The fries were the highlight of the plate, but the sandwich wasn't worth the price.

First, Tim's kitchen is an amazing family owned restaurant. The staff is great and even during their busiest hours they make sure you are well taken care of. They are very attentive and very friendly! The food is outstanding, I've been eating at Tim's Kitchen for a long time. My daughter is also a huge fan of Tim's Kitchen. There is a huge train track hung in the rafters with a train that goes through it. All kids love it! If you're looking for a place to get a quick bit or sit down and take your time, Tim's Kitchen is where it is at. My first time at Tim's Kitchen. Came in for breakfast. Its menu has nearly all my favorites: burgers, fried chicken, chicken fried steaks, hot dogs so on and so forth. You will find both quantity and quality as the portions are huge and the food is delicious. The atmosphere is nice with a model train set running on an elevated track. I had cardinal with 3 eggs scrambled, 3 sausage links, hash browns and 2 pancakes with coffee. My only disappointment was that the hash browns were overdone and burned a bit but was okay. We have eaten at Tim's kitchen in Orting a few times and really enjoyed it, so we were excited to see a new one open near our home. We have already been there 3 times and all visits have been enjoyable. All of the wait staff is very friendly, there is a great selection of traditional American food, the prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. The seating is relatively comfortable.
