I purchased a previously owned Volvo C30 from Gosch Ford on 02/16/2010. I had been communicating with John Young for a week or so prior to flying down to Ontario. (I'm up in the Bay Area). I flew down and John offerred to pick me up at the airport (thanks again John!). When we got to the dealership we finished the paperwork and I got to see the car IN PERSON for the first time. I was relieved to see that it was just as nice as the photos had made it out to be - no last minute surprises. In summary, my fiance and I have had quite a few dealership experiences in the last year or so. Fairfield Infiniti was pretty good, but I'd rank my Gosch experience well above any of our other dealership experiences. Update on my review. So apparently after purchasing an extended warranty, the finance manager never submitted it. So when i needed repairs I had no contract! I personally had to submit paperwork to activate my warranty. I was told by the service manager at the ford dealer i was having repairs done at (different location than where i purchased my vehicle from) that shady finance managers dont ever submit the warranty papers and $$$ in hopes you never need to use the warranty. Which then results in cash in their own pocket. And that i could have purchased a ford warrantly for less $$ than i paid for some 3rd party company. Prior to this car, my last 3 vehicles( my 2 children and myself) were bought at carmax with zero issues. So thanks for re reassuring what i already knew. Stick to what you know is trustworthy. Never again will i buy from this dealer. Hope Spencer no longer is there. He is a great salesman and deserves to work for the best. And that is not here Sad to see all the bad reviews others have left. My experience was much different. My son and I bought him his first financed vehicle today. From the minute we walked in till the minute we left, never did I feel we were misguided, mistreated, or taken advantage of. So an update on my review-Probably close to a week later, my truck still had intermittent starting, so I checked the voltage to the battery here at home, checked out normally. At this point we pretty much know it's the starter, I got under the truck, did the old hit the starter with a hammer to knock the contacts together trick, and boom started right up. Had to buy a new starter at pep boys yesterday. I can't believe these Ford 'service members' couldn't even check the very basics of what could keep a truck from starting. I feel stupid taking, no towing, my truck there, but when I called them concerned it was a pats issue, they coerced me into bringing the truck in to 'program the key'. I can't believe I paid them for NOTHING. Such a rip off. Try to stay far away from these dumb as$es here. I'm a girl and I'd have to say I know/understand more than them! read more

This is our families second purchase with Jake, and we came back to him because he was so great to work with last September, when we brought our 19 year old nephew in as a first time buyer. Everyone is very nice and helpful, but I must say that Phil Maggio is the BEST. Although I didn't purchase this vehicle here, I will definately buy my next one from Gosch Ford. I bought a used Ford explorer from gosch Ford Hemet three years ago. It has had nothing but problem after problem. Luckily I had the extended warranty. So a year and a half ago they replaced my battery because the car wouldn't turn off the displays and ruined the battery. The replacement battery is now bad and should have an 84 month warranty. However since I didn't pay for the battery Ford put in my car a year and a half ago the warranty isn't valid. So therefore they replaced my battery with a bad battery for free but now I have to pay to replace the replacement. Absolutely horrible customer service from a company that already has me seeing red. I will never buy from Hemet gosch Ford again! read more

Gosch Ford's service department in Hemet is very dishonest. I called to find out how much to check the transmission fluid in my 2008 Mustang. (Ford Motor Company eliminated the transmission dipstick on some of their cars. Dumb idea!) Anyway, I was told they couldn't just check the fluid, and that they could only change the fluid, at a cost of $219.00. That was a lie! I called 2 other Ford Dealerships, and the cost to check it was $130.00, and the cost to change it was $219.00. I called a highly recommended, auto repair shop, (Not a Ford Dealership) and they could check the fluid for $52.50, or change the fluid for $155.00. Again, Gosch Ford said they couldn't just check the fluid, which was a total lie. read more

Having it towed 35 miles back to Gosch Ford for the third time. I know one would ask why to Gosh Ford I felt that they knew the problem and that they should resolve the issue. after researching this issue on the internet I found out the other people has had same issues leading then to be charged over $700.00 for a fuel pump that was not needed just an 50.00 part. I proceeded to call Gosch Ford the next day, and yes I too was told that my bill will be a little over $1000.00.. I was shocked I told the service person that I was researching this just last night and I could not believe I too was being charged over $700 for the same fuel pump. I instructed the service tech that I would have it towed to my personal mechanic and he is not to fix the truck. he stated to me that I needed a fuel pump as he bypassed the fuel shut off switch ( inertia) and I had no fuel pressure. I stated that he was wrong but having little knowledge in this area I thought that I would let my trusted mechanic look it over. After getting the truck towed to my mechanic letting him know what the problem was he stated that he will put it on the diagnostic computer and it will tell him. he called about 45 minutes and stated that it was ready that it needed an new (inertia switch) I had asked him about the fuel pump he stated that there was nothing wrong with the fuel pump. So Buyer Beware DO not Shop Here and definitely do not use the Service Dept!!!! read more

UPDATED - September 15, 2014: Please see narrative below - The battery in my 4Runner continues to crank strongly. In September of 2013, my wife took our Toyota 4Runner to GOSCH Toyota Scion for an oil change. During the service, one of the representatives contacted my wife and told her that the vehicle battery was weak and required replacement; he quoted her $160.00 to replace the battery and positive terminal. The battery had been replaced approximately 18 months earlier so my wife declined the service. Instead, we contacted AAA and they responded to our residence in preparation to replace the battery. After testing, AAA indicated that the battery and the positive terminal were satisfactory and did not require replacement. I contacted GOSCH to discuss this newfound information and the representative claimed that GOSCH and AAA use different testing mechanisms; hence, the reason for the discrepancy. Furthermore, the representative told me that GOSCH was going to stand behind their test and dismiss my complaint. I demanded a copy of the test results and they were provided. The Test Report reads: GOOD BATTERY - STATE OF CHARGE is greater than 85%. I have waited to write this review until now - May of 2014, or 8 months later, and the battery in the 4Runner continues to crank strongly. Beware of these types of scams. read more

This place is horrible... Worst ever. I needed to get my trunk fixed and allready knew what I wanted. They continued to tell me all the problems with my car. Yes, it's an old car. It had problems. I was a bit frustrated hearing all this while dealing with my three year old son by myself. Just wanted an estimate on what it would cost. Made my appointment for 10 am, they said it would be hours till the guy got there so I need to leave my car. So I did. Called 3 hours later to check up on it, they couldn't find my car, looked under my name, my mom's name, the make and model and still couldn't find it. Finally my mother figured out they had done it under the previous owners name. STUPID! Hahahaha so they said it would be fixed Wednesday. Today is Monday so I said I would come get my car and bring it back Wednesday. They said they would charge me $98 more to do that. Uh how am I suppose to get to work?! Fine. Leaving my car there for 3 days and paying about $300 to get a little latch on my trunk fixed. They are sick people. They took advantage of me and scammed me. What they do should be illegal and probally is. I urge you to not go here for any reason. And if your reading the reviews after the fact like me I'm sorry :/ read more

I'm giving this review for the customer service and the prices. I felt that the service members who worked there were really helpful and genuinely interested. I know it is their job to deliver great customer service so I commend them for that. Jarrod helped me (I think that was his name) and he went over the results of my diagnostic for my car and broke down step by step on how they fixed my car. The ONLY thing I do not like about this place is they charge outrageous prices. That is something the employees do not control so I will not rag them about that but whomever runs the Gosch Ford establishment needs to rethink their diagnostic prices. $110 PER diagnostic? Really guys? I could have gone to AES or Menifee Transmission and only spent $75 for a diagnostic and would have only spent $286 total for my ERG repair, but instead I paid $588. This was my fault since I chose to do the repair here but really that's pretty annoying. They also charged me like $58 to get an oil change and even extra money for a tire rotation. Most places only charge me for the oil change and give a free tire rotation. I really like this place and appreciate the quality of the service; however, I will no longer be returning to this establishment and will be sure to tell my friends to not come here due to prices. FIVE STARS for customer service and car service, ZERO STARS for the price. Because you have such shitty pricing I am giving you one star. read more

This establishment is extremely unprofessional and crooked. I financed a vehicle through them and was told that my loan was financed through a credit union. Upon calling the credit union I was informed that they do not have any loans for me and have not even received an inquiry. Weird! I have tried several times to contact Gosch's finance department, Crystal the saleswoman who initially helped me and the operation's manager Mike H with no success. read more

Hey folks, if your looking for auto repair for you Ford and don't want that sick feeling like you are being misled or nickel and dimmed then I recommend that you try another Dealership. Im a loyal customer and understand that there is a fair price to pay for good service, but I have to say that this dealer did not pass the gut check at all. I do however really like the interactions that I have received at the Dealership in La Mesa. I haven't been to the Temecula dealer. I get the feeling that the management at this dealership cares more about profits then recidivism. I will avoid this dealership for repairs. However I will say that the parts department has had good customer service and is helpful. read more

Never use the Hemet department. They are understaffed, rude, and never follow up. Bill my service advisor is terrible. I dropped my car off and he still hasn't looked at it in 3 days. He said other people have waited longer but he would guess it would take a few more days. HOW VAGUE? To top it off he said it's a transmission problem but has no clue cause his transmission guy isn't here and no one looked at my car. CONFUSING?! I took my nearly new 32 ft motorhome there for an oil change, chassis lube and air filter. Had an 8:30 appointment and got out of there at 10:45. It shouldn't have taken more than 45 minutes, but they really aren't set up too well for rv business. I was happy with the service performed, the staff and the price. Usually I don't go to dealerships, but the warranty was for Ford so I wanted Ford Mechanics. I would go there again for the M/H. I purchase a $50,000.00 dollar Ford F250 Diesel truck from them with a 5 year 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty from Ford. The dealership forged my name on a document and purchase me an aftermarket 5 year 100,000 mile warranty. I was have problems with my truck at 45,000 mile and was informed by another dealership that I did not have an extended warranty on file. This is when I found out that this dealership forged my name and gave me an aftermarket warranty that they control. I will never do business with this dealership again and would recommend that no one else buys a car from them. read more

Great service advisors and not too bad of a waiting room. They do have a shuttle as well. They also send out coupons every now and then which totally helps. Parts dept is helpful as well and never had an issue. They wash your car for you as well which is nice. They do tend to get extremely busy so make an appt..trust me. read more

We purchased a vehicle at this dealer on Feb. 26. The sale and finance went well. However, once arriving home we noticed the contract did not list the correct finance company. We were also missing paperwork not placed in our folder. I have left numerous messages and sent emails. All without response. I take both my cars here for all service and the staff is soooo amazing! They are friendly, professional, and they tell me an estimated price before they do any kind of repair work. Bought a car here almost four years ago and still hate this place. Don't buy a car here. They told me that the anti theft system was installed on my car when it wasn't. Not a big deal unless you already paid for it. Which I did. Why did I even need the fancy system for a Malibu? Cause I was 19 and they told me I needed it. Luckily I ended up getting my money back for that one. Every time I came back whether it be for an oil change or making a claim on the warranty I ended up in tears out of frustration of dealing with these people. I ended up sinking $300 for a freakin lightbulb one time, because they didn't know what they were doing. Shady and manipulative. They definitely took advantage of my 19 year old self. The car you want is going to be available at a better dealership. If it's not don't feel guilty about breaking these guys down for a deal that's remotely fair. read more

On November 5 2017 I bought a vehicle from Gosch Ford in Hemet. They wanted me to purchase $5000+ contract which covers for transmission and engine break downs.I was going to deny the contract but they told me they will give me free oil changes and fill up all my fluids. During the signing of the contract they showed me the "contract" with the stipulation. Now come to Jan 5th 2018. I went to get my oil change along with getting my fluids checked. Thats when they told me that they do not cover any fluids except the oil change and if I want to purchase it I can. I talked with one of the employees at sales they informed me that the people who did my "contract" no longer work there and they got fired for "writting bogus contracts" and "promising things". They then told me that the G.M. will call me I patiently wait for over a week and still no call. Very disappointed with the professionalism and blatant lies from a family owned business. I had a great experience at Gosch Ford. Every employee I spoke with was very helpful, especially Rhonda, who was very friendly as well. I took my SUV & my husband's truck in for recall repairs free of charge. I took mine in first & they told me it could take up to 2 hours, but they got done within an hour & washed my SUV for free. Then I took my husband's truck in a week later & again was told it could take up to 2 hours. The lady I made the appt with said it would only take about an hour. I told Rhonda I only had an hour before I had to pick up my kids. She said she understood & would try to rush the job. Foregoing the inspection, the job was done in 15 minutes. Free snacks & drinks in the waiting room are a sweet bonus. Keep up the great work Gosch Ford! read more
