Tipsy Tiki = strong drinks, chill vibes, and zero regrets

We found this little gem while looking for a spot to watch the 49ers game, and it did not disappoint. Drinks were strong, smooth, and looked almost too pretty to sip on (almost). The piña coladas were the kind that make you rethink every sad blender version you've ever had at home, and the Tipsy Mai Tai definitely lived up to its name. The bartender was super friendly, the vibe was laid-back, and while there were a surprising number of Bucs fans hanging around, respect. It just added to the fun. TVs all around, good energy, and tiki drinks that sneak up on you in the best way. A great little spot to grab a few drinks, watch some football, and pretend you're living your best island life.

Tiki bar located in the mall food court in Waikiki. We actually came here two times in one day- once before the cirque de soleil show, then I brought my brothers here for an after show drink. Same bartender and she was great and very friendly, made killer drinks too. Lots of regulars here, but felt very welcomed. Cool vibe and was fitting for Hawaii.

Loved this place! We visited this cool little place on 02/21/25. Our server was fantastic I don't remember her name but she had a thick accent. We tried the Casamigos Cadillac margarita, guava margarita, chips and salsa, birria ramen, and the birria beef tacos. We returned on Sunday 2/23/25 for more food and drinks. We had the beef nachos and La Pina margaritas. The guy working Sunday was nice and provided outstanding customer service. The drinks are strong which is great! (We sat outside and were served by the outdoor staff).

This place will leave you tipsy or maybe I'm just a lightweight. I came in for a snack and drink and ordered guacamole and chips and a mai tai. Surprisingly, the guacamole and chips were very good. The guacamole was fresh and creamy. It needed a little more salt. The chips were light and crunchy. The mai tai was good and strong - sweet, sour, tropical and boozy. I felt tipsy within 30 minutes. Service was excellent and the vibe was relaxed and casual. The bartender was friendly and my food came out quickly. Thank goodness I was in walking distance and not driving. The mai was a strong drink. I drank it all because it was good and wasn't going to let it go to waste.

I walked up to the bar and was immediately greeted by Matt the bartender. He was super kind and friendly. I asked for a menu so I can decide if this is the place that I wanted, looked over the menu, decide to sit down. I asked for a Cadillac margarita, unfortunately, I fix my like it at first, but he did remake it for me and was perfect the second time (I am VERY picky when it comes to margaritas because I love them so much so not on him). I ordered the Local Catch fish tacos by his recommendation, and they were absolutely delicious. I did not get the rice and beans, but it was not needed, burst of flavors from the tacos. I love the music and the bar, not too loud, but also loud enough for good vibes. Seems like all of the coworkers like working with him and just all-around good vibes!! Thank you for the great experience and I may come back after my hike from Manoa falls :) Also, wanted to shout out, bartender/cashier, Jacob!! Very sweet guy with great conversation. If Matt, the bartenders, not here, it makes you go order from Jacob, because he is awesome!!

Food was just ok, and the server had to ask me what I ordered over and over. Drinks were also just ok. It's conveniently located but I would not recommend for more than a quick snack, like chips and guacamole. I was disappointed to say the least. We were looking for someplace to eat and wanted to eat near our hotel. We saw the International Food Hall and decided to look around and I am glad we did. Not only did we meet a local person who gave us restaurant and happy hour recommendations, but the fish tacos were the best I've ever had! Definitely better than the fish tacos in San Diego. I also had the calamansi margarita and tried the birria tacos. This place also has happy hour that last until 5 pm. Matt was our bartender that made the delicious margarita. The ambience was amazing and had striked up a conversation was a local woman and another tourist. We had a great time! Hawaiians are so friendly. Great service, as soon as I sat down I was acknowledged and greeted. I order a Mai Tai that was very tasteful and well portioned. Matt the bar tender was knowledgeable about local favorites and knew his drinks. You can tell he was well experienced. Best Mai Tai I've had all trip as many bars served their drinks without the fruit at double the price. Highly recommended and if you see Matt working make sure you ask for the house homemade Mai Tai! read more

One of the first spots I got a drink from in Waikiki with an awesome food court, It's more like a dining hall... The bartender Andrea was out of this world She was closing up but still had some aloha spirit and made my lady and I some awesome mezcal margaritas! Highly recommend stopping by It's a lot less expensive than a lot of other places The only hang up is that they close at 9:00 because they love their employees! read more

The bar and food hall are located in the heart of Waikiki at the iconic International Market Place, where Don Beach had his world famous bar Don the Beachcomber and invented the Mai Tai! It has a classic dive-meets-modern tiki bar vibe, where you can get classic tropical libations, amazing margaritas, or even something simple if you desire. Every visit I order a different holiday cocktail and this year I tried the Campfire Old Fashioned. Made with Skrewball and Jim Bean, stirred with cinnamon syrup, chocolate and orange bitters, the warm and rich drink features toasted marshmallows on top to tie the whole "campfire" vibe together. Between the immersive decor and creative seasonal drinks, this pop-up is a must visit for anyone wanting to get into the holiday spirit.

All of the flavor comes from the tonkatsu sauce. You get sesame seeds that you crush up in a bowl and add the tonkatsu sauce to it. The pork was good but it didnt blow my mind. Address on Kalakaua is a bit confusing as this bar is actually on Kuhio Avenue on the Mauka (mountain) side of the mall and hidden inside the Food Hall.
