Yes, it's true employees at Timmy's don't wear masks. The sandwiches are honestly very good and filling but I don't think I'll be back. Not that the owner would care based off his replies to countless Yelpers refuting the truth they don't wear masks. It's a very simple and easy thing to do to stop the spread of covid-19 and if you can't even do that I bet thorough hand washing is too much of an inconvenience to you as well. Shame on you, Timmy. What is this place? A recommendation from staff at Boeger Winery. The menu is so hard to read. The combinations of sandwiches sound crazy. But enough about that. We had the Banh sandwich with Chinese sausage And crunchy wasabi peanuts? That's crazy! But it was awesome. The lemon pepper fries were crispy and hot but ask for less lemon pepper. I freaking love this place. Like seriously, I could eat here everyday (they aren't open Mondays though!). The guys who work here are really nice and you can tell that they love what they do. Every time I visit there is a line out the door, but it's so with the wait. They make some of the most creative sandwiches I've ever heard of and each one is absolutely delicious (I try a different one every time I stop in). I've taken several people here too and no one ever leaves disappointed. I highly recommend the falafel with pickled tomatoes, cucumbers, tzatziki and pomodoro sandwich, or the Italian sausage with pear, goat cheese, berry jam and peanut brittle sandwich. I was so excited to try this place today, the sandwiches looked great from the menu online. When we went up to the counter none of the workers - the young lady at the counter nor the two young men in the back cooking - were wearing masks. I was super disappointed. I subsequently read some of the reviews here with customers saying that they weren't wearing masks and the owner responding that they've been berated for wearing masks (in conservative El Dorado county I don't doubt it) but stating emphatically that they DO wear masks. It wasn't the case today...maybe the owner needs to be checking more often with the employees and making sure they are following this state mandate? Being berated for wearing masks isn't acceptable and I'm sorry if they've experienced that, but hopefully they can just tell those customers to take a hike and wear masks to protect all the other customers that respect and expect masks. read more

The truth is, you should drop what you're doing immediately and head over to this tiny sandwich shop and indulge yourself in the most incredible lunch experience of your life. The name and the location are unassuming, but the menu is exceptional and the flavors....wow. My first bite of my BLT brought me to actual tears. I had to put my sandwich down for a moment to wipe my eyes, laughing at how ridiculous my reaction was. It was an uncontrollable moment of pure ecstacy. In fact, BLT is a weak summary of the masterpiece I experienced today: Tang crusted bacon with heirloom tomatoes, a Tang bacon aioli, watermelon grapefruit popping crystals, and mixed greens on a gorgeously toasted brioche. No idea how to decide except to eliminate sandwiches that have an ingredient we didn't really like (for me, kimchi.). Found the restaurant on Main Street. Small place in a cute little retail space. Clean and fun with several people working. Hubby ordered the green curry pork and I ordered the ham and cheese. The food is phenomenal. My BLT had the sweetest summer tomato with pop rocks () that literally made my sandwich explode in my mouth. The Bahn Mi was delightful-the bread was soft and delicious. It took quite awhile for us to get our food, to the point that my sandwich was on the soggy side. We also got the curry fries, which I don't think I'd get again as the seasoning made them dry. There are a ton of different and clashing fonts and graphics all over the place. It's best just to go in and have them make some suggestions.
