Service was good! Friendly. The stars is for the service. However, the food was not what I expected. We've lived here for over 3 years seen a lot of people come here to eat. Ignored the 3.5 stars. Food was cold. Diced potatoes over cooked chewy and cold. Eggs were cold. Ham steak was cold and over cooked. Monte Cristo was also cold. Bread felt and tasted like left overs. Hash browns again was cold. Husband and I ate like 1/4 of our meal. I mean you would expect you'd get at least a fresh warm meal. If I wanted left overs I couldn't save last nights dinner. Great crispy potatoes! Wonderful biscuits and gravy! Great service! They were attentive with the drink refills. There were so many yummy sounding options on the menu it was hard to pick! Only been here one time. The food was great especially for the price. I had chicken fried chicken and it was a surprising flavor that I couldn't quite decipher, but it was so delicious. I would recommend gravy on the side, bc otherwise the breading gets soggy by the time you get through it. I had the chili as one side, just imagine Wendy's chili but with a homemade delicious flavor. I really wish I had extra room in my stomach for this place. The steak fries have I believe Johnny's seasoning salt which is just delicious and the portion was large as a side. Salad bar was a little sketchy with a lot of brown items that looked old and the server was a little overwhelmed with 5 full tables, but definitely worth it. I have paid double for less quality food. Ordered lunch for my mom and myself. The staff was very friendly and the food was ready when I arrived. The online ordering process was easy, but it turned out the menu didn't include a few items. I called the restaurant and placed my order that way with no problem. The food was pretty uninspiring. The chicken pot pie had no real flavor, hardly any vegetables and a weak gravy. The chicken parmesan was also boring with a sad marinara sauce covering a good sized piece of chicken which was tender and tasty, but not very seasoned. The biscuit with the pot pie was cold and dry. The garlic butter on the garlic bread was stale. The ambience of the restaurant was very nice, but the food wasn't so great. read more

My new favorite restaurant! We walked in the door and were greeted with smiles from everyone. We were sat immediately. Our server arrived right away and was very friendly and attentive. Drinks were delivered promptly. Our food came out quickly and hot, despite the full dining room and it was SO delicious. I ordered the strawberry French toast which comes topped with whipped cream and it did not disappoint! We were checked on many times by our waitress AND other servers. In a nutshell, my egg was cooked to perfection, the country potatoes w/ onions, crispy bacon, and homemade biscuit (w/ that delicious butter/honey or maple Syrup) totally hit the spot! The service was great, & although it took some times to get our order (they were very busy) the waitress rectified the pancake issue (they weren't hot) by bringing another plate with hot pancakes & a biscuit on the house for my friend. I received a text saying my food would be ready at 9:35am and then roughly ten minutes later at 9:17 I got a text from Tim's saying my food was ready for pickup...... needless to say everything I ordered was ice cold. This isn't what drew the last straw. When I got home and opened the stapled shut bag I opened my eggs Benedict something I've been craving for a couple weeks especially after reading some goof balls review saying he was some special trained chef and everyone sucks at making eggs Benedict but Tim's was so incredible...... . I looked down at two English muffins with ham with a tiny amount of hollandaise sauce with a mountain of SCRAMBLED EGGS!!!!!!! Who in the f puts scrambled eggs on eggs Benedict????????? Honestly the wait for our food took forever. The server came back to our table after 15-20 min to tell us that they didn't get our order in the kitchen.. ain't that some shit. We order mimosas and that honestly is worth the money but how you gonna make people wait that long? Everything leaving and yet our food hadn't arrived yet. With the mask mandate changing , none of the workers is wearing mask. I can see the servers half ass cleaning the tables while I'm still waiting for my food. Oh yeah BTW making this review while waiting. Since our in Puyallup there's not much diversity in the place. Amazing food that doesn't have the chain restaurant food taste. The food here tastes authentic and home cooked. The amount of food they give for the very affordable price is great! They load up on the bacon bits and cheese potato wedges appetizers. The time from our order to food served was 19 minutes. Everything was very clean. The detailed 2 page menu had good selections. I ordered a Senior chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and white gravy. The steak was a tiny bit too crispy but still very good and the senior size was filling. My wife had the senior fried chicken and mashed potatoes with brown gravy and liked it a lot. Both gravies were good but brown was the best. Prices were fair and food was good. The waitstaff Angel was exceptional, providing excellent service and great conversation. Will definitely return to TK and try some of their desserts next time which sound delish! read more

The food was higher priced than sharis or Denny, but the quality was worse. We witness the waitress make my husbands fruit cup from the salad bar and set that cup under kitchens order window, where it sat for 30 minutes before being served to my husband, warm. My boy that was 10 dollars had 3 thin small pieces of bacon on the whole sandwich. The Mac and cheese was boring, and drowning in added cheese that was microwaved on top. Ok super happy with Tim's Kitchen restaurant. My 3yo is being a total terror and the staff were so sweet and helpful. Crystal our server gave her a book found her puzzles and a game she could play at the table adjacent. I have never been at a more family friendly restaurant.
