Do not come here if you are looking for a fancy place to eat mexican food bc you will be disappointed. That being said, yall, i love Tios! They will use a lot of cheese, you have been warned, but I personally like it. I love their tostada bowl, I love their chile relleno, I actually really like their chili verde and i love their breakfast, my favorite being the huevos rancheros. I like coming to the tios on Lemon but the one by Day Creek is just as clean and nice. I love tios and I don't understand the negative reviews other than perhaps you were expecting a sit down restaurant, which its not since you are expected to order and pay for your food at the cashier, so theres that. The service is always great, you order at the cashier but they will bring you your food and clean up the table too so thats where your tip is going if you eat in. They also serve beer. OMG, First time in this restaurant since I'm not familiar with the Mexican food much I thought I will be safe by ordering chicken fajita plate how can you miss up cooking Onion bell peppers and chicken? My FAVORITE MEXICAN FOOD! The food is always FRESH, HOT & Delicious. They never disappoint. I love the beans & rice here. The entrees are amazing. The salsa bar has these carrots that are marinated or something that is wonderful and they are mild NOT HOT! They go right along with whichever entree you pick. I've been coming to Tio's for many years! I was introduced to it by a family friend and I've had the honor of introducing my family and other friends to it as well over the years. I've never had anything bad here. The food is SO GOOD! Definitely satisfies the craving when you want good Mexican food! Their burritos are PACKED! Lately I've been ordering their chicken taquitos and they are so good. Their rice and beans are amazing as well. They also have a decent salsa bar and they let me grab a couple of little to-go cups of their salsa to take with me when I order for take out. This place is SO nice after the remodel. So happy they were able to stay in the same spot and just expand. Nice decor and plenty of seating. And it's very clean. I typically order for take out these days and I like coming in myself because the staff is so friendly. A couple of them still remember me from when I was in college lol! Where do I begin? I asked for a chicken quesadilla and all I got was chicken and a flour tortilla. The quesadilla was wrapped like a burrito. (See photos)and the sad part about it is that the lady said that she's just as shocked as we are well get your people and get them together and make sure they know how to cook cause when people are spending their hard earned money and this economy I'm gonna need you to do better. We've been going here for years. As the kids appetite grew, their Taco Tuesday has been a saving grace to help the pain of the shrinking wallet. With picky eaters, their hard shell tacos have yet to disappoint especially after the kids hard workout/game. Lately we've either gone to-go or dined outside. In either case, the service has been great. We've always been offered chips while waiting for the order. Their fresh sliced lemons are a nice touch to their salsa/jalapeño "bar". While it's busy on Tuesday afternoon/evening, the ambiance is still a good place to go to end the day. read more

Tio's on Lemon has great food! Taco Tuesdays is Buy one Get one Free hard shell tacos, the best! Their nachos are loaded and the chips are freshly made. We enjoy their burritos- they are not skimpy in the filling and quite large and heavy, get them with rice and beans in the side when you order a dinner plate. Not sure if they have new staff or ordering through Uber eats screws up your order. Today my order was missing items asked for and also the meat was super salty. This restaurant has become a true hit or miss which makes it one of those restaurants that you consider no longer ordering from. Train your staff to higher standards when it comes to your food. I don't know why the ratings for this place are so low. I went here yesterday for taco Tuesday. Ordered take out around 2pm. For being after lunch, the restaurant was pretty packed with people. There were even people outside eating in the dinning area. The place was clean inside and out. The carne asada plate was delicious. I carne asada didn't have any pieces of fat or tendons around it like most restaurants. The meat was seasoned nicely and it had sour cream and cheese inside. The rice and beans were good. Not the best I've had but definitely acceptable. The rice lacked some salt and was overly fluffy for my liking. The beans were good, but a tad dry for me. I also had their buy one get one free tacos for taco Tuesday. I had the beef and potato tacos. Both were good. I love the crunch on their tacos! And their hot sauce at the salsa bar is nice and tasty. It has a Smokey flavor to it similar to the salsa at King Taco but not as spicy. Good food and good prices! read more

My Hostess and Server (I think her name was Alejandra, the beautiful Senorita with the Sensually Eye Catching Red Lipstick) was so kind and modeled the best Morning Hospitality Manners! Her Energy was peaceful, friendly, relaxed, and enthusiastically accomodating when I ordered a Bacon Omelette with Fresh Avocado Slices added ;0) I paired it with a Freshly made Horchata and a hot cup of soothing Coffee, and even though Pancakes were crossed out on the Menu I was so stoked to see BUNUELOS made here!!!! My Church Aunties make it every Christmas for our Cookie Exchange but I've never had one fresh out of the Fryer so I was so excited to have it for my Breakfast Feast ;0) While my Food was being prepared fresh, I happily helped myself at the Salsa Bar and set the mood with some of my Favorite Salsas and pickled Vegetables! My Hostess was so fun to talk to as we chatted about the Novelas we enjoyed watching and the Actors and Actresses we respected in that Profession. Another Patrona came out and greeted us in warm and caring Espanol too!!! It's a lovely place. Three out of five meals we ordered was cold. I sent mine back and went to the counter three times to find out how long my meal was going to take, each time I was hit with, what food? Taco tuesday! A dozen hard shell beef tacos for half price. This is another standard restaurant that has been around for a long time and has a phenomenal following. The offerings given for hard shell tacos are chicken, potato, and real shredded beef, read that taco smells... real shredded beef not that mystery meat by product they pass off as beef. Lots of shredded iceberg lettuce and lots of shredded cheese, white and yellow. Their salsa bar has only three offerings, a hot sauce, a mild sauce and a pickled jalapeño, carrots and onion accompaniment. We did this as a take out, but after seeing the other items being served in the restaurant, I think another trip to eat in is warranted.
