I even got a message from the store from a person named "Sam" so I called back within 10 min to talk to "Sam" and I was told there "is no one who works there with the name 'Sam.'" Toyota told me to get a jump and didn't budge when I said I had no way to do so. Toyota then told me to call AAA - I didn't have the time to wait because we needed to leave in an hour to head to an important appointment. So, I called the nearby NTB where we get our tires. They immediately sent someone over to jump start the car. I drove straight over to NTB and they took our car in immediately and had us ready to go in just 30 minutes. And, I hadn't even mentioned the upcoming appointment - they just took care of us. The battery price was less than the average prices I found on Google and they DEEPLY discounted the labor. It would have cost me as much or more to buy a battery, install it myself, and have it disposed of. I"ve always been extrememly pleased with this team and they were at their awesome best today. Extremely Disappointed and Concerned About Today's Service…read more I'm very upset with the service I received today at Valvoline. What should have been a routine oil change turned into a frustrating and concerning experience. A technician jammed an evac tube into my oil well in an attempt to drain the old oil -- a method I've never seen used before and clearly not the right one( Jamming the tube into my engine). I sat for 20 minutes before anyone even explained what was happening. The only reason I was told anything was because I walked over and asked why they were yanking under my hood. I ended up waiting for 2.5hours while they kept trying to remove the tube and pieces from my engine -- without giving me any proactive updates or clear explanation at all. Now, my car is disabled, and I'm stuck with no vehicle. It has to be towed to a mechanic because of their mistake. As a customer, it's incredibly disappointing not to be able to trust professionals with my vehicle. I expected basic communication, accountability, and care. Instead, I was left in the dark and now dealing with the consequences of careless service. This experience has completely shattered my trust in Valvoline.
