My experience at Tint World was amazing as always! A year ago I got my windows tinted 20%. This time I had my tail lights medium, fog lights tinted yellow, and had a window that got broken into tinted again at 20%. I originally asked Sultan for a quote for the tail lights and ended up mentioning my fogs and window when I arrived and he was able to accommodate me and fit everything into the one appointment. The service was pretty fast! I dropped my car off around 9 and it was done around 11! Also, all of the tints came out amazing. I'll be returning to this shop in a few months to have my car wrapped. Sultan and the front desk helper who helped me with getting my car wrapped are great and really friendly. They made getting my dream car possible at a great price. I have been told everywhere I go that the wrap job is great and got many compliments on my car. During the time two years ago, there was a promotion and I was able to get my car wrapped at $2500 and jumped the gun and did it. No regrets at all, service is great and they really try to work with your schedule. They even record clips of the work in progress so you have a little souvenir. Sultan is a good person and have given me other discounts as well when I had an accident and needed to get a section rewrapped. I'm glad I was able to work with him and have been referring people to get their car wrapped here. I bought a brand new 2024 Tesla Model Y in black. I wanted to get my windows tinted. I decided since it's local I would give this place a chance. It looked nice from the pictures online and looked like they knew what they were doing. I payed for getting all windows tinted including the glass roof. They left handprints all over the roof, bubbles. I didn't touch it because I didn't want to interfere with the process. The windshield in front had signs of contamination of & hair that are now sealed. When I got the car back there were scraps of film inside the car. The pictures posted on their yelp are pictures that the business posted, not the customers. I had them remove this tint they installed. When they removed the tint the back windshield was clearly damaged. It's supposed to be orange lines, but after Tint World had the vehicle in their possession it' has a light & dark orange color on the lines. They did not take their time to properly remove this. This is not fixable, only way is to replace windshield. This place is a nightmare experience. I see why they say "no refunds", they don't want to be held accountable for their errors. They charge crazy prices but the quality does not match at all. They removed the tint, yet they still left debris from the removal process. I am beyond disappointed & upset, now I will have to pay to get the back windshield removed because of their negligence. read more

Sultan is amazing at accommodating the requests of his customers. I've had Sultan at Tint World work on two of my vehicles, and in the case of the second he was willing to squeeze me in to his schedule at a moment's notice after I decided I did need the windows tinted on my truck after all--36 hours prior to the time I plan to move out of state! Tint World has many options available for tinting from basic to premium to deluxe. I got the deluxe package with the ceramic tint for my vehicle's windows in order to block the most heat possible from entering my vehicle. Ever since installation, my vehicle has run cooler with better mileage per gallon and, in the case of my Tesla, has the charge on its battery last substantially longer! I've heard of other tinting options that block cell phone reception in your vehicle, but this is not the case for the tints offered at Tint World. I've had the pros at Tint World install a custom Android Auto and Apple Car Play unit before, and Sultan was even able to install a custom speedometer/CarPlay display behind the steering wheel in my 2021 Tesla Model Y which works great today! My boyfriend may have them install a nav screen and CarPlay unit into the dash of his Volkswagen sedan, and I am considering having them install two of the hardwired Blackvue brand dash-cams in my truck as well to help reduce my insurance premiums every month and to potentially save me a huge hassle if ever I get into an accident. 10/10 I WOULD recommend Tint World to anyone looking for the services they offer, including dash cam installation, Window Tinting, Paint Protection Film installation, Vehicle Wraps, Android Auto / Apple CarPlay installation, stereo install, and more. My stang came with a roof wrap when I bought it, but over the years and being under the hot sun faded the wrap and it started pealing away giving my poor car an unappealing look. Initially, I wanted to wrap the whole car but I ended up just having the roof rewrapped. I knew it was going to be a lot work, even Sultan told me when he had a look, but they did it! I really appreciate their hard work, now my car looks so handsome again. I am really impressed with Tint World and will take my future cars there to get them tinted or wrapped. Took my cars to Mr. Tint in San Jose and when they checked the tint installed by Tint Word with a light meter, it registered at 42% instead of the 35% I had paid for and told was installed. I had it ripped and reinstalled professionally by Mr. Tint. Avoid this place as you will not get what you paid for. read more

Short Review -- 5/5, would highly recommend. Longer Review -- My second time getting tint done here and I'm happier now than I was the first time, and I was pretty satisfied the first time. Two weeks ago I went to get my front tints removed and replaced with a darker shade to match the rest of my vehicle, and I fell in love with my vehicle once again. They even replaced the battery in my keys to unlock and lock my car, even after I stripped the screw and thought I couldn't get it open. This place and its staff goes above and beyond. Pricing is fair and reasonable, considering the quality of the final products. After two weeks, no bubbling/discoloration. My first tint job here was in the summer and those windows have no bubbling/discoloration as well. Highly impressed. This is my place. I took my car in to have the old tint replaced because it was failing. The price is pretty good for the area, but what sold me was the attention to detail. The shop was clean and in order. This is my pet peeve when it comes to automotive shops either mechanical, detail, body shop, or specialty shop. If it is not clean then I usually look somewhere else. If you cannot keep your shop in order how do you expect me to think you would keep my car in order. Will all the parts go back on that came off? They had a little issue with my car and they told me what was going on and that it would take a little longer than expected. I am a pretty laid-back guy when it comes to this, so I came back the next day and the car looked great. I took it home and parked it in the garage. Now I just need to wait until the rain passes so I can shine her up and take it back on the streets. Can't wait!!! read more

I made an appointment for the following Monday at 9am for both the tinting and lighting job on my Ford Fusion 2017. Let me just start off with the lights. They're amazing and I do enjoy using them, although it's not what I had originally wanted. On their website (i'm not sure if it's still on there anymore but,) they list all the services they offer-interior lighting being one of the big things. I was very specific when I told Sultan what I wanted. I wanted the RGB Halo lights, as well as having my interior lined with those RGB Ambient Symphony lights. Unfortunately, he tells me that they no longer offer that kind of service... So then my question is, why do you still have it listed on your website, and even in your catalogues, if you don't even offer it in the first place? What they ended up putting in, were some led strips on the floor panel on all four sides, and they work perfectly fine- it's just not at all what I was originally wanting, so that's just a little frustrating. Now onto the tint. When I went to go and pick up my car later that day, he tells me that the small bubbles and minor imperfections seen on the tint will be smoothed out over time, and to just give it a couple weeks. Well let me just say, it's been over a month, and you could still see some small air bubbles, not to mention a giant scratch on my passenger side window from the top all the way down. It's not horribly done either, like i've seen much worse tints than mine, but i'm just a little disappointed by how much money I spent for a job that's not satisfactory. To put into perspective, He told me the tinting would be $550, and then the lights would be an additional $450, and he would give me a discount (which was a staggering $50) So almost $1k spent on a job that could of been 10x better. It was my mistake for going with the first option-without doing any prior research or comparing prices with anyone else. Sultan did a very good job at selling his product and services, I didn't feel like I needed to look any further, but I'm seeing prices at other places for no more than $250 for a full 5 window tint -just like what Tint World did to mine. Let's move on to the dash cam. The day I bring my car for the lights/tint, Sultan sees an unopened dash cam sitting in my car and offers to install it for me. He just tells me that I needed to get a hardwire kit for it. Nonetheless I appreciated his offer, and ended up buying the kit and making another appointment for them to install it. Here's where I started to second guess this place. He tells me for just a single front camera would cost $150, but if it had a back/rear camera, it would cost $250 to install. (other places quoted me for around $50- $125) Long story short, I almost flaked just due to the price, but they called me and told me to come back and they'll give me a good discount since they "value me as a customer" He ended up installing the camera and he told me "whatever I feel is appropriate to pay, I can pay" Quite frankly I wanted to give him about $20 just from the other couple hundred bucks he overcharged me previously, but I was decent and gave him $100. Final thing I'll mention is the wrap I've been discussing to Sultan with. I wanted a blue grey wrap - with a matte black stripe down the middle. I was quoted a little under 5k for the job. Now, once I found out that tint world loves to overcharge their customers, I did some research, and asked around. All other places i've asked (which is about 4) have quoted me in the range of about $2,300-$3,100... So yeah, don't think Tint Worlds gonna be wrapping my car. lol. Let me just put it out there that I don't mind spending decent money on things such as my car for example. I'm not frugal. I know that typically nothing cheap is ever really good and nothing good is ever cheap. But with that said, if i'm paying you hundreds or even thousands of dollars more than your competitors, your work better reflect that. Maybe if their work had match their prices, I wouldn't have an issue and would move forward with the car wrap. Unfortunately, since they cannot seem to prioritize customer satisfaction, and quality work over money, I personally don't think that I will be returning! :D read more

(Business Managers) attention he claimed that it was like that before he begun work on it and that because I had an older car those things happen easily. I got the impression that he was hoping that I wouldn't notice. At no point did Abdelrahim A. bring it to my attention which is the honorable thing to do in any service position.I got the work done last summer and I'm only reviewing this now because the panel falls out everytime i open the window now. I took my car in for headlight restoration after getting an estimate from a car detailing place in San Jose. The person that assessed my headlights at the detailing place was not very optimistic and told me the fogging was on the inside of the lens cover. I had just about given up when I found Tint World and drove it down during a lunch break. Justice looked at the damage and said he had seen worse and they could make the lights look much better. When I brought it in today Sultan gave me a similar assessment. The passenger side headlight was heavily scratched, because I tried a youtube DIY with sandpaper and had deep regrets the damage was irreversible. I am uploading before and after photos. I am extremely satisfied with the work and the outcome was better than I had hoped for! Highly recommend this business for headlight restoration in addition to their many other services. read more

Long story short: these guys did the right thing, and they will always get my business and referrals. Some background first - I had my tint done on four vehicles between 2016 and 2020, all of them at the Union City location, which was sold to a new owner who kept the name and subsequently moved to Fremont. The tint on my rear window began to bubble after 30 months, for reasons unknown. I took it to Fremont, with my invoice and they refused to honor the lifetime warranty. The team at Mt View honored the warranty, in spite of the fact it wasn't even their shop that did the work. They took a loss. They aren't going to get reimbursed for the warranty repair done by another shop. However, for a corporate and moral standpoint, they did the right thing for the customer. This should be applauded. Thank you to the team. I will be taking my new vehicle in a few day for a full tint, and send them as much business as I can. read more
