There is always a reason you stop going to a certain store, sometime you forget but when you get there, it all comes back. This has to be the worst tire/repair store in Stone Mountain, Ga. The service both on the phone/call center or in person. It really should be hard to get an appointment for a simple tire repair. Over the phone I made an appointment and when I got there, they don't know who I am. Because I had to wait for 3 hours for the appointment, I couldn't wait another hour. They said it would be about a hour before they could get my vehicle in, so I thought I could just come back in an hour. For the last few years, my family has been going here for oil changes, tires, and maintenance. That was mostly out of convenience, since they are close by. Never again. Today, I learned just how dishonest they can be. They tried to take advantage of my wife. Straight up. Her car was having idling issues and so she brought it in. They called her back saying that it needs a $700 tune up and that whoever did it last time did a shoddy job. Supposedly, someone was using zip ties to keep the engine together. Not only were they the only company doing maintenance on this car, they up-sold her on the tune up less than a year ago. That means they didn't finish the job last time, if they did anything at all, and they have no problem cutting corners when they actually do some work. It's just adding insult to injury that they used the same scam back to back. Disgraceful. read more

The appointment was made the day before and was assured he had my size tires, soi arrived get there only to get news two hours later that they had only two of my size tires, they called around ....now I have to wait for the delivery of the tires in the middle of rush our coming from across town.. for my inconvenience they gave an oil change, but after I left my car sensor in indicated my back driver side tire is registered 6-7 psi than the other and they did reset my oil odometer ! I came here for ac problem , was told it just needed Freon , got Freon and was told it's the condenser , had 9 am appointment and came at 8:20 am. Was told it was going to be fixed once I got the new condenser , got done with car at 2:30 and when I drove it 10 minutes down the street the ac was still blowing hot. Came back at 2:44pm and was told it maybe the sensor. Sensor arrived at 5:17pm and was told at 5:40 that's not the problem. I was told to come back at 8am to replace compressor cause that's for sure the problem now (possible bullshit) it's not 10:12am been waiting two hours and being told my part will be here at 1pm. I just told them I can't stay all day !!! At this point I told them to put my old compressor back in and give me a refund. 700$ paid and time wasted for NOTHING ! When I called around noon to see if they could take my car, Nelson answered and was very helpful. My car was at the dealer getting work done, so I didn't know when I could get to the tire place. I arrived at 4:30pm, and even though they were busy, Terry said they'd get it done before 7pm. They replaced two tires that had ruptured from a very bad pothole on North Decatur Road. Went in for a wheel alignment around 8am... they finished at 8:45... never test drove it or double checked their work...and they never even called my name to let me know that it was ready. I paid for the job and left. Only to find the the steering wheel was not straight at all. I brought the vehicle back around 10:15am. Its almost hilarious how much of a joke these employees here are. As I waited, waited, and waited. I finally saw my truck sitting outside. So I asked the joke at the front desk. Hey my truck is done can I get my keys. He checked it out, came back and told me they were still working on it. So the waiting game continued. I finally saw the mechanic take the vehicle for a test drive. Came back and parked it. As i continued to wait patiently no one ever called my name to let me know the vehicle was done. I literally had to go to the front desk and ask the even bigger joke WTF is taking so long. Mind you its 1pm now. He told me he called my name plenty of times. All this to say dont bring your vehicle to this tires plus... go some extra miles to more decent ones. When I got there the next morning the man was trying to sale me the whole store and new tires even though my tires are less than 6 months old. As a woman I would never come to this place of business again because I felt like I was being taken advantage of. This place is awful. They take their time doing EVERYTHING and they lie to you so that they can get you to purchase more things than needed. The lady at the front was rude and condescending. I will NEVER be returning. Update: Here's another reason why I will NEVER be coming back to this establishment. Instead of asking me if I'd like them to get rid of my spare tire, they just threw it away on their own. Literally just blew my tire and went to change it, but guess what? There was no spare. I booked an appointment on online and be there 10 minutes earlier then they tried to ignore my reservation (out of the door price) but likely i had screenshots then I showed them and they flowed up my appointment schedule, unfortunately the technicians are less knowledge because I ordered online my tires size everything is on the paperwork they didn't check they put on wrong size after paid they gave me my keys after 1 hour and 10 minutes, i went to my car i saw it then I immediately reported them, they put my car on the corner and I've been waiting for three hours and twenty minutes, after fixed I asked them to get 59 dollar back and one free oil change, they call Antonio turner he got mad and changed his attitude to me I just kept in silent then They refunded 59 dollar for the tires so I think he refunded one of my tires instead 59 dollar back but the free oil change i am not going because I afraid to not do good oil change as i saw their faces and horrible attitudes that showed me on my visit day... It took them almost three hours to change 3 tires. And it wasn't an issue with waiting in line. I arrived about 10:15 and after paper work etc they had my van on the lift at 10:40. I didn't leave until after 1:10. Slow as molasses. read more

Dropped my car off on Saturday, don't get me wrong they did a great job on my car, But when it was time to pick it up was the problem. They did tell me that it would be ready on Sunday well the internet said that they were closed on Sundays so I thought I'd pick it up on Monday no problem well I get there and they lost the key to my car I had to stand around while they look for my key for 30 minutes I had a doctors appointment to get to I was disappointed because they called me on Sunday to get my car 4 times and I was at work and when I went pick it up I had to wait 30 minutes not mad just disappointed. read more

I had my son's tire changed at this place and left with a brake problem. He had never had any brake problems whatsoever and on top of that, his car is a 2015 and has never skipped a service. Something smells bad here at this particular location. I will never ever return to this location or any other Tires plus location as long as I am alive. There appears to be a major disconnect between the online system (which is excellent) and the retail outlets (which are not!) I use the website to select my tires and request an appointment. After several hours, had not received a confirmation, so I called the retail outlet (under Industrial Boulevard). The woman I spoke to told me the tires I'd selected were not available at her location, even though the website said they were. So, I cancel that appointment and called a more distant retail outlet center (on Memorial Drive), who told me that they did have the tire I wanted. So I switched stores on the website, selected my tires, and request an appointment. This time I received a confirmation within a few minutes. On arriving for my appointment, I was told that in fact, they didn't have the tire I wanted, but had a better one (that was more expensive). The manager then agreed to match the price of the tires that I had actually ordered. You should be this is a higher-quality tire, even though it had a lower tread wear index Then they asked me if I wanted four tires even though I'd plainly said I only wanted two. During the course of the appointment, someone came and asked if I would like my wheels aligned, and I said no thank you - just tires. When I went to check out, the price I was being charged was over $250, even though the quote I had handed them said the charge was $209. Among other things, they had charged me for an alignment check, which is supposed to be free in any case, but which I did not ask for. I refuse to pay anything above the quoted price, so the person checking me out removed up charge items from the bill until it was just under the quoted price. read more

I bought tires from this place in Dec2015, I started having issues with them a few months later, I took my car to another tire location whom said, "these tires are bad", I took my car back to Tires Plus who said, I need a rotate and balance. I did that, even purchased the warranty package, rode for a few weeks, same problem. Took my car to Firestone in Alabama and their exact words, "they sold you defective tires, maybe the wire or belt in tire is broken, that's why its making that sound, the tires need to be replaced". I came back to Tires Plus on Memorial Drive spoke with the front desk Su whom said he will fix it. They checked out the tires and confirmed yes something is wrong and told me they would replace the tires and I would be responsible for the labor fees. They couldn't get to it that day and asked if I would return. I agreed. I went in Fri. May 20, 2016 around 9a. I've never in my life have been so disrespected as a customer ever in my life! The store manager, Roody treated me with absolute disrespect and he's the store manager! He said basically everything that Su told me about replacing my tires were untrue because he was the store manager and he didn't sign off on that he stated they would have to determine why the tires were not good because there's not a recall on it, I explained to the store manager, that was already performed and now its inconveniencing me because all I was told was to bring my car in for replacing not to argue back and forth across the counter with an unprofessional so-called manager!!! Roody argued back and forth with me in front of other customers and employees all because they sold me 4 BAD DEFECTIVE OLD TIRES. This place took advantage of me because I'm a young single black mother and they knew they were selling me bad tires. I don't know a lot about auto and I'm an easy prey for places like this. I try to support Black business that look like me so they can feed their sons and daughters that look like my son but this place will NEVER get another dime out of me and I would advise anyone that's thinking about going here is to do the research and WATCH them because if the leader of the store disrespects/embarrasses a paying customer of course he'll let his employees perform horrible service.
