This was my first visit to the location since Longbranch left, and I was admittedly a bit skeptical about the transition. A friend met me for happy hour and appetizers. I was sad when Longbranch closed, and this is nothing like Longbranch, but it still a great addition to the area. In the few weeks it has been here in its soft opening , we have picked up food 4 times. While mostly Nepalese in origin, there is an eclectic variety of foods including burgers, sandwiches, and pizza. Some dishes are very common, and some just look common. For example, I like chow mein and have had it many places, but the one here felt almost like a new take on that dish. The seasonings are definitely not what most people would associate with chow mein, and give it a spicy flavor that sets this apart. It's obvious the staff is still learning its way, but they are friendly and helpful. I have only been here once when they had live music, but it wasn't so loud that I couldn't hear anyone. Given the size of the bar area, that's actually a little surprising. read more

Wow what a great new place! The three of us went. We stuck with Nepalese food and we were rewarded with fabulous food and service. Best momos I've ever had, lamb and bison mix. Cauliflower fritters were delish. The lamb choila had intense delicious flavors, our first time with choila. The okra was good, not slimy. I had a signature cocktail which was very good as well. Really good restaurant and food. I wanted to sample almost everything because it all sounded so good but, we were in a hurry. I had the Cali Cobb Salad with chicken. Great food (the menu has something for everyone and the Nepali items we had were wonderful!). But not great service. Maybe it was where we sat. We were close to the door by the window. We didn't have a designated server, so we just had different people all the time - to take our order, deliver our drinks, deliver our food, clear dishes, take our second drink order, which took FOREVER to get. We had to ask the bartender if he got the order and he said it was the one he was making then. By then my friend was ready for another drink, so I told him. It still took several minutes to get my drink and another several minutes to get hers. No one asked it we wanted dessert. In fact, come to think of it, it felt like everything we ordered/asked for we did with someone who had swooped in for another reason. In order words, almost every request we made was to someone who did not come to talk to us, but just to deliver, refill, etc. To be fair, we were NOT neglected, and everyone was VERY nice. And someone did come by just to ask how everything was. So, besides the drink delay, it was a pleasant evening and I will definitely return. I would not sit there again though. A really loud band set up on the other side of the front door, and once they started playing we had to YELL to talk to each other. read more

Came here with the fam to try Nepalese food. It did not disappoint. Had the tipsy fries, fried calamari, chicken chili, Himalayan mo-mo, chow mein, duck choila, mustang chicken and if you have a kid that's a picky eater pepperoni pizza. All very delicious dishes. The food was really interesting and delicious. We had chow mein and Mo-Mo. Chow mein was unlike the Chinese version and absolutely delicious. The Mo-Mos were fabulous. I tried a Kavrele iced tea. It's like a cousin of Thai iced tea. Far less sweet with cream instead of condensed milk. Really interesting taste. Service was warm and friendly from everyone. It's a larger restaurant than I expected, split down the middle with the bar (with tables) on one side and the dining room on the other side. I'm going back! Really soon!! read more

The staff was friendly. I asked for mild heat but the food was so spicy I could only eat a couple of bites. The table next to us ordered the same dish that came out at the same time as mine. They had ordered extra spicy. I think the kitchen just made one spicy batch and gave me half to save money. Paid $100 for food I couldn't eat or take with me. I came looking for a place to watch the finale of Portugal vs Spain with three of my friends and came across this place. The second I walked in I loved the decor, ambiance, and how spacious it was. The food was delicious, flavorful, good presentation, and you can just taste the quality. We got chicken chili, duck choila, pork sekuwa, himalayan pizza, and himalayan mo-mo. Their cocktails were very nice as well. What made it even better and the reason I will be coming back is because they had great service. We just had a wonderful dinner at Tipsy Yeti. Every aspect was just relaxing and delightful. The ambiance has a relaxed rustic elegance. The service was over the top. We were having a quiet birthday and several members of the staff\owner group came over with very sincere blessings and kindness, wishing us well. As for the food, everything we ate was wonderful. The drinks (both the mocktails and cocktails), had a delightful Nepalese flare to them that made them wonderful. We ordered the artichoke appetizers, chicken momos and the okra. Each dish, with its array of sauces, was some of the best I've had. If you have an appreciation for spices, this is the place to go. They clearly work on their spice mixtures and have it down to an art. The cheesecake dessert was not your typical cheesecake. It was creamy yet light, and came with a deliciously intense whole berry sauce (ollaliberries??). Just a lovely experience overall. read more
