Very professional, and quick...they have always came to me making it super convenient if you want to have your tint done while you are at work. I've never had a problem with the tint coming off or peeling. My boyfriend brought his Mazda here over the weekend and I picked him up in my car since it was going to be a 2 hour wait to tint his car from front to back. The employees looked intimidating but were so nice to me, and I was not even a customer! My bf was unsure how dark he wanted to tint and was shown samples but remained indecisive. The female employee then walked us across the street to show us her car tint and that helped my bf make his decision. When the 2 hour mark was approaching we started driving back to pick up the car and received a phone call when we were a few minutes away, perfect timing! I thought the price was reasonable, given the quality and service involved. I was most impressed that Juan came out to my work and did the entire job in the parking lot (no additional charge.) That saved me a lot of time and convenience. The tinting took about 3 days (luckily it was somewhat sunny) to completely dry out and I'm quite happy. As a side note, though there is a lifetime warranty, all tint (whatever brand) is basically guaranteed to good for 7-8 years, and then the inevitable fade starts to happen. The manufacturer's lifetime warranty only covers that, and does not cover installation. Plexus cleaner is a (so I've read) a great cleaner for tints and provides some protection as well. Maybe I'll update the review in 8 years. read more

Update: 3rd time customer. This place still rocks and does very professional quality work. I've used both Juan's mobile service on a weekday, and then recently the on-site service with a Saturday appointment. Not only do Juan and his team perform excellent work, but it's a nice place to hang out while the work was being done, especially for someone with no San Jose street cred. An immaculate work area with a comfy couch, big TV, fish tank, and did anyone mention high-speed wi-fi that actually works? Plus, you get to watch while all the work is done, a big plus if you're particular about your car. Juan also insists on pointing out all the scratches in your glass, whether you really want to know or not :) Would recommend these guys to anyone, well worth the price for the excellence of the work. read more

I called, last minute to get a quote and appointment for window tint before I left town. They couldn't get to me with a mobile appointment, but were able to squeeze me in the following morning at their shop. I was slightly skeptical about the quality of work I may be getting, due to the atypical site for the business. Fortunately, my experience couldn't have been more professional or outstanding. They got me in/out in a little over an hour and did an incredible job! They disassembled the door trim and applied the film below the belt line. I had totally forgotten I had a yelp account. But anyway onwards! Tints R Us is amazing. Thanks yelpers for the help! I called them for a price quote, and right off the bat they asked for my car model, gave me a quote for all 4 windows + back window for $249. I made an appointment right away - their earliest one was the next week! Anyway, the area is kinda shady. I parked around the corner since they were working on another BMW at the time, and right when I walked up to them, they asked if I had parked in a "safe location"! Wow! Did that scare me or what... but it was fine :) Anyway, they were working with the other customer so I took a seat in their "waiting room", the garage area. They were re-doing one of her windows for perfection! I found that to be amazing :). Anyway, I got a 15% tint on my entire car, and in the end, my car looked great! The tints look absolutely professional, and even better, they accepted credit cards and cash (I paid half/half!)! I would definitely recommend people here! read more

After looking around for awhile, I decided to give Jose my business. Obviously they're price is very competitive (see all other postings). I had my back & 2 rear's done on my Mini. Couple people thought the neighborhood was "shady" - I didn't get impression and felt quite comfortable. Jose and his crew pumped this out in just under an hour (including my questions on product & service). Only been a couple days but the results look great, and expect once completely dry will still be as good if not better. I was very happy to find out that they were willing to drive to your location for convenience and ended up having them work on 2 cars. I have gone to Juan three times now and I have experienced excellent service each time. I found him five years ago and got all four windows of my Civic done. It looked great and served me well until a month ago when a cop cited me for having tinting on the front two windows. I knew that technically it wasn't legal when I got them done initially (Juan made sure I knew) so I wasn't upset. I went to Juan to get the tinting removed so that I could get the citation written off and he gave me a great deal. He also put lighter tinting back on when I returned later (70% is legal). The reviews are accurate- I found these guys on yelp searching for tint jobs in the bay area. The Cali sun was starting to take a toll on me, and wanted to get some basic UV protection on my front side windows. Juan runs a very professional shop out of his garage and are very up front about prices and services. He has a leather couch in his garage for guests to sit in while you wait. He also explained very clearly the different types of protection and tint he carries. The job took a little over an hour. And they accept cash and credit. I just had my windows tinted on my Honda Accord after 3 years of owning it. I am not sure what took me so long but I am so happy that I went to Tint's R Us. I love the new look of my car. I highly recommend them and I will definitely be going back to them if I ever need a tint. My mom was actually the one to refer me to this place and her car looks really good, it's been about 1 year since she got her tint and has not had any issues with it.
