Time Out Cafe is deli/pizzeria with seating and all connected to an Exxon gas station of all things. I've been here a couple of times before and the food isn't bad. The pizza looks okay although I have never tried it. I ordered a whole wheat wrap because they were out of whole wheat rolls. They pile a good amount of meat in it but the lettuce didn't taste too fresh. Definitely not enough oil and vinegar and the wrap just tasted dry and bland as a result. Unfortunately they never seem to have their full menu. I've never been here once where I was able to get exactly what I wanted because they were out of one of the items. The location is very convenient since it's right at the corner of a busy area in Wayne. Their menu includes a whole bunch of things that include wings, breakfast sandwiches and burgers. Sometimes they only have one person doing everything so it can get slow, but usually there's at least two people working.

Taylor Ham, Egg & Cheese on a roll is literally my FAVORITE breakfast sandwich EVER. As a true Jersey girl, this is what I miss the most when I'm traveling out of State. A lot of places can definitely screw this sandwich up but Time Out does a really good job with it!! I always ask for it with ketchup, mayo and pepper (there's already enough salt in the Taylor ham) on a roll and it hits the SPOT. If you've never had it, you have to try it.

WORST SUB EVER! First off I ordered a #10 FROM THEIR PAMPHLET(turkey, ham, salami, provolone) What I got was a #10 their way (turkey & Provolone)!! When I brought it to the guys attention and showed him the pamphlet he was DUMB founded! But.....they remade it to what I ordered. Hmmm the sub, yes very big but big isnt always better first off why does the guy put the lettuce, tomato, mayo, and oil vinegar on the bottom and then pile the meat on top? This is NOT how a sub is suppose to be made, hellooooo i do not want to bite into my sandwich tasting the meat first, it doesnt mix well when you get a mouthful of lettuce on the bottom, WEIRD. As for the bread it needs alot of help its DAY OLD bread, YES CHEWY! oh and BTW look at my picture, this is where your meat is being cut a DIRTY GERM INFESTED SLICER, YUCK!! Ughhh guess this place should be TIME NOT, for NEVER AGAIN!

Pizza is delicousssss!!! I'm a pizza girl and it's just so good! The sandwiches are really good too!! They are not afraid to pack on the meat, for $3.99

This place was such a great place when it opened. Price of cold cuts has went up a couple bucks. Sandwiches are inconsistent. The price is extremely reasonable when they actually make your sandwich stacked with meat. Unfortunately every time I go now there's mostly Lettuce and tomato and barely any meat.

Never would I have imagined that a cafe in a gas station could be this good. And they are so quick in making sandwiches. I have to try the pizza next.

    That's it

This place is a lil sleeper !! Pizza is a new and fresh taste to this area and the subs put subway and blimpies to shame but the best part was the bill !! I got a large pie 2 toppings and an Italian hero for $15 and that's great

4.5 stars. I've ordered lunch here three times in the last 2 weeks and was pleasantly surprised each time at both the quality and price to value. I say surprised because time out is basically in what would usually be a convenience store of a local gas station. It's not where one would traditionally find an out of this world deli. Granted, it's not a full scale deli with pasta salads and such, but if you are looking for a place that serves a great sub or wrap piled high with fresh meat then look no further. I've attached a photo of their turkey roast beef and cheese wrap that was an absolute steal at 6 bucks. Compare to another review I made last week. Same wrap for 9 bucks...there simply is no comparison.

Guy seemed overwhelmed and reluctantly took my order. I showed up 30 min later and no one had any record of my order. I recognized the guy's voice and told him he took my order. He was pissed and got into a shouting match with me with 3 other customers around. He eventually apologized and offered a free side of meatballs and spaghetti (don't order that btw, super underwhelming). 2nd time: Wife placed an order for a pie with half pepperoni on their website. Came back with the order and the pie had full toppings. Small nit but annoying. 3rd time: I called at 6pm on a Thursday. No one picked up. Opted to place order on their website and got the same item as last time. Showed up at and the same miserable guy asked for my name and order... and then said he didn't have any order. I told him I placed an order on the website... and he said "You should have called." with an awful (only a mother can love) grin. I showed him my email confirming 6:20pm pickup time and he said he had no order... before pulling a pie with my name on it. I asked if it had half pepperoni and it didn't. Full toppings AGAIN. Clearly, their website is not equipped to actually take half toppings orders. Pizza is OK but not worth the headache or poor service here.

I love a slice of pizza that has the crunchy bottom and the pepperoni is charred and cupped. Their white slice is good too. If you want that crunch but not too crunchy come here for a late night slice. They have pastas and sandwiches but never had it. Maybe one day. Pros: - Quick and friendly service - Crunch bottom pizza slices for those who love eating it this way - Opens late on the weekends until 2am - Want coffee?? Dunkin is next door but they close a lot earlier than here Cons: - Limited seating area - Small parking lot but late night there's always a spot Come check them out for a late night slice!

So for the last few months I've been conducting my own personal search for the best buffalo chicken…read morepizza in Wayne and I think I found it ::insert fanfare!:: Ok so what's so good about it?? Unlike other spots in town Pizza One uses buffalo sauce as the base on the pizza, which is the only way go! Topped with mozz and buffalo chicken it's simple and so so good! Other places in town use a red sauce as their base which does not make sense to me. Another spot in town uses buff sauce but drowns their dough in it and that is just too much sauce, man. Pizza One has figured out the right sauce/cheese/chicken ratio. Their regular cheese pie is a winner too. They do a really nice thin but not too thin crust here which works for a plain pie but also is a nice base for loading up with the toppings too. I also have to talk about their garlic knots. Also the best that I've found in town (so far anyway..). They are big, fluffy and loaded with garlic. They are served w/ marinara but if you've got an extra buck I'd suggest you spring for the vodka sauce - it's sooooo good w/ the knots. No complaints re: service or wait times for pies. Pizza One is just a super solid spot in town to get food. Bonus -- if you order online they've always got some sort of deal going on - ie: a large cheese pie and 12 wings for $26 or 3 large pies for $42. We often order the pizza/wing combo (when I'm not insisting on ordering the aforementioned buffalo chicken pizza..) and when you compare to other spots you're saving at least $5 which is not nothin'.
