hell they are doing. Here is my biggest concern with all of the parts that they are putting on is that the history report is going to look like this truck has major engine issues and I will have a hard time reselling it when I decide to. read more

I had a very bad experience that kept getting worse. I took an almost new Mustang in for a front turn signal that went out. Since the only way to replace it is to remove the front tire and go from behind the blinker assembley I had to take it in since I did not have the tools. After the blinker was replaced I saw the front end of the car all the way across (left and right side) had been damaged very bad. No dents mainly because most of it is plastic but it had deep scratches and was deeply gouged all the way across. After showing management, they agreed to fix it at their body shop located on the same premises. The job was poorly done but I had to wait a week for that and didn't want to wait any longer. Now a couple months later I took it to a different location because a front tire had a nail in it causing a very slow leak. I have no idea where the nail came from but the shop I took it to in Beaumont had to break off lug nuts because they were extremely tight and that had to be done on purpose. No one had access to my cars tire removal and replacement except Gosch Ford in Hemet. I have bought 3 brand new cars from them and now since this horrible experience, I will never set foot on their lot ever again. read more

They never call you to update you as to the status of your car, they don't care about the customer or what their problems may be. Was on hold for 15 minutes and finally just hung up because no one knew anything about my car. This place is a JOKE!!!
