I found this place in March when I was looking for a place to chill after work. First impression, spacious yet, beautiful establishment, I was welcomed immediately upon arrival and I always choose to sit at the bar, the bartender/service personnel was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave me some incredible recommendations which I appreciate very much plus the drinks were phenomenal as well. Every dish that came out of the kitchen was executed beautifully, the flavors were mind blowing and the presentation was made w/ love, care and attention to detail. I ordered Steamed Chicken Momo 10/10 Must try The KTM Lamb Choila Omg another 10/10 The menu has plenty of variety, something for everyone.. literally!! Thank you Tipsy Yeti Restaurant & Bar family, I've been coming back almost every week since then and the staff always embraces me and treats me just like family . This amazing Restaurant has a patron and friend for life. I am truly grateful much love and deep reverence.

A hole in the wall yummy spot. Lots of options, even for the less adventurous. Great mocktail menu. Friendly service and an all around great find. The dumplings, called MoMo are simply fantastic. The broth they came in was so good, we were slurping.

I am thankful we have more and more of these locally-owned Himalayan restaurants; This one is Nepali fusion which is a cool twist!! Cute bar-like aesthetic with wood paneling. I ordered KTM Choila and had to try their momo as momo is one of my favorite dishes. Their momo was delightful!!! The chicken filling was flecked with spice and cilantro. The sauce was rich. The lamb dish was tender. Since I was taking Amtrak, I tried the sangria and it was flavorful and fruity. The staff (thank you Regina!) was attentive. I wish I could have tried a dessert/coffee/tea but I have to be frugal right now. I hope to return soon to try their other items like their dessert, mushrooms, okra, dal (lentil), etc.

It's a fusion bar and restaurant with American, Italian and Nepali cuisines! Foods are fresh and delicious. All in all, more on spicy and chilly side. Great variety of dishes and drinks with full bar. Servers are attentive and relatively quick. Flat entry wide entry good for accessibility. Bar area and dining are separate, good for accommodating different crowds connected through open kitchen and bar. Nice decorations. Live music Friday and Saturday nights with local musicians.

Reasonable prices. I ordered the Goat Curry, medium spice ($19) with saffron rice ($2) and hot milk tea ($5). Was a little disappointed by the goat curry. The flavor was excellent, but the meat was a bit tough. Ample serving size though so I'll have 1 or 2 more meals with what I ordered. The hot milk tea was alright. Nothing to write home about. Not very sweet, and they only offer Stevia packets, so pass. Our server was a chirpy, chipper guy, and they play some good folk or country music. Overall aesthetic is pleasant with shades of blue on the wall.

The name itself already tells you this place has potential, then you walk in, are warmly greeted and the smell of the food is incredible. They have every kind of top shelf alcohol and I even tried a Himalayan beer, which was different but good. The flavors of the food were exceptional. We did the Mo Mo Roulette, trying an assortment and the lamb was our favorite. The Himalayan pizza had a ton of flavor as well. All in all, a great experience.

My mother and I wandered into this restaurant after a long day of driving up from Los Angeles. From the cocktails to the desserts -- everything we consumed was amazing and full of flavor. The service was attentive and friendly, always available when needed. The restaurant has 2 sides -- a bar side and a dining side. Warm lighting with wood and brick make for a very comfortable ambience. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Berkeley!

Fun, delicious and great service. There is something for everyone here. I love the variety of food and the back patio is so comfortable. We will definitely be back.

This cool little jewel is definitely going into my rotation! Dim lit with beautiful bar decor, very friendly staff, and good music we had a great time. Starting with the pepper jelly and Brie partnered with tornado fries was a surprisingly good start. Pork belly with rice was the main and it was decent followed by some lamb and paneer momo's. 1st time having Nepalese beer as per recommendation from the bartender. Not too busy, attentive, and live music on Saturdays.

We came on a Saturday night and were seated by the window. It was a nice spot near where the band was playing but not to close. We enjoyed our craft cocktails with artichoke fritters, chicken momo, and tipsy fries. Everything was the delicious and the band was great. Looking forward to coming back.

Had a late lunch at an amazing undercover blow your taste buds away spot! Among the American items on the menu are wonderful choices of Nepali cuisine. I couldn't pass up trying something new...and I'm SO glad I did!!! I got an assortment of MoMo dumplings (chicken and paneer) each one bursting with flavor. Chicken was definitely my favorite. I also had a pear and Brie arugula salad. I wish the pear slices were thicker, but it was still great! My Dad had Cajun chicken pasta and that is the first time I've seen him eat every bite & didn't say a word bc it was so good. Lol The ambience did not match the rich Nepali taste, but that did not matter to me. Thank you to the sweet staff. I wish I had more time to try everything!!

This review is long overdue! My husband and I have been coming here ever since they opened, and at this point it's basically our weekly ritual. We had never tried Nepali food before, but one day we were driving by, saw the soft‑launch signs out front, and decided to give it a try. Best decision ever. From that very first visit, we were hooked. The Tipsy Fries, veggie chow mein, and Mustang Chicken are our go‑to favorites. Every dish is packed with flavor and made with such fresh ingredients. The chicken is always tender, perfectly seasoned, and the spices just burst in your mouth in the best way. You can tell the kitchen puts real care into every plate that comes out. One of the biggest reasons we keep coming back, though, is the staff. Every single employee here is friendly, warm, welcoming, and genuinely upbeat; they never seem to have a bad day. They remember us, greet us like family, and create such a positive atmosphere that you can't help but feel good being here. The space itself is great too. The restaurant is surprisingly large, with a lively bar area in the front and a spacious dining room tucked behind it. They have multiple big‑screen TVs, so there's always a game or event playing if you're in the mood to watch something. On certain nights and weekends, they host live music and events, which adds such a fun vibe. When the weather is nice, the outdoor patio is perfect for dining outside. They also host private events, and the layout makes it a great spot for gatherings. Overall, this place has become one of our absolute favorites. Amazing food, amazing people, and a consistently great experience every single time.

Ahhhhmazing food. Haven't had this type of fusion before so I plan to come back and try other dishes as well. Large space, and nice decor. The cocktails were a bit pricey so I settled on having beer instead. Staff were friendly and helped each other.

For the appetizers, we got the caprese salad ($19), cheesy garlic bread ($14), chicken wings ($18), and BBQ pork riblets ($18). The caprese salad was one of my favorites. The spring mix was super fresh, and even though I'm not the biggest cheese fan, I really liked the fresh mozzarella. The vinaigrette had the perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavors, making this a great spring or summer salad. The BBQ pork riblets and chicken wings were both a little dry. I liked the seasoning on the riblets, while the chicken wings were a bit lighter in flavor. The cheesy garlic bread was, as expected, super cheesy! I didn't realize the roasted garlic was served on the side, and personally wasn't the biggest fan of its flavor, but the focaccia itself had a great texture. We also shared the Aries ($22), Mercury ($21), and Cassiopeia ($25) pizzas. The Aries was a classic pepperoni pizza with a nice thin crust, and the Mercury was a margherita pizza. I liked the fresh tomatoes, although I wish there had been more basil. The Cassiopeia was my favorite of the three, and I can definitely see why it's so popular. The BBQ sauce was super flavorful and paired really well with the chicken and onions. Jupiter has a lively atmosphere and a really nice outdoor patio with live music, making it a fun spot for group dinners. I'd recommend making a reservation if you're coming with a larger group. Street parking is available nearby.

It wasn't as busy when me and my friend came, so there was no wait time. We got sat immediately and the customer service was awesome! When first going in, the bar/restaurant area is pretty small and intimate. I didnt know how to get into the speakeasy area, so I just asked the lady politely and she was super helpful and excited to help me! I wish I had got her name bc she was super attentive once me and my friend were inside the speakeasy. Also there was a man that was really attentive to us, I would say customer service in general was awesome and were happy to help! When inside the speakeasy, there's a good amount of tables to sit at and the self-serve pour of your choice of beer is a pretty cool concept. Then you're just charged on how much you pour. (So you can literally pour a small amount and only get charged a couple cents lol). They had some really yummy food/ beer options. I do wish they had more IPA options tho. For food, we ordered the pizza with 3 kinds of meat. For drinks, we ordered 2 tequila shots, and had 4 beers. I wish I had gotten more videos/ photos of this place, but I was too in the moment. Overall, I would LOVE to come again bc this was such a cool concept and who doesn't love beer??!

They have a variety of different beer flavors available through dispensers where you simply tap your card and pour as much or as little as you'd like while keeping track of the total $$. Our group shared one card and asked for four cups so everyone could sample different beers, which made it a really fun tasting experience. It's a great way to try multiple options without committing to a full pint of something you're unsure about. For food, we ordered the pizza, chicken tikka masala, naan, and tamarind chili black ribs. The ribs in particular had a nice balance of sweet and tangy flavors. However, the portions felt small for the price point, which was the biggest drawback of the meal. While the food was good, it didn't quite match the value of the drinks and atmosphere. Tap in lounge is a solid place to grab drinks and hang with friends. Just be prepared for food portions that are a bit smaller than expected for what you're paying.

The front part is a bar area with lots of tables and seating and outdoor seating as well. Since it was before the concert, we were able to enjoy some food and drinks from the bar and kitchen. It was also during their Happy Hour too which was great. My boyfriend got a drink (not sure what it was, but it was refreshing and citrus tasting?) and we shared a Bavarian soft pretzel with mustard and we got the white cheddar dipping sauce added on for a nominal fee. One of the best pretzels that I've ever had! Deliciously soft interior, nice chew to the texture of the exterior. Comes out hot, warm and delicious. Great on it's own, but great with the sauces too. Perfect dash of the coarse salts on it. I'd get this again for sure and would like to one day order more from their menu. The live house music area is in the back in a separate room. Restrooms were clean too. Enough space for the bands to sell their merch and do a meet and greet. Wasn't a huge venue and insane turn out, but it fit the crowd and I liked how intimate setting was. I was around 3-4 rows from the front and even with a mosh pit and wall of death, I was able to shift around and see the band more clearly. Easy visibility no matter where I was shifted around. Lighting was pretty good and made it easy to take pictures and video. I think the vocals were a bit more muffled than the rest of the band members playing, but that might just be the set up more than anything. Of all the venues I stopped by for the week, this had the most approachable and friendly staff. Greeted going and as we were leaving too. I didn't overheat at this one either, so the AC was A+!! There's paid parking nearby but if you read the signs and go around, you can get free street parking too. Bring more J-rock/over seas acts here, it was so good!
