The worst pedicure I've ever received! I made a reservation for earlier this week. When I arrived I was told the person I had booked not there. I was led to a chair, place was mostly empty. The woman assigned to me was so rough, that while buffing my toe nails she pressed so hard that the skin on my toes was stinging. Of course she drew blood! The bottom of my feet were half done, she left a lot of skin around the heels. I've been pulling off the hard pieces of skin she left! She never bothered to clean up the mistakes of polish on the toes. Can't believe it was such a bad experience. Nevergoing back there!! read more

I was unhappy with my experience at this salon. First off the girl who did my fill didn't bother to clean up the towel from the last customer and just used it for my nails as well. I was charged $2 for her to make my nails slightly shorter and $3 for nail repair. I'm not sure what this was for since I did not have a broken nail. I also don't like the way my nails look. I asked for thin nails and the top of the curve of the nail is thin, but the sides are thick. I honestly think this place needs to be inspected. It seemed dirtier then other places I have been to. read more

Went here with my little cousin -- Whoever was working on her feet was too aggressive and rough, to the point where she said her feet were hurting and she felt they were burning. We asked another tech to translate and ask her to be more gentle; She just giggled and continued being rough on her feet. As for my tech, she was rude and it was as if I wasn't there. I ABSOLUTELY love this salon-- and this is coming from a VERY picky person when it comes to getting her nails done. I'm being serious when I say- I've been looking for a place like this for YEARS ! I couldn't even find a place like this in Los Angeles. When I first walked in- I got a friendly greeting (surprise), I noticed the grand interior design- I don't really care about how the inside looks, but I was blown away- it was very charming and cute decor. You have a large selection of regular and gel polish, as well as exfoliators. The place is kept clean and the people are nice and easy to communicate with. I had my acrylic done by Iena. She is gentle and detail oriented. I love her! (Pictures to show) I just really wish this place was close to where I live, so I'll just enjoy this place as much as I can while my job site is here. I've been here twice for a mani/pedi and it has quickly become my favorite nail salon! I work out a lot and play a lot of sports, so my feet need a lot of love -- the nail technicians are really thorough and spend extra time making sure my hands/feet look and feel their best. Lindsey was my latest tech and she did an amazing job! The salon, itself, is large and clean. I haven't had to wait more than a minute or two for them to prep a chair. Some neat perks include the complimentary scented baths and scrubs for your pedicure. I choose the citrus because I love the way it smells, but they also offer lavender and mint. Also, callous removal, parrafin wax treatment, and a hot towel are all included with a basic mani/pedi. I just left the place and already can not wait to return next month! read more

It was me, my best friend, and my mom for pedis and nails. We all had a great experience. Everyone very detailed and polite. Wasn't a fan of getting my nails painted when they started the pedicure, but 3 of us a little over an hour before closing, it was much appreciated they didn't turn us away. Salon needs some touch up cleaning, but not dirty (nail polish accidents). Salon and polishes were organized and very nice selection of colors and dips. Next time I'm in town and need my nails done I will be stopping back. read more

Very disappointed! I had a gel mani/pedi and brought my two girls. While getting my pedicure I noticed a black spot on my nail where I had kicked something and asked (since I was using a light color) if we could cover the nail in a nude color prior to painting with the glitter and was told no no it will just be unique. First day my gel nails chipped because they hadn't filed them after making sure they weren't attached to my finger (there was gel polish extending over my nail on my skin on both my fingers and toes). My nails also weren't filed correctly and were sharp and crooked. The jewels on my one girls nails (which I was not asked about before they were applied and neither was she) broke off within the few hours. My other girl whose nails were done for her birthday went and played in the sprinkle after having them done and all but one nail was destroyed or completely lacking nail polish afterwards. read more

DESERVES 0 STARS‼ I got my nails and feet done at this shop and paid $120 within 3 days 4 nails had lifted, 1 nail broke and all my diamonds came off. I told the nail tech Lena that I didn't like how she did my nails or the shape but I still paid. Then to have my nails mess up in 3 days was crazy‼ I went back to show Lena and have her redo but she wasn't there so I came back the next day. She has the nerves to tell me that I need to pay again if I want them redone. I was LIVID‼‼ after raising enough hell she agreed to take my nails off for free. As I'm sitting in the chair in expressing how angry and upset I am and she giggled and said she wish there was something she can do but the price of nail supply has increased. My daughter and I have been going to this shop for 4 years and getting our nails and feet by Lena every time and always paid good and left a tip and to be treated like this was despicable. Made a appointment for my 2 girls and I simply because I was told by staff how busy it would be. It was far from busy, and after my experience I know why. Per usual for Florida, a storm came through that continued to blow the salon front door open......which they didn't seem to be concerned about. It was a little shocking giving the rain and wind we were getting. My tech got up multiple times during my full set, didn't want to do French tips(telling me how "old fashioned" they are), and many of my tips were crooked. I was NOT happy with my nails. I had to go home and fix many of them myself due to the fact I was practically pushed out the door. Avoid at all cost ladies! read more

The salon was clean and decorated on the inside. The decor was not sun-damaged, and looked somewhat updated. The staff was friendly and professional. They wore white uniforms, which is a first in my experience with strip-mall nail salons. There were at least 10 pedicure chairs. There were 4-6 manicure/nail desks. My mother had to wait at least 10-15mins before someone could get to her nails, even though we made an appointment. And they wouldn't sell me the OPI color that I wanted because it was the only one left in stock. I was happy with my pedicure, and I'm fairly picky. My mother was happy with her acrylics as well. They are awesome! They took me right away and they even included a paraffin wax on my hands with my gel nails. My nails were perfect and they lasted almost 3 full weeks. My whole family loves this place so I decided to give it a go. The inside was decorated beautifully, all the technology is updated and efficient, and everything looks brand new. Most of the staff is beyond nice and kind but still I wanted my experience to be so much better than it was. I got a regular pedicure and it started off nice. We had to wait only because we took a few minutes to pick out our colore, the water was not too hot, I was seated beside my friend, and there were magazines and a TV to watch if I got bored. Then the woman taking care of me started to trim my nails and proceeded to pull off a piece of nail all the way to the root. It hurt so bad- and still hurts nearly twenty-four hours later as I write this review. Then I was given a paraffin wax treatmemt where the wax was scorching hot. I jumped and had to grit my teeth from the pain and the woman asked, "hot?" and I just smiled and shook my head while on the inside screaming bloody murder. I had a nice foot and leg massage but when she took off the wax my feet looked like two lobster tails- bright red and shining. It wasn't just me either, the woman I came with was also burned and a woman three seats down yelped and jerked her foot away. The wax is simply too hot. Perhaps it was just a bad day day but I won't ever go back. That is a reall shame because everything about this spa is great, with the exception of a few technical errors. read more

First time here. Walked in and no wait. The salon is beautiful and everything was clean. I had a deluxe pedicure and gel/shellac manicure. I loved that they match the gel color to regular color. I typically go with the same on toes and fingers. My color was Plum It Up - both in 408. The staff was extremely friendly. Kim greeted and seated me and Mary was my technician for both mani and pedi. She was fabulous. The price was shockingly low! I just moved here (temporarily) from Atlanta and the price difference for the same service left me in shock. This place is awesome! It's the biggest salon in winter haven. Also the most relaxing, they give you a nice arm and shoulder massage, and their massage chairs actually work! No need to wait for more than 5 minutes I was taken care of immediately. Didn't have much time either so they had 2 people work on me at the same time. I always get gel on my nails and regular polish on my toes it was $65 with a design. Totally worth it too, they have the largest selection of gel color I've ever seen. Lindsey did a great job on my St. Pattys day nails, and I'll definitely be going back to see her. Everyone was nice, service was fast but thorough my hands and feet are so soft. Tips and toes is a hidden gem, I would recommend it to anyone who hasn't been there to give it a try. The service that you get there is remarkable, there is a lot of different services that they offer along with a huge nail polish selection! I got shellac done by Lindsey and it was absolutely beautiful and it lasted three weeks. 2nd experience here don't pay $45 for the delux pedi. Unless you like getting your head smacked and beat on during the head/neck massage part. I guess anything goes behind the curtain. Today the heavy metal cuticle tool dropped into the bowl, hit my foot, and cut it. Ouch! And what is the green liquid they use to stop the bleeding? She applied the tip directly to my cut and then closed the bottle! This place is not sanitary or relaxing. read more

Let me just start off with saying I've been debating on writing this review but I cannot stand how I was treated and refuse to remain silent so here it goes. I went in on a Friday for a color change and one repair. I went to my usual salon for my initial fill however they didn't have the color I wanted and I knew H&N had it because they always do, so I picked a color and ended up hating it so I just went in to h&n for a color change and a repair on a broken nail, I had JUST got my fill two days prior to the color change, so I sat down with my color everything was fine they understood it was just a COLOR CHANGE and repair. The lady started removing the old color everything was fine then a man walked over and was like you want to take off acrylic and color change right? I responded with no, just a Repair and color change. The LADY doing my nails then THREW my hand in the air and shooed me away as if she wasn't making enough money off me so it wasn't worth her time to do my repair and color change. So the man that walked over told me to just go to his chair so I did, he was working on my repair & talked me into yet another FILL when I clearly did not need it, just agreed anyways because I was fuming already. and then out of no where I was told to go to ANOTHER chair and then now a THIRD person was working on my repair and color change and at this point I was about to just walk out. I was over it. But the 3rd person who finally fixed my nails was really nice and pleasant about it but just know, I will NEVER go back here ever again. Back then Tips and toes was my tried and true for YEARS. I sent plenty of friends and family here because I loved their work. But never again will I ever speak good on "H&N", their customer service or PRICES. Everyone in there was complaining about their prices when I was getting shuffled around from pillar to post.
