I've been coming to Tio's for many years! I was introduced to it by a family friend and I've had the honor of introducing my family and other friends to it as well over the years. I've never had anything bad here. The food is SO GOOD! Definitely satisfies the craving when you want good Mexican food! Their burritos are PACKED! Lately I've been ordering their chicken taquitos and they are so good. Their rice and beans are amazing as well. They also have a decent salsa bar and they let me grab a couple of little to-go cups of their salsa to take with me when I order for take out. This place is SO nice after the remodel. So happy they were able to stay in the same spot and just expand. Nice decor and plenty of seating. And it's very clean. I typically order for take out these days and I like coming in myself because the staff is so friendly. A couple of them still remember me from when I was in college lol! I definitely recommend giving Tio's a try. This is the original location and I feel like it's honestly the best one.

    Quesadilla with no cheese?

Where do I begin? I asked for a chicken quesadilla and all I got was chicken and a flour tortilla. The quesadilla was wrapped like a burrito. (See photos)and the sad part about it is that the lady said that she's just as shocked as we are well get your people and get them together and make sure they know how to cook cause when people are spending their hard earned money and this economy I'm gonna need you to do better. I feel that you guys have dropped the ball this time and I feel like you need to do better in the near future for other customers cause you just lost one.

A business acquaintance lives this place, brought us here for business lunch, great food, service, and lively ambiance, highly recommend.

I ordered a Mexican salad with chicken and a carne asada torta. I've attached the images, and I hope they speak for themselves. The shredded lettuce and shredded yellow cheese departure these plates from traditional ingredients. It literally looks like the salads or sandwiches you can buy at a local gas station. I was extremely disappointed, and I will never step foot in here again.

Tio's on Lemon has great food! Taco Tuesdays is Buy one Get one Free hard shell tacos, the best! Their nachos are loaded and the chips are freshly made. We enjoy their burritos- they are not skimpy in the filling and quite large and heavy, get them with rice and beans in the side when you order a dinner plate. Great horchata and freshly made churros too. Nice and clean with great service.

A burrito that was close to 15$

Food is always dry and they skimp out on the meat. Flavor is bland as well. Ambiance is nice but wouldn't recommend for their food.

Ordered 2 cheese enchiladas. $8-9.00. 1/4" thick. Never had an enchilada that thin. Expect to be hungry after eating.

Our hostess was kind and checked in on my reservation. The food was a mixed bag - the house sauce was a bit bland, but the habanero sauce was delicious, with just the right balance of tanginess and heat. My friend ordered a plate of nachos for the table, which came with chicken that, oddly, didn't taste like chicken. It was almost as if it had been cooked in the same area as the fish, but it was still edible. Our server, Priscilla, was very attentive, checking in frequently and keeping the good beers flowing, even on a busy game night. The carnitas were good, but we'll try something else next time. The atmosphere was great, and Mexico's win was a bonus - we might be back to catch another game.

The way it was going to be prepared was with spring mix, which I don't prefer. I asked for a spicy skinny margarita, and they were able to accommodate me for that as well! Yummy! The reason for the four stars is because the parking lot is extremely dark and sketchy looking. Unfortunately, I don't feel safe outside there. I feel like it could easily be fixed with an investment in better lighting outdoors.

We kicked things off with the Guacamole, and this was no ordinary starter. Creamy avocado blended with fresh lime and cilantro, crowned with crunchy roasted pumpkin seeds for texture and depth. We added the chicharrones, which arrived light, airy, and perfectly crisp--ideal for scooping and savoring every bite. For my main, I went all in with the Mole Sampler, a true celebration of Oaxacan culinary artistry. Served with shredded chicken, rice, and warm tortillas (perfect for dipping), the sampler let me explore three distinct and beautifully crafted moles: Mole Negro Deep, complex, and slightly bitter-sweet, this is the king of moles for a reason. Smoky, earthy, and rich, with layers of dried chiles, spices, nuts, seeds, and just a whisper of chocolate. Bold, mysterious, and unforgettable. Mole Coloradito Warmer and more approachable, with a gentle sweetness and mild spice. Brighter than mole negro and wonderfully balanced--comforting without being heavy and incredibly smooth. Mole Almendrado Silky, nutty, and luxurious. Almonds take center stage here, adding body and elegance. Subtly sweet and less spicy, this mole felt refined and indulgent. Robin opted for the Cochinita Pibil, Yucatán-style slow-cooked pork loin in achiote sauce, served with habanero red onions. The pork was fall-apart tender, richly flavored, and swimming in savory drippings at the bottom of the bowl--pure comfort with a bold, citrusy kick. We closed out on a high note with the Plátanos Fritos--fried plantains drizzled with condensed milk. Crispy, sweet, and utterly addictive. A simple dessert done exceptionally well. The service was friendly and attentive from start to finish, with staff happy to answer questions and offer recommendations without ever feeling rushed. The restaurant itself was clean, bright, and inviting, creating a comfortable atmosphere that made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. From the depth of the moles to the tenderness of the pork and that sweet final bite of plantains, Sabor A Oaxaca delivered a memorable meal that celebrates regional Mexican cuisine with care and authenticity. We're already looking forward to a return visit.
