I've tried a few things from here. Hot wings. Chicken Caesar Salad. Cheesecake. Various pasta dishes. Everything I tried was delicious!

We came for a quick dinner and found this gem. If your looking for excellent Italian food this is the place. The cioppino was excellent and one of the best I have had. We are from Bay Area and would eat at Alioto's & Giovanni's San Francisco Fishermen's Wharf. It's been hard to find some good Cioppino. And this is the place that has it. First time here and I have Yelp to thank for this gem of a find! Way to go Yelpers. My husband and I shared a 14" Margarita Pizza with Pepperoni on 1/2 and the Penne alla Vodka with Sausage added to it. The pasta though? Holy, Moly, flavor explosion in your mouth, make curly hair go straight YUMMY!! And let it be known it was perfectly sauced. I feel like pasta dishes like these sometimes lack in flavor and do not have nearly enough sauce, but this dish blew my mind and my expectations. The Pizza? Also very good, my husband said it was one of the best New York Style pizzas he's had. That means a lot as he is a born and bread East Coaster! I am not a huge pizza lover but I will say it was pretty dang tasty. I actually started putting the chunks of sausage from my pasta onto a slice of the pizza, that elevated it greatly. My one and only gripe with the pizza was the complete lack of Basil. To me, that is what makes a Margarita Pizza. C'mon now, dont be shy, load that baby up!! If I wanted a tomato pizza I would have ordered a cheese pizza add tomatoes. Oh well, it was still tasty and the lack of basil def didn't stop us from ravaging through it like vultures on a hot summer day devouring a carcass in the desert. TMI?? Sorry.... I got carried away reminiscing of last night's feast. Once we licked the plates clean, and wiped away any trace of evidence from our chins, we went all in and ordered the Creme Brulee. Oh My Lanta, cheese and rice, son of a biscuit... WOWZA!! This dessert has potential to be a 15 out of 10, BUT...and it's a BIG BUT( Hm... that didnt come out right) the very bottom of the creme brulee was icey and seemed like it was frozen. Epic fail! Having the custard so cold, really took away some of the flavor. Creme Brulee should be a bit warm if anything. It should be hard brittled sugar on top, with a caramely, crunchy crack and an Oooooey goooooey, yummy smear on your face custard underneath. This one lacked both. It had the crunchy blanket of caramelized sugar on top, but it needed more, and it needed about 15 seconds longer under the torch. Light that sucker up!! All in all my husband and I had a GREAT date night and we will definitely be back. This was a much welcomed find! read more

Great hidden gem. Great food and excellent customer service. It's family owned so they really care. They just opened a 2nd location at 7th st and union hills that is also good. We love their pizza and wings! Pizza has lots of cheese and Wings have an amazing flavor with lots of meat on the bones. Best of all they make a homemade ranch that pairs well with the pizza. Alright I hate leaving reviews because honestly I don't think it's worth my time everyone should develop their own opinions and that's that. However if your looking for good Italian this is not really that. The medium buffalo wings to start were great! They were crispy and had decent flavor because they were coated in Frank's Buffalo Sauce. I know Franks when I taste it. The food came out pretty quickly which we was great. The Pollo Picatta was drowning in oil and capers. And yet was still pretty bland not to mention wet. The Pollo Ortega was also soggy, bland, and it wasn't spicy AT ALL. Chicken was not good on either of them. The buffalo chicken pizza... idk how you mess this one up. The chicken was covered in a sweet??? Buffalo sauce? And they were in large diced shapes. That's it just the chicken where's the pizazz. The mix of ricotta and mozzarella not only didn't make sense but it was SWEET and left no room for crust. The crust was good but the second you got to the cheese the crust disappeared. The cheese steak special. This should have been so good the steak was juicy... but bland. It had onions, peppers, a fat layer of cheese and plenty of meat and some flavorless bread. It had so much potential and all the right stuff so why was it so bland and unpleasant. Like I said I'm sorry I know this is a family owned business and I support them left and right I WORK FOR A FAMILY OWNED PIZZA RESTAURANT!!! The server couldn't look up, came over like twice and was so uncomfortable. We are nice people. I'm a server I know how easy it is to be uncomfy at a table but come on. This is the second time coming to Times Square Pizzeria on Deer Valley Road. Tonight I had the Penne Alla Vodka and my wife had the Linguini Puttanecsa, both were very were excellent. This is the second time we've been to Times Square Pizzeria and both times we've have had excellent meals. We come down to Arizona on spring break and so the last time we were here was 12 months ago. We got there around 5:30 on a Saturday night and we had about a 15 minute wait to be seated. The service was excellent. read more

This morning my husband and I decided to have breakfast here. I ordered a mimosa and the waitress brought me a glass with lipstick all over it. DURING COVID!! My husband let her know, she brought me another glass. She mentioned that she double checked it and also made the comment that she doesn't do the dishes. This is disgusting!! I can't believe it went past the dishwasher, down to the bartender then the waitress and last to my attention just for anyone to notice!!! We ended up leaving right after that replacement glass. Waitress was surprised and said "what why??" You know exactly why. My husband and I have been coming here for 6 years. I will never eat here again. I've come here a handful of times and I love it. I usually get the Insalata Caprese and Steamers. For me, besides the delicious food, the staff make this place. I've had a different person each time and they are all so welcoming, kind and attentive to my needs. I've read the reviews of wishing they were in a better location, and business wise I would probably agree, only because I think they deserve a bigger lot to accommodate guests, but it's walking distance from my house so I have zero complaints. First time here for this family! Food was excellent and the service was even better. Our drinks were never empty and we were checked on repeatedly. My husband and I had fettuccini Alfredo and our daughter had spaghetti, both meals were great. The meals comes with garlic bread too! Went there with my wife and adult daughter. Great food all around, excellent and strong drinks. One of the entree's was only lukewarm, although it still tasted just fine. The foodserver returned after having the cooks put the entree back in the oven, and everything was fine. Great deserts, BTW. read more

This resturant we have been going to forever....we used to only go for their fabulous breakfasts...they make traditional omelets...real omelets that they mix the ingredients into the eggs no just cook eggs flip over put ingredients between then turn over and sprinkle cheese...gross....then several years ago we realized that after speaking to one of the owners what a remarkable chef they had...mind you it is a mom and pop establishment...now they have 3 across the valley....the dinners are absolutely phenomenal. Throughout this COVID-19 pandemic having to work and not enjoy going out we at least got to enjoy the availability of still picking up the delicious food. I've eaten here on numerous occasions and this place never ever disappoints. The restaurant is always busy and for good reason. Food is absolutely delicious no matter what you get. Went here for dinner during our stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating despite it being busy. Having a party of 6 we were seated in a timely manner. The food portions were very generous and at a decent price point. I had the eggplant parm, one of my favorites, and it did not disappoint. The sauce was thick and hearty and the eggplant baked just right. The garlic bread was crispy and hot. I tried my daughters Penne ala vodka which was rich and delicious. Good drink options. We had a little bit of trouble finding the place, I did not realize it was East of 27th Ave., North side of the street. Friend had pizza, hubby had I think chicken marsala, or pasta with chicken marsala... and I had a delicious calamari salad. It was very good, seemed small at the beginning but it was plenty, and it was very lemony. I enjoyed it a lot and will probably keep ordering it every time I come here. One of my favorite breakfast spots. I come here on weekends with my boyfriend. They offer a full menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast they always have specials which tends to be pork chops and eggs, Chorizo scramble, or Eggs Benedict. I usually get the letter D combo, which is eggs, bacon or sausage, and french toast. I get my eggs scrambled with their homemade salsa! It's the perfect amount of food for only $4.95. Awesome deal! I've also had their Margherita pizza and Pasta Giovanni. They are both scrumptious! I've been eating so much pizza lately, I think I might turn into one! My buddy Mike was telling me about this place and he said it was legit. It's only a few minutes up the road from where I work so I decided I would pick up a pizza for lunch. I called them up and ordered a 14 inch Cheese PIzza. Drove up there, picked it up and then headed back to work. My total was just under $12.00 for the pizza. I devoured this thing in my car during my lunch break. It was delicious...I ate the whole damn pizza! This pizza had a good medium/thin crust, really good sauce, good cheese (tad greasy) and great overall flavor. It reminded me of some mom and pop type shops back where I grew up at in LA. I will definitely be back. The staff was friendly and joked around with me for a bit while I was picking up my food. Just moved to this neighborhood and Times Square Pizzeria is my favorite restaurant in the area so far. My girlfriend and I went there the other night for dinner and we split a margherita pizza and the Pasta Giovanni (ordered it with angel hair instead of the penne). We were very impressed with both dishes! Two night later, I find myself getting some Pasta Giovanni as a to go order. We also went here for breakfast about a month ago for our first visit. Great breakfasts at a great price! Based on the amazing aroma of this place when walking in you can tell it is going to be good food. I highly recommend Times Square Neighborhood Italian Restaurant. We had chicken and spaghetti which were OK but the Caesar salad had a number of lettuce leaves in there with multiple black spots. The garlic bread that came with it was tasteless, dry and hard as cardboard. We didn't eat that either. For the prices they charge the quality of the food should be much better. read more

My bf and I were visiting his sister and staying at a hotel near here. Looking for a place to eat after getting in at PHX we didn't have much options and everything in the area closes at 10pm. TSP was our best option. Came in. Got sat right away. I highly recommend ordering the Caesar salad and Alfredo with shrimp. We ended up coming back 2 nights later for a margarita pizza. Nothing special on the outside and the inside is a touch on the spartan side, too. No white table cloths here. Booths. A basic eatery decor. Alaskan Brewing on tap - not sure where else in the Valley you can find that! I usually get the pasta special and have NEVER been disappointed, even when it is something I might not ordinarily order. Last week it was spinach gnocci in bacon cream sauce. Amazing! Wings are pretty good as well. Old time waitressing with fun chatting and joking if you wish. This place is a hidden gem for Italian food, pizza and sandwiches. We came here last night and had the Mediterranean salad, (big enough for 4 people!). The steamed clams appetizer were in a delicious garlic butter sauce and went great with the delicious garlic bread. My husband had the Pescatore and I had the Linguine Principessa.
