This was my first time coming into Timeland to get a watch resized and it was honestly the most pleasant experience. Penny and the whole team were extremely knowledgeable and so sweet. They noticed right away that a screw was missing from my watch and asked if I wanted that replaced as well. The whole visit took maybe 15-20 minutes, which we didn't even notice since we loved talking to Penny and looking around at their watch and clock collections. Today on Wednesday February 14, 2024 I needed to get 2 watch batteries for 2 different watches I had. This was my first time coming to timeland. When I walked in I was greeted. Now a days that is hard to find. I drove 30 minutes from my home. I spoke to a nice woman named Penny before I arrived. They also sell watches at this location. Sometimes you come across a great little store which punches way above its weight in terms of customer service. My old watch guy having retired, I needed to find another place who could find a new band for my obscure 1980s Swedish watch. Penny and son searched the store for a band that worked and matched the design beyond perfection, literally taking the band apart and remaking it. Mr and Ms Yelp: please add more stars. Amazing! I purchased a Michele stainless steel band for my apple watch at Bloomingdales but the band was way too big. I brought it it to Timeland to get links removed. The friendly owner who helped me quickly removed some links only to find the band was too small. She then added a link back only to find the band was now too big. She then went into the back and found a spare half link from a different watch and was able to grind it down and polish it to add to my band so that it blended right in! She spent so much time (and was so creative) to make sure the band fit perfectly and I was satisfied. I honestly don't know of any other jewelry repair shop that would have gone out of their way like this.
