Best part is, I learned a lot about the issue I am having with my PT Cruiser. I am from California and I'm glad to have met and used Edgar here in Las Vegas. Finally, I have a local mechanic I can trust!

Edgar must have been going through something personal when he came to help me. That's all I can…read morethink of to try to empathize and understand why he would treat me and my fiancee the way he did. I will do my best to be impartial and lay out the facts, but I'll be honest when I say that it does anger me to remember that I put my fiancee through this experience back in August. To begin, his communication is not clear in the slightest. I had to keep asking questions to gain clarity, and it seemed like I annoyed him by asking questions. He would often respond with one word responses or include ellipsis (...). When we met for the diagnosis, I shook his hand and gave a big smile. I asked if I could get him a drink or help him with anything as it was a hot August day. He hardly made eye contact with me and didn't smile. He figured out the issue with my car and I paid him $80 cash for the diagnosis (a reasonable/average price). Though he wasn't the kindest to me, I was already in for the diagnosis fee which he said goes towards labor, so I decided to move forward with labor. We spoke on the phone for a little when I asked him what his availability is for the labor, and how much it might cost. He said verbatim, "I don't know like $400?" and struggled to give me a day for availability, so I offered to give him a moment to think about it and text me when he figures it out. In text on Yelp I asked him what his hourly labor rate is to which he replied $120/hr. The day he is available I am working, but he says that's fine and that he can work on it while I'm at work. He shows up to do the work and he seems to be in a worse mood than the first time. I ask if I can get him anything before I leave for work, but he says no with his back turned towards me. I introduce him to my fiancee so she can assist him with anything he might need. While I'm at work, she's texting me that he's making her feel uncomfortable, so I tell her he might be having a bad day and ask her to bring him a cold drink. She does. He asks to use the bathroom so she takes him to our apartment's community restroom. He comments on the quality of the apartments and that they must be expensive. Uh oh. Time for payment. I'm at work so I'm not able to respond very quickly, but I ask him how much I owe him, to which he says $400. At $120/hr, the math didn't add up. He demands $400 and says he said that's how much it was on the phone. Will someone please explain in what world I ask for his hourly rate if it was clear to me that it was going to be a flat $400? We spoke on the phone a little to which he starts yelling and cussing at me while I'm just trying to gain some clarity on this obvious misunderstanding. My fiancee is texting me that she is extremely uncomfortable being around him, so to avoid any further issues or discomfort, I tell him I will pay what he is demanding. I tell him I will send him $320 to which he starts raging at me again. When he calms down a little I explained that he originally told me on Yelp that the diagnostic fee will go towards the labor. He reluctantly accepts after checking our Yelp conversation. I send my fiancee down one last time with the money in cash (to be nice because I know he's not claiming any of this on his taxes). I apologize for the misunderstanding, even though I still think the misunderstanding was his fault within his poor communication and customer service. He says "lose my number" after he still got what he demanded for. Screenshots attached. I am giving him 2 stars because the work he did was great. The part he installed has held up and is still working great to this day. Thank you for your service. If you were going through something personal then, I hope things have turned around for the better. All love!

Trusted imports helped us with a basic tune up, wheel rotation and helped fix an annoying broken lift spring for our rear cabin window. I can't believe it! Our car runs so smooth now. The steering wheel doesn't shake any more. It is solid and steady. Our mileage on a tank of gas improved by almost 50 miles on a tank of gas. Can a good mechanic make this much difference?!? Yes! I can't believe it! And our rear window spring was fixed. Our prior mechanic quoted us $1,000 to fix. We didn't want to do it but Trusted imports charged us about $250 parts and labor. Boom! Done. Trusted imports is fair and honest and more importantly, they did an amazing job on our baby. We found our Vegas mechanic! Thank you!!

They actually dug in to figure out what the real problems were, and provided me with legit quality repairs, not just slapping a bandaid on a big issue like some places do. The prices are fair and the communication while my truck was in the shop was much appreciated. I hope to have this thing another 20 years and having a reliable, knowledgable and quality Toyota mechanic with Trusted Imports will help with that. Thanks guys!

We thought we'd picked up a dependable car, a 2013 Nissan Altima. We found out afterwards it needed quite a bit of work, including a catalytic converter. We called one shop in Las Vegas and were given a ridiculous quote for the converter. Passion Auto was our next choice and the quotes for the various services were spot on with what my research showed they should be. They also identified an issue the first shop missed, a shredded serpentine belt. Passion Auto was very understanding of our situation and did good work at a fair price. I highly recommend them.

Once I turned on my car again to use it started shaking a lot I was concerned because I just got it fixed. So I took it back to this auto repair because they had fixed it to begin with. Once they checked it they said the water pump is leaking. I asked them why didn't they tell me it was leaking before they fixed my gas blank they told me nothing was wrong with it before but now it is. How?? I only drove it less than 10miles! They wanted to charge me another 1k ! How do they fix a leak and give back the car with a brand new leak? I told them if they can please see if we can work something out because it was strange that all of a sudden it has a new problem. They said they'd get back to me. They never got back to me they just ghosted me. 2015 Audi A6
