I bought a new car and have always wanted to have my car windows tinted. I looked on Yelp and was overwhelmed with all of the 5 star reviews for this business. I didn't waste any time and called on a Wed and was seen this morning on a Saturday at 8am. When I arrived, I was a bit confused because there are no street signs and this business runs out of a very nice gentleman named Juan's home. He saw me pull up at 7:45am and waved at me and moved his truck for me to pull into his side driveway. He was happy to see me early and there was no problem getting me started before my 8am appointment. While making my selection of different tint swatches hanging in his garage, he also took me out to his work truck and a car out front to give me an idea of what the different tints looked like before I made my final decision. He also explained to me that it is illegal to tint your front windows but did I listen? His business runs out of his garage and I was impressed how clean and professional it looks for a home garage business! He showed me to the big couch where the plasma TV was set up for me to watch. He also had a fridge full of drinks and told me to help myself. While I waited, him and his business partner got down to business tinting my new car. It was fun watching them do their craft as I sat and watched. They are very intricate and detailed in every part of it. Plus while doing that to my car, Juan engaged in me with polite and fun talk while I waited. I felt like I was hanging out at a big brother's garage...I had fun! They were done by 9:30am, so in all it took maybe an hour and half to finish my car which included the hatch back window and all 4 side windows. I of course had the back windows darker and just slightly tinted the front windows enough to make a difference but not noticeable enough when the Po-Po come hunting me down. ;) Total cost came to $250 for all of my windows. They except all payments including credit cards, cash and check. Before I left, Juan explained to me the importance of the care for my windows when washing them now and to avoid ammonia products on my windows. He walked me out to my car, shook my hand and told me to enjoy my car. I really liked this guy and his sincerity and hard work because it's obvious he cares about what he does! So after my tint, i noticed that my back brake lights werent working... when i braked i notices that the light didnt shine because i usually see it. But i figured hey, i got a 15% on the back, maybe its so dark that i cant see it but WRONG! I had my friend look at my brake lights while i stepped on the brakes and Indeed., my brake light was out! The same light that i had seen them take off to install the tint on my back window... I called juan and asked him if he maybe forgot to rewire something and asked if i can come by and take a look. he said he'd call me back but i never heard back from him!!! wtf!!! I hate when some places or services are nice when your a new client and what not, but the moment you have an issue they're not showing you the same customer service. I now have to bring my car somewhere else to have it checked and would have to pay more for a diagnostic fee. The tint is fantastic dont get me wrong, but now one of my car parts doesnt work due to the tint and nothing is being done to fix it from the same person that messed around with it. read more

Juan Pena is the owner of Tint's R Us and has 20 years experience tinting windows. He has tinted three cars for me in the past two years; a 2013 VW GTI, a 2014 Nissan Altima, and a 2015 VW Golf R. The rear window on the VW's is very tricky due to the curves. All three cars are perfect. Tint's R Us is a family run business and operates out of Juan's converted, detached garage. The installation area has a permanent roof to control the installation environment and the garage itself has been converted to an extremely comfortable waiting area for the customer, and work area for Juan's team. Juan will also come to your location for the installation, however, you will need to know the desired shade prior to the installation. Juan uses Solar Gard window tint and includes a lifetime warranty on his work and tint. The tints are computer cut for each vehicle. On all three cars, I had all windows from the B pillar back tinted as well as clear tint put on the rear bumper to protect them from loading the hatch/trunk area. Installation took about an hour. His prices are very reasonable for the quality of work. His team (which includes his brother and occasionally, his son) are clean and professional. Most importantly, the final product is outstanding. Juan actually offers a mobile service and will come to you (as long as you aren't TOO far away) and will stay true to the quote he gives you. The price for all windows, on top of the quality and darkness of the tint, is truly unbeatable. I was blown away when I was given the number of how much it would cost. I also originally planned to tint my tail lights, but Juan actually pointed out something that I had never even noticed before: there was so much moisture built up in my tail lights! He was willing to do the work, but he recommended that I get them replaced and then come back to him to get them tinted.
