Stopped here on my way to MoMA around 3PM on a Friday--pretty busy for such a small spot. They had three people working, but the cashier was also making drinks, so the line started to build. Super friendly though, and almost every seat inside was taken. I got the mango matcha... kinda mid. The matcha was a bit grainy and the mango tasted pretty artificial (not shocking, but still). One of the are managers Evelyn was incredibly helpful helping to find a lost back containing all kinds of work related tech. Stopped by here in the morning because I needed coffee quick , and wanted to switch it up from starbucks. I had never been here before but was satisfied! I got a latte with almond milk and cinnamon, it was delicious and just the way I enjoy my iced coffee. The place is also nicely lit up and cute inside, with comfy tables. So me, United Mileage Plus person so I have to go to Newark to fly in and out of New York City. I take the train to New Jersey transit there to the Newark airport and I like to leave extra early because I cannot wait to get up in the morning and go have my "Scotty bagel" at Le café. Needed to take a train at Penn Station and decided to pass by this nice elegant coffee place, Le Cafe Coffee. This coffee place has a great variety of coffee and what caught my eye was the elegant design of the exterior and interior of the coffee shop. Very attractive so I decided to see if the coffee measures to the design of the store. I decided to grab a lavender latte and the cashier made sure she took my order correctly by asking me whether I want it hot or iced, the type of milk, and the size of the latte. I ordered it iced, large, and with skim milk. The latte was pretty expensive, cost me $8.66 including tax!! I waited for a couple of minutes until the latte was finished and they put a sleeve for me after they finished making it. I examined the latte and sure they put a lot of ice cubes. So much ice! I wish they put less. I tasted the coffee and could taste the lavender. It was pretty strong to the point that I was very calm and drowsy. The sugar combined with the espresso made a bitter sweet taste on the tongue. My mouth smelled like lavender espresso the whole day after I had it. This location is pretty spacious with seating around the whole cafe leaving the center of the cafe with a lot of space. There are condiments on the side with tissue, straws, sugar, and sleeves for you to grab. read more

I was in my morning commute to work. I generally make coffee at home but this was a morning I had run out. I was already going earlier than I needed to so stopping by for morning coffee at a shop was as good a day as any. I walked up looking at the menu where I saw different coffee or tea items listed with 1 or 2 prices. I decide on a cappuccino which had one price listed. The register person was very nice, they spoke with a smile. They asked if I wanted regular milk, so I ask what kind they have. Almost smugly, she said 'everything' like she was proud that they did. She indeed meant everything as she went through the list 2%, skim, whole, oat, almond, you name it, they did have all I can think of. I said oat milk. She even asked what size I wanted which to me is a strange question because only one price was listed, so I say a medium. My order came out to being $2 higher than the listed price. I have no idea if that's because I asked for a medium or if oat milk costed more or if the tax just brought it up. I should've asked for clarity but I was expecting a higher price anyway and I think it's important to keep in mind. So I did get an Oat Milk cappuccino where medium seemed to be a 12oz cup. I drank it maybe 30 minutes later cause I knew it would be hot, but it tasted like walnuts for some reason. There was no sugar added which honestly a proper cappuccino doesn't need sugar. It was very calming, warm, cozy. It drank very smoothe and very good. Besides the pricing being a bit unclear, if you're used to how NYC charges, it's normal. I didn't wait long for my order. I am a lifelong New Yorker and this was the most delicious bagel I've ever had. I wish I remembered all of the ingredients.
