My old watch guy having retired, I needed to find another place who could find a new band for my obscure 1980s Swedish watch. Amazing! I purchased a Michele stainless steel band for my apple watch at Bloomingdales but the band was way too big. I brought it it to Timeland to get links removed. The friendly owner who helped me quickly removed some links only to find the band was too small. She then added a link back only to find the band was now too big. She then went into the back and found a spare half link from a different watch and was able to grind it down and polish it to add to my band so that it blended right in! She spent so much time (and was so creative) to make sure the band fit perfectly and I was satisfied. I honestly don't know of any other jewelry repair shop that would have gone out of their way like this. I have been coming to Timeland for over 10 years and I can honestly say that every single time I've been here, the service is top-notch and I always leave with my problem perfectly resolved, sometimes even above and beyond. Today, for example, not only did they fix my watchband that was broken within a couple of minutes and for a reasonable price, but they fixed my belt buckle!! I just so happened to have the broken belt buckle with me today and figured why not ask if it's something they can fix. They were able to take the belt,l buckle apart and fix the broken knob and put it back together, and now I can wear it again! In addition to providing the highest quality service, the staff are always extremely polite and pleasant and a true pleasure to work with. This is the only place you should go whether you need a new watch or just a battery. Honest, fast and the most reasonable rates I've found. I went on today for a battery for a cheap watch my husband uses when he gardens and a bottle of Lavish Jewelry Cleaner, a great product. Penny noticed that my Tissot watch was pretty dirty so she cleaned it for me. She saw the pins on either side of the face were bent and asked if I'd like her to replace them for $2 each. I said please do. She showed me the pins she'd removed and they were indeed bent. She also cleaned my rings and necklace while she was at it. The grand total came to $25.95. TimeLand is a wonderful watch repair business. I took a very special watch there to get repaired that my mom had given me years ago. For the last few years it simply stopped being able to keep time or hold a charge as it is a Citizen Eco-charge watch. Until TimeLand, I was taking it to FastFix watch repair in the Fox Hills Mall. Each repair was extremely expensive and never lasted more than a year or less. TimeLand was very thorough in assessing the problem and their charge was on point for their work.
