Machine reading .75 and 1.75. It should be 00. and .00 for a perfect balance.

If you want "quick" service... these are the guys to go to. However, it is very important that you know how they can do this. They achieve this in several ways. FYI - I used to work at Tuffy's (BJ's tire shop) as a Tire Tech., so I know a little of what goes into doing this job. 1. They skip calibrating the balancing machine to your rim & tire specification (one size fits all I guess). 2. They don't remove the old weights when balancing the tire. 3. If they do put weights on, it will only be on one side of the wheel which they will attempt to do, again, without removing the old weights first. 4. Finally, if you're not watching, they will put the tire on the balancing machine, spin it, and simply take it off and put it on your car without even trying to balance it. Anyway, this was my situation... I turned my back to put one of my old tires in the car and noticed the balance machine reading .75 and 1.75(see picture). I told the young lad who was doing the balancing that he forgot to balance the wheel he was rolling over to put on my car. He chose to ignore me and proceeded to put it on my car anyway so I went right next to him, in case he didn't hear me, and told him that it needs to be balanced again. "You tell me what to do? You do this kind of work?" is his response. I told the older guy thinking he would rectify the situation, but his response backed up the other guy tone and attitude. ".75 and 1.75 is balanced, .50 and .50 is balanced, .25 and .25 is balanced. You do this kind of work?" I told them the tires are balanced when the machine says .00 and .00 or something close to that. His response, "You say you work in tire shop, show me, balance tire..." Well, I was more than happy to balance my own tires. First thing I did was remove the old weights, spun the tire, and surprisingly the machine said it only needed a .75 weight, which I asked for since I couldn't find one in the used scrapped pile of weights they use from previous jobs that they cycle through. At that point, they apparently figured out that I knew what I was doing so the young guy offered to finish the job. The older guy then said, "I should charge you $80 now". I laughed and told him "The reviews I read about your attitude and horrible service is true. You mounted 4 tires last year on my car and did a great job and I decided to come back to help your business, and this is how you treat your customers?" After that conversation he went to put the last wheel on my car, which he couldn't balance correctly because he claimed the car is old and the wheel is old, and it's most likely bent. I guess that means that all my wheels were bent since none were done right by them. So, unless you go to those guys with a new car with new wheels and new tires to put on, they will use the excuse that your wheel is bent and that is why the machine cannot balance it correctly. So, while he is putting the last lug nut on the car, I told him "What you sow, you shall reap" and his response was "I don't care." Well, that response wasn't a surprise because the "I don't care" attitude was in full effect since I got there until I left. Needless to say, I would NOT be going back and would definitely NOT recommend anyone else doing so... unless you want "quick" service with "privileged attitude" on the side. I simply wanted what they promised and advertised... "mounted" and "balanced" tires. My final advice to him was to take care of the customers and they will gladly keep coming back... only time will tell if they heed the warning. Good luck to anyone who is thinking about going there.

We had an emergency while in Delaware with a tire., so we needed a quick fix until we could get to our dealership. I wish I could give this business zero stars. The older guy was very disrespectful and when he started on his rant, he switched up in Spanish so I wouldn't understand him. The young boy that was working with him thought it was funny. The worst service ever! What man speaks to a lady in such a rude manner when all I was doing was questioning the plugged tire he was trying to sell us.

I basically needed someone to come to me with a brand new tire and change it out for my old one. The first place wasn't able to accommodate my request so I called M&M. They sent a very nice man out about 10 minutes after I called, who came and took my old tire, then went back to M&M to get me a new one. It took him like a minute to take off and 2 minutes to put back on. I was stranded on the side of the road, got a new tire and it changed for me all under a hour. ( if I didn't call them, I was looking at a 3 hour wait for my husband to get there.) Hands down best service, both customer and professional. Fast, friendly with fair prices! I made sure to get a card from the gentleman who changed my tire bc i will be calling them in the future for ALL my tire needs and will be telling friends and family.

What started as a simple tire installation ended up ALMOST KILLING ME! BEWARE OF THIS SERVICE…read moreCENTER! Came in for service to get tires installed after purchasing them on TireRack. Tire Rack recommends this service center as a premier installer. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER! (MORE BELOW) Scheduling Service Scheduling service was not difficult at all. I spoke to a representative at this service center and set up an appointment with ease. I spoke to them on a Tuesday and had a service scheduled for Friday morning. The cost to install four tires was about $100. One reason for the loss of a star is because there is a coupon on their website for $20 off of $100 or more in service that the representative did not mention. I had to ask them about it to see if it applied to this service. The service representative said that I could use the coupon and sure enough when the final bill came, it came with $20 deducted from the final cost. Total: -1 star (4 stars) Waiting Area When you first enter the service shop there is a front desk / reception area with chairs. After I checked the car in I sat on the chairs in front of the reception area thinking that was the only waiting area. Later, when I was looking to see if there was some sort of vending machine or water dispenser did I find that there was an entire waiting area inside of the service center that the front desk receptionist failed to mention existed. Minus another star. Total: -1 star (3 stars) Service I brought the car in at about 9AM and was out in a little over an hour and a half. Although there was only one car ahead of me, I was told ahead of time that tire installation usually takes about an hour so a thirty-minute overage is not far outside of the anticipated time. Total: 0 stars (3 stars) PROBLEM Prior to bringing the car in for the tire installation, I noticed that the brakes were making a noise. I specifically asked if the technician could take a look at the brakes. The lady who worked at the front assured me that they would take a look. After the technician dropped off the paperwork I asked her again about the brakes to which she replied (based off of the technician's report) that there was nothing wrong with the brakes. She reiterated that had the technician found any issues with the brakes they would have noted so in the report/receipt once they handed it off to her. Yesterday, my brake pedal started sinking and the brakes were not engaging fully while I was driving southbound on I-95. I had the car looked at and the technician found that the brake pads were completely worn out causing the calipers to break off that led to all the brake fluid draining out of the vehicle. With my Ford E-350 being a front-wheel-drive vehicle, the technician said that there is no way that the brake pads and the calipers in the REAR of the vehicle would have worn down to that point within a couple of weeks. Especially considering the fact that the car is driven only 2 times a week. I am not sure how much trust and respect should be given to an auto service center that can't even see that a brake pad is worn out. Furthermore, I trusted them with this diagnosis that could have ended up causing significant physical harm to myself and others. This is a church passenger vehicle that is used to carry sometimes as many as 11 passengers at a time. Luckily this problem occurred without any other passengers on-board. However, this could have become a very large catastrophe. Please BEWARE of this shop and beware of the work they do. Total: -2 stars (more if possible) (1 star) CONCLUSION: This shop has great reviews from other customers and this may have been a one-time anomaly. However, I felt that future customers should be made aware of this situation and should be able to make an informed decision as to all the positives and NEGATIVE aspects of this auto shop. While this is a service center that does Maryland State Inspections for safety, I want to call into question the thoroughness and validity of the work they do in inspecting vehicles. What should have ended up simply being a brake pad and rotor change ended up costing double because of caliper destruction. I hope that the management and ownership of this service center get a chance to review what happened and make the necessary changes to the work they do. This is the prime example of a service center haphazardly and negligently checking vehicles that put people's lives at risk. This should NEVER happen again.

The prices were VERY reasonable and the work done was perfect. Thanks again for a great first experience. I will be back with any other car issues I have.
